Function Description: Programme Director Reports to: Associate Dean of Education (for tasks related to position) Programme Director Responsibilities Authority Maintain and improve high quality and effectiveness of the JIBS educational programme(s) by chairing the specific programme group. This includes responsibility for programme educational activities, including evaluation of both on-going and new educational activities Prepare recommendations to ADE regarding specific educational programme(s) within the specific programme group, including decisions and methods to be used to evaluate education. Lead curriculum development and curriculum change processes for educational programme(s) within the specific programme group, including preparation for CUME Lead and delegate tasks related to curriculum activities. Lead quality evaluation review of educational programme(s) within the specific programme group, including analysis of evaluation of programmes and courses, as well as compliance with national and international accreditation specifications Summarize and report on quality issues and prepare recommendations for ADE, CUME and discipline representatives. Interact with 1) discipline representatives in connection with discipline issues 2) ADR in connection with the integration of research into education 3) JIBS dedicated Champions related to JIBS guiding principles, and 4) JSA Quality Officer in connection with quality issues. Speak on behalf of the educational programmes within the specific programme group Take charge in the recruitment of programme advisory board members and coordinate programme advisory board activities. Lead and delegate tasks related to programme advisory boards Represent the programme(s) within the specific programme group in dialogues with students. Speak on behalf of the educational programmes Take part in the planning and execution of JIBS introduction week. Speak on behalf of the educational programmes The function of Programme Director assumes a high level of presence at JIBS throughout the academic year.
