PURPOSE
The purpose of this method statement is to describe the sequence of activities, method and
other for the efficiency and safety in operation of the existing equipment is required for the FM-200 at
Electrilcal control building of EGCO Cogeneration SPP Replacement Project located in Rayong Industrial
Park, Map Kha Sub-district, Thailand.

METHOD STATEMENT AND REQUIREMENT
This method statement is FM-200 piping and pipe support installation for EGCO Cogeneration
SPP Replacement Project working area ECB(Electrical Control Building)
2.1
Survey Boundary of Electrical Control Building
2.1.1 Due to the existing area has many equipment. We should be survey for definite’s
boundary of equipment’s foundation.
2.2
Pre-Commencement works
2.2.1
Mobilize tool and equipment on site. Obtain necessary As-built
records/Plan/Documents.
2.2.2
Carry out hazard identification and risk assessment
2.2.3
Before start works shall ensure that all gate passes, permits, tools, materials for safety
precautions, manpower, equipment are available before the commencement of work,
and all tool shall be inspected before using.
2.2.4
The Site Team shall make sure that access roads are always clear from any obstruction
and site is always accessible. Provision of access and egress such as ladders, steps,
ramps, or other safe means of egress and be with reasonable distance.
2.2.5
Prior to the commencement of work all persons involved will be given a pre-work
briefing based on the Job Hazard Analysis relating to the risks and required control
measures for the work. The assigned supervisor will be responsible for presenting and
recording the briefing.
2.2.6
Prior to the commencement of work all materials and equipment will be checked to
ensure that they are in good condition.
2.2.7
Perform to inspection of lifting gear before start lifting.

Store the color in the right area.
Put on gloves and goggles before you start painting.
Check the paint on the installation area for scratches or not.
Repair and prepare the surface before painting.

3 Safety and Security Procedure
3.1 General
Base philosophy is that good working conditions, proper instruction and audits at appropriate
timing, and well-trained people who work in the job site will prevent the accident. To prevent accident,
the following "Safety Check Point" shall be secured as General Safety Plan by all people who work in
the job site

All workers shall provide with PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and shall be worn
every time they are entering the site.
Safety induction to be conducted to all new workers that involved to this activity and
safety tool box meeting shall be conducted every day to remind the workers about
concerning the safety.
Safety Officer shall ensure that the activity shall carry out in a safe manager
All workers shall fully support and actively participate in all safety related activities
and comply with all practicable safety measures.
All workers shall be advised report any accident or injury to supervisor and proper
treatment to be obtained.
The site shall be kept clear or unnecessary obstruction.
First aid kid boxes will be provided at site off.
