In Barangay Calumpang General Santos City,small business play a significant role in the local economy. However,these businesses face unique cahllenges in managing their cash flow due to various factor such as limited financial literacy and lack of acess to finanical resources. Cash flow management is a significant challenge that small business owners face globally. Many small business struggle to maintain a positive cash flow due to factors such as late payments from customers,unexpected expenses and difficulty accesing credit. In additiom, the COVID-19 pandemic has further exacerbated cash flow problems for smal business, with many experiencing reduced revenue and increased expeses. According to a study by the small Business Administration,82% of small businesses fail due to cash flow problems.he lack of financial literacy and access to finanical resources can also contribute to cash flow issues for small business owners. Cash flow management in a business is an important thing that enteprenuers entrepreneurs must know. A simple mistake can lead to bankruptcy and it does not only effect the business but also affect the nation.One of its impacts in the Philippines is inflation.It is the rising of market price in any product/service offer. As the researcher said, mismanaging money in a business cam cause bankruptcy.Bankruptcy can force business owners to increase their product/service prices which can lead the country to infaltion. Cash flow management of small businesses greatly affect General Santos City.The city is known for being the one supplier of tuna in the Philippines. And if fishing companies failed to manage the finanical matter it will affect not only the area of Barangay Calumpang.But if the company sucessfully manage the business cash flow, it would not just only bring scuess to the company but also in General Santos City. Therefore, it is essential to undestand the factors that contribute to cash flow management problems among small businesses in Barangay Calumpang, as this knowledge can inform global effort to support small business owners in managing their finances effectively, By conductingn a study on cash flow management, The Researchers and Participants will be able to determine how small bsuiness owners handle the flow of cash.Cash flow management is also important considering that it helps organizations accurately predict how much money will be available to use in the future. Grand tour Question The researchers wants to find out how small business owners maintain successfully the flow of money of their businesses. Specifically this reasearch aims to anser these question: 1.How is the experinece of small business owners in Barangay Calumpang General Santos City on cash flow management? Scope and Limitations This study will focus on the live experience of small business owners in Barangay Calumpang, General Santos City, specifically on cash flow management. The study will explore how small business owners in the barangay manage their cash flow on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis. The study will also examine the challenges that small business owners face when managing their cash flow and the strategies they use to overcome these challenges. The study will cover small businesses in different industries such as retail, food and beverage, and services. This study has several limitations that should be considered when interpreting the findings. Firstly, the study will only focus on small business owners in Barangay Calumpang, General Santos City, and the findings may not be generalizable to other barangays or cities. Secondly, the study will rely on self-reported data from small business owners, which may be subject to bias or errors. Thirdly, the study will only focus on cash flow management and will not cover other aspects of financial management such as accounting, taxation, and budgeting. Finally, the study will only cover small businesses and may not be applicable to larger businesses or corporations. The purpose of this survey is to learn about their actual cash flow experiences in their small enterprises. The goal of this study is to learn about how participants dealt with managing cash flow in their small enterprises. The participants of this study is those small business owners, In its 2019 List of Establishments, the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) recorded 1,000,506 business enterprises operating in the country. Of these, 99.5% (995,745) are MSMEs. The main purpose of this research is to inform action, to prove a theory, and contribute to developing knowledge in this file/study. A tool for building knowledge and facilitating learning. Means to understand various issues and increase public awareness. An aid to business success. Where will i conduct our research in this article, we will look ay four different date collection – techniques, observation, questionair, interviews and fucos group discussion – and evaluate their sustainability under different circumstances. This study will guide the small business owners on how to manage their cash flows. Customers: The research benefits the customers of the small business owners. It might allow the researchers to have informations about the lived experiences on cash flow management of the small business owners. Future Researchers: In the near future, researchers will make use of the results of the researchers present study, It will allow them to gain a sufficient knowledge from the researchers present study about the lived experience of small business owners and to know how to manage cash flow. Definition of Terms and Concepts For the clarity and better understanding of the terms used in this Study, the following concepts were defined. Cash Flow Management: It is the process of organizing, monitoring, and regulating the flow of money into and out of a company is known as cash flow management. It entails anticipating future cash requirements, making sure there are enough resources on hand to satisfy these demands, and managing any extra cash in a way that optimizes its worth. Small Business Owners: It is a person who establishes, plans, and runs a business with a lot of initiative (and frequently while taking a lot of risk) is referred to as an entrepreneur or a small business owner.
