Title: SCHOOL LEARNING ACTION CELL: Financial Literacy for Teachers

Objective:
This activity aims to:
a. To help in understanding financial concepts that will help them to manage
their money better includes budgeting, investing, insurance, and loans and
interest
b. To manage financial resources effectively for a lifetime of financial
wellbeing.

Teaching and non-teaching personnel of Pamarawan High School

Highlights of the Activity
Last December 12, 2022, the Pamarawan High School teaching and nonteaching personnel participated in a school learning action cell (SLAC)session,
entitled, Financial Literacy for Teachers.
The session started with a short prayer followed by a democratic song
through an audio-visual presentation. Sir Anthony C. Delos Reyes(Licensed
Financial Advisor-Sun Life) and Sir Querobeen Christopher Page Simon
(Licensed Financial Advisor-Sun Life), discussed about the different financial
plans and insurances that a teacher can apply for. Also they helped in
understanding financial concepts that will help them to manage their money
better includes budgeting, investing, insurance, and loans and interest and
how to manage financial resources effectively for a lifetime of financial
wellbeing.
An open forum was led by Teacher James Clinton S. Landagora, which
was participated by the participants.
The session ended with the awarding of the certificate of appreciation for
the speaker-facilitator and a photo opportunity session. A closing remarks was
given by Ma’am Jessa DJ. Roque, marking the end of the SLAC session a
success.
