The Side Hustle Directory Congrats… You actually woke up and are trying to take a step in the right direction. That’s step #1 my friend, and you just did this by gaining access to this guide. So you’re probably here because you want a list of side hustles to give you extra income. I’ll be honest with you… I’m not going to tell you the “do dropshipping” or “make money with affiliate marketing!!!” bullshit that you have probably been bombarded with so many times… I’ll also save you the sad and pathetic “make $5 from survey sites!!!” bullshit because you will make literally $1 in 4 hours with those trash sites. So what’s next? Well, I can list you like 100 side hustles, but trust me, that won’t help you one bit because you wouldn’t know which one to start or even what’s the right side hustle for your situation. Instead, let me tell you 7 of my favorite ones that actually work and each is curated for a specific situation. We’ll start by making money within a week, within a month, within 6 months, then within 1 year, and finally make a ton of money within 5 years. Take whichever path you want to, but choose wisely because you need to go 100% into that side hustle to see results. Another way is to start off with the easiest one, then move up toward the more difficult side hustles. Structure So I’m going to structure this whole guide into 5 points: ● The time it takes to start making money with the side hustle ● How much money you can make with it per month ● The difficulty of the side hustle [I’ll represent this with colors] - Easy - Green - Medium - Yellow - Intermediate - Orange - Hard - Red - Not for beginners - Purple ● A quick description of the actual side hustle itself ● Quick steps on how to actually start the side hustle With that being said, let’s get into it! 1. Uber/Lyft/DoorDash ● ● ● ● Time it takes to start: [few days to a week] $/month: [around $2000/month (if full time)] Description: I listed all 3 of these as one side hustle because these are all gig based jobs. You will make decent money if you have a car and can drive around the city. It’s easy to start driving with Uber or Lyft and easy to start delivering food with DoorDash, but the only constraint is that you need a car and have the whole day free to make money, typically around weekends is best. Steps: 1. Go to the Uber/Lyft/DoorDash website 2. Look for where you can apply on the website 3. Fill out the application (they’ll get back to you within days) 4. Send them your information and car details 5. Start driving/delivering food!! 2. Selling an eBook ● ● ● ● Time it takes to start: you can start right now! $/month: $0-1000+/month Description: If you have a passion for writing and know about something really well, then go ahead and write an eBook. This is basically a digital book where you create for free, create once, and sell an infinite amount of times!!! Steps: 1. Open google docs 2. Start writing about something you know really well and can talk about for hours 3. Make chapters on each topic 4. Make it 30-50 pages long 5. Go to Gumroad.com, open a free account and list your eBook there for how much you think it's worth 6. Open an Amazon kdp account, list it on there as well 7. Market either one to everyone you know or your followers on social media 3. Blogging ● ● ● ● Time it takes to start: 6-9 months $/month: $0-5000/month Description: If you love to write and are passionate about a subject, then PLEASE start a blog!!! Post about 1 blog per week and slowly build your audience and you can get monetized with adSense within 6 to 9 months of consistently posting blogs. Steps: 1. Open a WordPress account 2. Get a hosting service (I recommend BlueHost) 3. Watch a tutorial on YouTube on how to set up the blog 4. Write blogs and post them onto your site 5. After 6 months, apply to the adSense program 4. YouTube ● ● ● ● Time it takes to start: 9-12 months $/month: $0-10,000/month Description: Posting videos on YouTube is quite lucrative but the only drawback is that it takes forever to gain 1000 subs and 4000 watch hours, most likely a year. Even after that, you start making pennies per day, so it’s grueling. Steps: 1. Open a YouTube Channel 2. Set up the channel 3. Create videos 4. Use SEO on the videos 5. Upload the videos 6. Apply to partner program after hitting 1k subs and 4k watch hours 5. Instagram ● ● ● ● Time it takes to start: you can start right now! $/month: $0-5000+/month Description: This is actually one of my favorite ways of making money because of how easy it is, how fast it is, and how little time it takes. We’ll be creating an instagram themepage, then making money from that theme page. Don’t worry, you won’t have to post your face or create any content yourself. Steps: 1. Open an Instagram account 2. Pick a niche 3. Set up profile with logo and bio 4. Find similar accounts 5. Repost content from those accounts by giving credit 6. Build up to 1,000 followers 7. Put in an affiliate link in your bio 8. Engage with users and grow your account 9. Sell shoutouts and make money from the affiliate link 10. If you want a full, in depth guide on how to do this, then I created the ultimate guide here: progressivebite.gumroad.com/l/zqgxf 6. Email List ● ● ● ● Time it takes to start: 1-5 years $/month: $0-20,000/month Description: The money is in the list. If you know what that means, then and only then should you pursue this side hustle because it’s difficult for the typical beginner. Essentially you are building up an email list and selling your subscribers products while providing a high voltage amount of value. Steps: 1. Create a GetResponse account 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. Set up your landing page Create your welcome email that provides value Create follow up emails that provide value Market the landing page on social media Email your subscribers weekly with information, then once a week upsell a product (very hard to do) 7. Fiverr Arbitraging ● ● ● ● Time it takes to start: 1- 2 months $/month: $0-500/month Description: This is basically service dropshipping. You pay $5 for a gig on Fiverr, then sell it for $20 on another gig based website. The drawback to this is that it takes forever getting clients. Steps: 1. Set up a Fiverr Account 2. Post a $20 gig on another website like Upwork 3. Once someone buys your gig for $20, buy the same gig on Fiverr for $5 4. You keep the $15 5. Make the customer leave a 5 star review to attract more clients Conclusion In conclusion, all of these side hustles are wayyy more worth it rather than doing those trash surveys that pay you pennies and don't allow your income to flow. If this helped you in any way, then please leave a review. I'll create more in depth guides in the future on each one of these side hustles if you guys want.
