The following information is valid for applications for the winter semester 2022/23 and onwards. A GMAT (Graduate Management Admission Test) score with at least 640 points is required for applicants with a Bachelor’s degree from China, India, Bangladesh, Egypt or Pakistan. Since there is a difference between grading and credit systems, among others, which are not comparable to ECST system or to the German grading system, we have introduced the GMAT for these countries as we would like to guarantee an equal application and grading process for all of our applicants. To facilitate the application process for you we also accept the online GMAT. If you do not have the official score report at the time of application, you can also upload the preliminary score report. In case you have done the online version, you can also upload a screenshot. Please be sure to give TUM the right to verify it. Unfortunately the GRE cannot be considered. We are happy to inform you that a GMAT score of 600 or higher will also be accepted as proof of English proficiency. In addition, GMAT scores of 650 points and above will be awarded with extra points at the first stage of the assessment procedure. Please be aware that a good GMAT score increases your chance to receive a successful admission for your study program tremendously.
