Allihiem
The Creation of Divide
As I pored over the ancient tomes of Elven history, I
couldn’t help but feel a sense of excitement at the
prospect of uncovering new knowledge. And indeed,
what I discovered about the great conflict that divided
Allihiem did not disappoint.
According to the records I studied, the conflict began
with a religious schism between the Shadow Elves and
the High Elves and Eladrin of Solaria. The Shadow
Elves turned to a dark entity, seeking power and control
over their enemies. The Solarian Elves, on the other
hand, tried to reason with them, but to no avail.
As the conflict dragged on for centuries, it only grew
more intense. The Shadow Elves, bolstered by their
dark magic, held the upper hand for many years. But
eventually, a hero emerged from Solaria - an Eladrin
wizard of unparalleled power named Arkala, who led
the final battle against the followers of the dark entity.
The battle
Solaria
Carimitas Notes
As I continued my research into the nation of Allihiem,
my attention turned to the northern half of the nation,
known as Solaria. From what I have learned, Solaria is
a land of great beauty and power, ruled by a monarchy
comprised of branching families of High Elves and
Eladrin.
Despite the splendor of Solaria, however, there are dark
undercurrents that run through the land. The High
Elves and Eladrin of Solaria see themselves as superior
to other Elven races, viewing Shadow and Wood Elves
as lesser beings fit only for servitude. Indeed, it is said
that they have treated these other Elven races as slaves
in the past, a practice that continues to this day.
Militancy is deeply ingrained in the culture of Solaria,
with the people trained from a young age to be skilled in
the arts of war. They are fiercely protective of their land
and resources, and have even gone so far as to establish
two large fortresses at the mouth of a secondary river
that runs along their borders, each manned by one of
the two nations that make up Allihiem.
Despite their militaristic tendencies, however, the
people of Solaria are not without their cultural
achievements. They are known for their masterful use
of magic, and are considered to be among the most
skilled practitioners of magic in all of Elven society.
As I reflect on what I have learned about Solaria, I am
struck by the complexity of this great nation. It is a land
of great beauty and power, but also one of dark
prejudices and militarism. Only time will tell how the
story of Solaria will unfold in the years to come.
The Royal family
The royal family of Solaria is a complex and powerful
one, consisting of a king and queen and their five heirs.
King Arinthal, a High Elf of great power and stature, has
ruled Solaria with an iron hand for many years. Queen
Elwynn, an Eladrin known for her wisdom and grace,
stands by his side, serving as his closest advisor.
The five heirs to the Solarian throne are as follows:
Prince Thanial, eldest of the king's children and heir
apparent. He is known for his military prowess and
cunning, and is favored by his father for his
unwavering loyalty.
Princess Savina, second eldest and only daughter of
the king and queen. She is a controversial figure
within the family, known for her unorthodox ideas
and rebellious nature. She has been under house
arrest for the past few years, but rumors persist that
she seeks to overthrow her father and establish her
own rule.
Prince Levius, third in line to the throne, is a skilled
politician and brilliant tactician, but also known for
his cruelty and ruthlessness.
Princess Calantha, fourth in line to the throne, is a
quiet and reserved Eladrin known for her skill in
magic and diplomacy.
Prince Kaelen, youngest of the king's children, is a
High Elf known for his adventurous spirit and love of
exploration.
Aren Thal
Aren Thal, the capital city of Solaria, is a place of great
power and beauty. Situated at the center of a massive
living swamp, it is surrounded by high walls that protect
it from any who would seek to harm it. At its heart
stands a great tree, which reaches up into the sky and
serves as a symbol of the city's majesty and strength.
The city is heavily guarded, with soldiers stationed at
every gate and tower to ensure that its citizens are safe
from any outside threat. Within the walls, the city is
divided into two distinct areas. The outer district is
home to slaves, menial workers, and non-High Elves,
who toil away in the sweltering heat to keep the city
running smoothly.
In contrast, the inner district is a paradise-like utopia,
reserved exclusively for the Eladrin and High Elves who
dwell within. Here, great white stone towers and
buildings soar into the sky, each one capable of housing
thousands of residents. The streets are clean and wellmaintained, and the air is filled with the scent of exotic
flowers and spices.
The High Elves who rule Solaria hold a great deal of
power within the city, and their influence is felt
everywhere. They live in opulent palaces, surrounded by
luxury and comfort, while their subjects toil away in the
fields and workhouses outside the city walls.
Despite its opulence and beauty, however, Aren Thal
is a city that is fraught with tension and conflict. The
vast gulf between the ruling High Elves and their
subjects is a source of great resentment and anger, and
the city is a powder keg that could explode at any
moment. It remains to be seen whether the rulers of
Solaria can maintain their grip on power in the face of
these challenges.
Valoris
Carimitas Notes
As I travel through Valoris, I can't help but admire the
fierce spirit of its people. They value their freedom
above all else, and that's apparent in every aspect of
their society. The Shadow and Wood elves, along with
some High elves, live here in harmony, and they are
ruled by a religious oligarchy. The council of religious
members and nobility control the nation, but it's the
love of freedom that governs the people.
The forest is their home, and they protect it fiercely.
They have some of the best guerrilla fighters I've ever
seen, and their spies are unmatched. It's said that they
can slip into enemy territory without being noticed and
gather intel without anyone suspecting them.
But what I find most fascinating is their "Bleeding
trees." They call them that because they're covered in
blood-red sap that drips like tears. These trees were
created to protect their land, and they've done an
excellent job of it their roots able to move at a moments
notice to dispatch anything they see as hostile. It's both
beautiful and terrifying to see these trees, and the
creatures that protect them are not to be trifled with.
I can see why the people of Valoris are so fiercely
independent. They've created a nation that's both
beautiful and deadly, and they'll defend it to their last
breath. I hope to learn more about their culture and
their way of life while I'm here.
Despite their power and strength, however, Valoris is
a nation that is plagued by internal divisions and strife.
The nobility and ruling council are constantly jockeying
for power and influence, and there are many factions
within the nation that are vying for control.
Furthermore, the use of dark magic has taken its toll on
the land and people of Valoris, and there are many who
fear that the nation is on the brink of collapse.
The Ruling Circle
Valoris is controlled by 3 main families who rule half of
its society, The other half is controlled by a religious
group known as "The Blood of Gias" this has created a
large amount of tension over the generations as control
and power shifts between the two groups often. The
only true source of unity being the hatred of Solaria.
The Duskbringers
The Duskbringers are a family of Shadow Elves who
have long been associated with Valoris’ spy network
and skilled Gorilla fighters. Their leader is a charismatic
and cunning elf named Valtor, who is feared and
respected by all who know him. Valtor is a master of
espionage and subterfuge, and he has been known to
use his skills to protect Valoris at any cost. He’s a man
who loves his people and will do whatever it takes to
ensure their freedom and safety. Despite his fearsome
reputation, he’s also known for his compassion and his
willingness to listen to those around him. His leadership
has brought the Duskbringers to new heights of power
and influence, and they’re a force to be reckoned with in
Valoris and beyond.

The Moonblades
The Moonblades are a powerful family of High Elves
who are known for their swordsmanship and their
unwavering loyalty to Valoris. Their leader is a fierce
and proud elf named Lyra, who is feared by her enemies
for her quick temper and her willingness to go to any
lengths to protect her family and her nation. Lyra is a
skilled warrior who has spent her life training in the art
of swordsmanship, and she demands the same level of
dedication from her followers. She is also deeply
passionate about the history and traditions of her
people, and she can be ruthless in her pursuit of justice
and revenge.
The Moonblades have a reputation for being quick to
anger and for going to extremes to destroy their
enemies. They are fiercely protective of their family and
their nation, and they will stop at nothing to defend
them. Their skills in combat are unparalleled, and they
are known for their ability to strike swiftly and
decisively. Despite their fearsome reputation, they are
deeply respected by the people of Valoris, and their
loyalty to their nation is unquestioned.
The Greenwoods
The Greenwoods are a family of Wood Elves who are
known for their mastery of the forests and their fierce
protection of Valoris’ natural resources. Their leader is
a wise and serene elf named Yavanna, who is beloved by
her people for her gentle nature and her deep
connection to nature. Yavanna is a healer and a
protector, and she’s often called upon to mediate
disputes and to heal those who have been injured in
battle. Despite her gentle nature, she’s also fiercely
protective of her people and will do whatever it takes to
defend them from harm. Under her leadership, the
Greenwoods have become one of the most respected
families in Valoris, and their skills in archery and
woodcraft are legendary. They’re also known for their
deep spiritual practices and their reverence for the
natural world.
The Blood of Gias
A powerful religious organization that holds sway over
the southern half of Valoris. They preach a message of
harmony with nature, seeing it as the ultimate source of
power and wisdom. They believe that after death, all
elves are absorbed into nature as spirits, becoming one
with the world around them.
Despite their message of peace, the Blood of Gias is
known for their extreme and uncompromising stance
against those who oppose them. They are the first to
call for the extermination of their enemies, down to the
last child, and are feared and respected for their
ruthlessness.
The first is called Erona, a charismatic and powerful
figure who commands respect and admiration from all
who hear her speak. She is known for her fiery rhetoric
and her unwavering commitment to the cause of nature.
The second leader is named Taryn, a cunning and
ruthless figure who is feared and respected in equal
measure. He is a master of strategy and tactics, and is
often the one responsible for the Blood of Gias’ most
daring and brutal operations.
The third and final leader is a mysterious figure
known only as the Oracle. Little is known about this
figure, except that they are revered by the Blood of Gias
as a powerful seer and prophet, capable of glimpsing
the future and guiding the organization towards their
ultimate destiny.
Together, these three leaders guide the Blood of Gias
with an iron fist, and are feared and respected
throughout the land for their power, their ruthlessness,
and their unshakable faith in the power of nature.
Curinar
Carimitas Notes
Curinar, the nation known as the birthplace of
humanity, is a land steeped in rich history and complex
political intrigue. As the foremost authority on the
subject, I have delved deep into the annals of time to
uncover the true origins of this nation.
Legend has it that humans arrived in Curinar from a
great gate thousands of years ago, and though their
coming was not peaceful, they quickly conquered and
dominated the native inhabitants of the land. It is said
that they waged war against the previous occupants, a
race of powerful beings known as the Ancients, and that
they were ultimately successful in their endeavor,
leading to the near-total extermination of the Ancients.
Despite their violent origins, humans have gone on to
create a society divided into five great houses. The
ruling house, House Draconwall, has held power for
over a thousand years, and is renowned for its riders
who mount war drakes into battle. The king himself is
said to ride a golden dragon, a symbol of the house’s
might and power.
House Crowell, once a rebellious faction, has
transformed into an economic powerhouse that drives
the nation’s commerce forward. Meanwhile, House
Grendal’s towering men serve as the backbone of the
nation’s military, and are experts in the art of siege
warfare.
House Stagwall, on the other hand, has established
itself as the nexus of the nation’s trade by controlling
the largest river port in the continent. The order known
as “The Flowers of Irithal,” a group of elite Pegasusriding horsemen, hail from this house and are famed for
their valor in battle.
Lastly, House Phoenix has amassed great wealth
through its mining and trade shipping industries, and
provides a formidable force of battle mages to the
kingdom, as well as the majority of its trading goods.
As a scholar, it is my duty to impartially observe and
document the complexities of Curinar’s society, from its
dark origins
to its current state of affairs.
House Crowell
Carimitas Notes
As I delve deeper into the history of Curinar’s great
houses, I have come across fascinating details about
House Crowell. It is said many years ago, a family
branch of Crowell called the “Black feathers” made
dark deals with an ancient evil. When the ruling House
Draconwall found out about this treachery, they
unleashed their fury on the Crowells, nearly eradicating
the entire family. The event was later referred to as the
“Scouring of the crows.”
However, House Crowell managed to rebuild itself as
an economic powerhouse, specializing in mining
magical crystals and becoming a hub for mercenaries
and skilled workers. It is a fascinating tale of how a
family can fall so far and rise once again to prominence.
I am intrigued by the resilience and resourcefulness of
the House Crowell, and I look forward to discovering
more about their contributions to the kingdom of
Curinar.
They’ve divided themselves into four secondary main
houses as well, I always find it interesting how division
always presents itself even in small lands.
The main house
The current leader of House Crowell is Lord Alden
Crowell, a shrewd and calculating man who rose to
power after the fall of the Black Feathers. He is a
pragmatic individual who has devoted himself to the
pursuit of wealth and power, and he has achieved both
through his skillful management of the family’s
resources and mercenary forces.
The Silverwings
The Silverwings are led by Lord Carl Crowell, a shrewd
and calculating man who values profit above all else. He
is known to be a master negotiator and is often called
upon to broker deals between the various houses.
Under Lord Carl leadership, the Silverwings have
become one of the wealthiest families in the kingdom.
They have invested heavily in mining operations and
trade, and their coffers are said to be bottomless.
Despite their wealth and influence, the Silverwings
are not without their enemies. Many of the other noble
houses view them with suspicion, seeing their focus on
profit as a sign of greed and lack of honor.
Nonetheless, the Silverwings remain a formidable
force, with skilled craftsmen and powerful mercenaries
at their disposal. They are a force to be reckoned with,
and their influence on the politics and economy of the
kingdom cannot be understated.
The Nightblades
House Crowell’s family of the Nightblades is known for
their expertise in espionage and assassination. They
have a reputation for being the best in the business, and
their services are highly sought after by those in power.
The Nightblades operate in the shadows and have a vast
network of informants and spies across the kingdom.
Led by the shrewd and cunning Lord Nethaniel
Crowell, the Nightblades are a small but influential
family within the larger Crowell House. Lord Nethaniel
is a master of manipulation and is feared by his enemies
for his ability to outwit them at every turn. He has eyes
and ears everywhere, and no secret is safe from him.
The Nightblades are divided into several branches,
each specializing in a different aspect of their craft.
The Black Daggers are the elite assassins, known for
their deadly precision and efficiency. The Whisperers
are the information gatherers, skilled in the art of
interrogation and persuasion. The Shadow Walkers are
the infiltrators, capable of slipping past even the most
stringent security measures. And finally, the
Bloodhounds are the enforcers, tasked with dealing
with traitors and those who would betray the family.
The Nightblades’ loyalty to House Crowell is
unshakable, but they are also fiercely independent and
operate on their own terms. They are a force to be
reckoned with, and their enemies would do well to fear
the darkness that surrounds them.
The Copperclaws
House Crowell’s family of The Copperclaws is a family
branch that specializes in mining and metallurgy. They
are known for their expertise in extracting rare metals
from deep mines, and their craftsmanship is sought
after throughout the kingdom. The family has
accumulated a vast fortune from their mining
operations, and they have invested heavily in the
creation of advanced metalworking techniques.
The Copperclaws are known for their hard work and
dedication, and they take great pride in their craft. They
have a reputation for being stubborn and
uncompromising, and they will stop at nothing to
achieve their goals. The family is led by Lord Drogan
Copperclaw, a shrewd and cunning leader who has built
the family’s wealth and reputation through years of hard
work and calculated risks.
The family has four main branches, each specializing
in a different aspect of mining and metallurgy. The first
branch is responsible for the extraction of precious
metals such as gold and silver. The second branch
specializes in the extraction of rare metals such as
mithril and adamantine. The third branch is responsible
for smelting and refining the metals extracted by the
other two branches. The fourth branch is responsible
for crafting finished products such as weapons, armor,
and jewelry.
The Copperclaws are a proud and ambitious family,
and they are constantly looking for new ways to expand
their operations and increase their wealth. While they
are respected for their skills and expertise, they are also
feared by their enemies, who know that the
Copperclaws will stop at nothing to protect their
interests.
The Ironwings
House Crowell’s family of the Ironwings is known for
their expertise in crafting weapons and armor. They
have a long-standing tradition of blacksmithing and
their armory is among the best in the land. The
Ironwings are fiercely loyal to House Crowell and are
renowned for their craftsmanship, producing highquality weapons and armor for the entire Kingdom.
The current leader of the Ironwings is Lord Edric
Ironwing, a stern and serious man who is respected by
his family and his peers. He is a skilled blacksmith
himself and takes pride in the quality of the armor and
weapons that his family produces.
The Ironwings are divided into several branches, each
specializing in a different type of crafting. The main
branch is the armory, which produces most of the
weapons and armor for House Crowell’s army. Another
branch is responsible for creating the intricate designs
that adorn the armor and weapons. The Ironwings also
have a branch that specializes in creating siege engines
and another that creates tools for mining and
construction.
Overall, the Ironwings are a formidable force in the
Kingdom of Curinar, providing the army with the
necessary arms and armor to defend the land. Their
craftsmanship is renowned throughout the Kingdom,
and they take great pride in their work.
The Ironhold
As I entered the gates of Ironhold, my senses were
assaulted by the constant clamor of metal and
machinery. The outer city was a never-ending maze of
blacksmiths, tinkers, and traders. Their wares glittered
in the sunlight, promising riches and adventure to any
who dared to seek it.
But it was the inner city that truly captured my
attention. The nobles of House Crowell and their
mercenary guilds held court here, their opulent
mansions standing tall and proud against the backdrop
of the city’s many forges and factories.
As I walked through the streets, I couldn’t help but
notice the constant presence of armed guards, a
reminder that power here was held not just by wealth,
but also by might. And at the heart of it all stood Castle
Ironhold, a castle built on a hill of many-colored crystals
that glowed with an otherworldly light in the night.
I couldn’t help but feel a sense of awe as I looked
upon it, knowing that it was the seat of power for one of
the most influential houses in all of Curinar. It was said
that the castle’s dungeons held countless secrets and
treasures, and that the nobles of House Crowell ruled
with an iron fist, their reach extending far beyond the
walls of their city.
As I made my way through the winding streets and
shadowy alleys, I knew that I had much to learn about
this city and the people who called it home. But one
thing was certain: Ironhold was a place of power,
wealth, and danger, and I was eager to explore every
inch of it.
House Draconwall
Carimitas Notes
As I delve deeper into the history of House Draconwall,
I cannot help but be intrigued by their ties to dragons.
According to the legends, their bloodline dates back to
ancient times when humans arrived in this land through
mysterious gates. They were not welcomed by the
previous inhabitants and a brutal war ensued, with the
humans emerging victorious.
It is said that during the war, the leader of House
Draconwall made a pact with a powerful dragon, and
their fates became intertwined. The dragon pledged its
loyalty to the house and granted them its strength and
wisdom, while the house swore to protect and serve the
dragon’s interests.
This pact led to the rise of House Draconwall as a
powerful force in this land. Their militarized society is
based on the principles of a land unknown but none
match them in siege nore open field, with strict
hierarchy and discipline they have dominated for a long
age. They ride war drakes into battle and are feared for
their ferocity and unwavering loyalty to their cause.
As I dig deeper into their history, I find that House
Draconwall has faced many challenges over the
centuries. There have been rebellions, political intrigue,
and even a devastating civil war that nearly destroyed
their society. But through it all, they have endured, and
their power and influence have only grown stronger.
Their leadership is marked by a fierce determination
to maintain their dominance, and they do not hesitate to
use force to crush any who would challenge their
authority. But they also have a code of honor and
justice, and they hold themselves to a high standard of
integrity.
It is clear that House Draconwall is a complex and
formidable organization, with a rich history that is both
fascinating and intimidating. I look forward to learning
more about their past and uncovering the secrets that
have made them such a force to be reckoned with.
The Emperor
The current Emperor of House Draconwall is Roderick
Draconwall the IV, a stern and imposing figure who has
ruled the kingdom for the past two decades. He is a
formidable warrior, having personally led his armies in
many battles and campaigns, and is widely respected
and feared throughout the kingdom for his military
prowess and strategic brilliance. He is known for his
fierce loyalty to his House and his people, and for his
unyielding determination to see his Empire prosper and
grow.
Roderick has been married twice, and has five
children. His first wife, who passed away from illness
several years ago, was named Lyra Stormcrest. She
was a beloved figure in the Empire and was known for
her kindness and generosity. Aldric was deeply affected
by her passing and it is said that he still mourns her to
this day. Verolis announced the following day that she
had been assassinated by a agent of the kingdom of “El
Telaiia”
He is succeeded by his 3 sons and 2 daughters all
from his late wife.
Queen Senna Arnbeck
Senna Arnbeck, the current queen of Curinar, is a force
to be reckoned with. Her jet-black hair is always styled
impeccably, and her sharp features are rarely without a
calculating look. Known throughout the kingdom as
“the viper,” she has earned this title through her
impressive political maneuvering and her ruthless
tendencies towards those who oppose her. Her
husband, the emperor, is quick to follow her lead and it
is whispered that he is nothing without her guidance.
However, her attention has been recently focused on the
Order of the Shattered Sun, a group of fanatics who
believe in the eradication of all evil. Queen Senna has
taken a keen interest in their methods, which often
involve torture and excessive violence. She has granted
them freedom to operate throughout much of the
kingdom, and their influence can be seen in the many
executions that have taken place under their watch.
Some question whether the queen’s motivations are
truly aligned with the good of the kingdom, or if she is
merely using the Order as a means to eliminate her
enemies and tighten her grip on power.
Kael Draconwall
Kael is the eldest son of the current Emperor, next in
line for the throne. He is a tall, muscular man with
short, curly hair the color of honey and a neatly trimmed
beard. His piercing blue eyes are often described as
intense and focused, giving him an intimidating
presence. He has a small scar above his left eyebrow
from an assassination attempt that he miraculously
survived.
Kael is known for his bravery and martial prowess,
having trained extensively in swordsmanship and
mounted combat. He is a born leader and commands
respect from his men on the battlefield. He has also
shown a keen interest in politics and diplomacy, often
representing his father in matters of state.
One of Kael’s most notable achievements was his
leadership during a recent campaign against “El
Telaiia” leading a attack force directly into the enemy
palace..
However, his one major failure was during a diplomatic
mission to negotiate a treaty with Darilof. Kael’s fiery
temper got the best of him and he made a grave insult to
the opposing leader, causing the talks to break down
and the empire to lose an important ally.
Despite this, Kael has a loyal following among the
people and the military. His charisma and courage
inspire those around him, and many see him as a strong
and worthy successor to the throne.
Garret Draconwall
Garret, the second son of the Emperor, is known as the
black sheep of the family due to his lack of interest in
military affairs, unlike his brothers. Instead, he devotes
himself to the study of magic and the arcane, displaying
a remarkable talent in these fields. While his brothers
engage in political and military activities, Garret is
content to spend his time alone, conducting research
and experimenting with magic.
Despite his reclusive nature, Garret is highly
respected by the academic community for his numerous
contributions to the field of magical studies. He has
published several scholarly articles and treatises on a
variety of magical subjects and has even developed his
own unique spells and enchantments.
Garret is a tall, slender man with a pale complexion and
jet-black hair that falls to his shoulders. He often wears
long, flowing robes of dark colors, adorned with
intricate magical sigils and symbols. His sharp, piercing
eyes seem to radiate intelligence and wisdom.
While Garret’s magical talents are impressive, his
lack of interest in military affairs has caused tension
within the family. He has been known to clash with his
father, the Emperor, who sees military prowess as a
necessary trait for any member of the royal family.
Aiden Draconwall
Aiden, the youngest of the Draconwall brothers, was
known for his headstrong nature and valiant deeds in
battle. He has always been a force to be reckoned with
on the battlefield, leading his troops with courage and
honor. However, in recent times, Aiden has become
increasingly enamored with the darker pleasures of life.
His obsession with drugs, alcohol, and women has led
him down a dangerous path. He has started to neglect
his duties as a member of House Draconwall, often
missing important meetings and events. His behavior
has caused concern among his family and advisors, who
fear that his recklessness will bring shame upon the
house.
Despite their efforts to intervene, Aiden’s downward
spiral continues. His once formidable skills in battle
have been dulled by his addiction, and his once bright
future is now clouded by the shadow of his vices. His
family has tried to help him, but he has rejected their
attempts at intervention, preferring instead to drown
himself in his own self-indulgence.
Aiden’s fall from grace has been a painful one for his
family, who must now watch helplessly as he descends
further into darkness. The once promising young
warrior has become a shadow of his former self, a
cautionary tale of the dangers of excess and indulgence.
Niamh Ironscale
Niamh, the youngest daughter of the emperor, is a
young girl who is quickly coming into her own. At only
ten years old, she is already showing an impressive skill
with both weapons and magic, which has caught the
attention of many in the court. She is a serious child,
more often than not found with a book in her hand, and
has become known for her quiet determination.
Despite her young age, Niamh has a close
relationship with the current queen and is often seen by
her side. It is rumored that the queen has taken a
particular interest in the girl, and that she has been
helping to guide and mentor her in both magic and
politics.
Despite her apparent seriousness, there is still a hint of
the bubbly young child that Niamh used to be. She is
known to have a sharp wit and a sense of humor that
can catch people off guard. However, in recent years,
she has become much more reserved and sullen,
causing some to worry about her well-being.
Despite her promising future, there are whispers that
Niamh’s talents may be wasted in House Draconwall,
and that she may be better off seeking her own path.
However, for now, she remains a loyal daughter of the
empire, and a promising young member of the family.
StrathHolme The Imperial City
Curinar’s capital city, known as the Imperial City, is a
marvel of architecture and engineering. The city is
situated on seven hills and is surrounded by imposing
walls made of white stone. The streets are wide and
well-maintained, lined with towering buildings made of
marble and granite. The city’s centerpiece is the
Imperial Palace, a sprawling complex of courtyards,
gardens, and halls. The palace is said to be the largest
building in the world, with hundreds of rooms and
dozens of grand halls.
The Imperial Forum, located at the heart of the city, is
a vast plaza surrounded by columns and statues of great
leaders and heroes of the past. The city is home to
numerous temples, markets, and public baths, all of
which are designed to serve the needs of its citizens.
The Imperial City is not only the political center of
Curinar, but also its cultural and intellectual hub,
attracting scholars, artists, and philosophers from all
over the kingdom
House Grendal
Carimitas Notes
I have delved with great frustration into the history of
House Grendal, but my persistence has been rewarded
with a treasure trove of information. According to
ancient myth, the founder of House Grendal was a great
hero who slew a monstrous beast known as the “Mother
of Monsters”. This legend has clearly had a profound
impact on the values and beliefs of the people of House
Grendal.
One aspect that I find particularly intriguing is the
coming of age ceremony that the Grendal people
perform. It involves their children fighting to the death
against beasts, which is something I have never seen
outside of the lands of Grond. This ritual speaks to the
Grendal people’s hardy nature and their deep-seated
belief in strength and courage.
Despite their warrior ways, the Grendal people also
have a strong sense of community and honor. They
place great value on family and are known for producing
great men and women of valor. Their land is often
referred to as “the land of heroes,” and it’s easy to see
why.
In my research, I’ve also discovered that House
Grendal has a long history of defending their lands from
invaders and external threats. Their fierce
determination and unyielding spirit have earned them a
reputation as some of the most formidable warriors in
the land.
Overall, I have come to admire the Grendal people
and their unwavering dedication to their beliefs and way
of life. My journey into their history has been
exhausting, but the insights I’ve gained have been truly
enlightening.
The House of Heros
The current leader of House Grendal is named Thorgar
Grendalson. He is a towering figure, standing at an
impressive 7 feet tall with broad shoulders and a
muscular build. His long blonde hair is often tied back
in a braid, revealing his sharp features and icy blue eyes.
Despite his imposing presence, he is known to be a just
and fair leader, with a keen sense of wisdom and
strategy.
Thorgar gained much of his renown at a young age,
as he had already achieved great feats by the time he
was a teenager. At the age of 14, he single-handedly
defeated a massive creature known as “The Ice Worm
of Nairilith,” which had been terrorizing nearby villages.
This act of bravery and strength cemented his place as a
leader within House Grendal.
Thorgar is deeply respected by his people, who view
him as a symbol of the strength and determination that
defines their house. He is known to be a man of few
words, but his actions speak volumes. He is not only a
skilled warrior, but also a shrewd diplomat and
strategist, able to navigate the complex politics of
Curinar with ease.
Grimholde
Grimhold, the heart of the Grendal Territory, is a city
built upon the site where the first leader, Carlek
Ironjaw, defeated a mighty dragon that had been
terrorizing the land. Instead of a castle, the center of the
city boasts a massive feasting hall, which is heavily
fortified and serves as the city’s keep. The hall, made of
dark stone and wood, is adorned with intricate carvings
depicting scenes of battles and heroic deeds.
While the Grendal family is the ruling house of the
territory, they prefer to live in a large estate within the
city rather than in the keep itself. The estate is
surrounded by high walls and is well-guarded by the
Grendal’s most skilled warriors. The estate also
features a lush garden, tended to by skilled
horticulturists, with an array of rare plants and herbs.
Grimhold itself is built, with many of the buildings
featuring thatched roofs and intricate carvings. The city
is located in the coldest region of the territory, and as
such, the buildings are made to withstand harsh
winters. The streets of Grimhold are narrow and
winding, but always bustling with activity, with
merchants hawking their wares and farmers bringing
their goods to market.
Despite the city’s strong defenses, the people of
Grimhold are friendly and hospitable, welcoming
travelers and visitors with open arms. The locals take
great pride in their heritage and the feats of their
ancestors, with many stories and legends being passed
down from generation to generation.
The Greathall
The Great Hall is, a massive feasting hall located within
the keep. It is said to be the largest hall in all of the land,
capable of seating a thousand people at once. The hall is
famous for its grand feasts and celebrations, which are
held on important occasions such as victories in battle
or the coming of age of young warriors. The walls of the
hall are adorned with the banners and trophies of past
battles, and the great hearth at the far end of the hall is
always lit, providing warmth and light to the revelers.
The Great Hall is truly a sight to behold and a symbol of
the strength and grandeur of House Grendal. It is
rumored that on silent evenings the sound of great
battles can still be heard within its walls of hero’s from
ages past
House Phoenix
Carimitas Notes
I have recently discovered the origin story of House
Phoenix, the southernmost house of Curinar, and it is
nothing short of fascinating. Legend has it that their
ancestors were once mere mortals until they
encountered a powerful phoenix that granted them the
gift of fire and magic. With this newfound power, they
established House Phoenix and became known as the
Flamesouls.
Their capital city of Ignis is said to be nestled within a
great mountain, surrounded by walls of red stone and
protected by a powerful enchantment that only allows
those with the Flamesoul bloodline to enter. I can only
imagine the wonders that must exist within such a
place.
Despite their impressive magical abilities, it seems that
House Phoenix is cursed with a unique affliction. As
they age, their minds begin to fray like the embers of a
fire, causing many to succumb to madness in their later
years. It is a tragic fate for such a powerful and revered
house.
I am also intrigued to learn that House Phoenix is
known for their skilled battle mages, rather than
archers as previously believed. They are said to ride
mounted creatures known as Rocs, which they
magically imbue with a fiery appearance, striking fear
into the hearts of their enemies.
I cannot wait to delve deeper into the history and lore
of House Phoenix. It is a house that is truly unlike any
other, with a unique blend of fire, magic, and tragedy
that sets them apart from the rest of Curinar.
Lord Bryan Phoenix
Lord Bryan Phoenix is the current head of House
Phoenix. He is a tall man with fiery red hair and
piercing green eyes. He carries himself with a regal
bearing and radiates an air of authority. Lord Bryan is
known for his tactical mind and his ability to think on
his feet in the heat of battle. He is also a skilled battle
mage, having honed his magical abilities to a razorsharp edge. Despite his often stoic exterior, those who
know him well describe him as fiercely loyal to his
family and deeply protective of his people. He like many
in his role is rushing to do as much as he can within the
family before he must step down.
Lady Rhiannon Phoenix
Lady Rhiannon Phoenix is a woman of striking beauty
and grace, with long red hair that cascades down her
back in waves. Her bright green eyes seem to hold a
spark of fire within them, reflecting her fierce
determination and passion. Despite her gentle and
caring nature, she is a skilled combatant with the ability
to hold her own in battle.
Rhiannon’s combat style is elegant and calculated, a
reflection of her upbringing in a family of skilled battle
mages. She wields a slender, yet deadly, sword with
precision and fluidity, dancing around her opponents
and striking with deadly accuracy. Her movements are
graceful and measured, belying the strength and power
that she possesses.
In addition to her combat abilities, Lady Rhiannon
also possesses a talent for healing magic. She can
quickly mend wounds and cure ailments, bringing
comfort to those in need. Her compassion and empathy
for others make her a beloved member of the Phoenix
family, and a respected figure in the wider community.
As the wife of Lord Bryan Phoenix, Rhiannon is an
important figure in the family, balancing her husband’s
fierce determination with her own gentle nature.
Together, they make a formidable team, leading the
Phoenix family with wisdom and compassion.
Rhys
Rhys Phoenix is the first son of Lord Bryan and Lady
Rhiannon Phoenix. He has inherited the signature red
hair and striking features of his family, as well as their
innate magical abilities. Unlike his siblings, Rhys has a
fierce passion for combat and has honed his skills to
become a formidable warrior.
Rhys is a natural leader and has created his own unit
within the family’s army, known as the Phoenix Spear.
The Phoenix Spear is composed of highly skilled
soldiers and mages who are all personally trained by
Rhys himself. They are known for their speed, precision,
and deadly accuracy with their flaming arrows.
Despite his love for combat, Rhys is also a strategic
thinker and is highly respected for his ability to make
quick decisions in the midst of battle. He is deeply
devoted to his family and will stop at nothing to protect
them and the people of the Phoenix lands.
Rhys is a complex character, often torn between his
duties as a warrior and his desire for peace. He
struggles with the madness that runs in his family,
fearing that he too will succumb to it one day. However,
he remains determined to make the most of his time
and to leave a lasting legacy for his family and his
people.
Gwynth
Gwyneth Phoenix, the second daughter of Lord Bryan
and Lady Rhiannon Phoenix, is a striking young woman
with an ethereal appearance. Unlike her siblings and
parents, Gwyneth was born with pure white hair that
cascades down her back in soft waves. Her striking
appearance has earned her many admirers, but she is
known to be fiercely independent and is not one to be
easily swayed by flattery or charm.
Gwyneth is a skilled archer and is known for her
precision with the bow. She spends many hours honing
her skills and is always looking for ways to improve her
aim and technique. In addition to her prowess with a
bow, Gwyneth has also developed a keen interest in
magic and has been studying the art under the tutelage
of her mother, Lady Rhiannon. Her studies have led her
to develop a unique talent for imbuing her arrows with
magical energy, allowing her to unleash devastating
attacks on her enemies.
Despite her exceptional abilities, Gwyneth is not one
to seek the spotlight. She is often quiet and reserved,
preferring to observe the world around her rather than
drawing attention to herself. This has earned her a
reputation as a bit of an enigma among those who know
her. Those who have taken the time to get to know her,
however, have found that she is a loyal friend and a
fierce ally, willing to do whatever it takes to protect
those she cares about.
The Phoenix family sees Gwyneth’s white hair as a
gift from their bloodline, as they believe that “the white
flame burns the hottest”. They view her hair as a sign of
great power and potential, and have invested much in
her education and training. Her white hair sets her apart
from the rest of her family, and many view her as a
symbol of hope and renewal for the Phoenix family.
Stormcrows
The second sub-family within House Phoenix is the
Stormcrows. They are known for their skills as
mounted archers and for their use of roc mounts. These
massive birds are magically imbued with flames,
making them appear as though they are engulfed in
flames as they swoop down upon their enemies. The
Stormcrows are often used as scouts and skirmishers,
darting in and out of enemy lines to wreak havoc and
sow chaos. Members of the Stormcrow family often
have tattoos of lightning bolts on their bodies, marking
them as members of the family.
Ashen Wings
The first sub-family within House Phoenix is known as
the Ashenwings. They are known for their mastery of
fire magic and are often employed as artillery in battle,
raining fiery death upon their enemies from a distance.
Members of the Ashenwing family are easily
recognizable by the intricate tattoos covering their
bodies, depicting flames and phoenixes in flight.
Ignis
The Phoenix capital of Ignis is an architectural wonder.
Nestled within the heart of a towering mountain, the city
exudes a majestic air that can be felt by anyone who
visits it. What sets Ignis apart from any other city is that
it is naturally warm, despite being located in one of the
coldest mountain regions of Curinar. This warmth is
generated by the heart of the mountain, which pulsates
with heat and spreads it throughout the city. The heat
can be felt in the walls, the streets, and even in the air. It
is as if the city is alive, breathing warmth and life into its
inhabitants.
The city’s stone is almost entirely black, made from
volcanic rock. The dark stone contrasts with the warm
golden flames that are present everywhere in Ignis,
from the torches that line the streets to the great
hearths in the public squares. The buildings themselves
are grand, with soaring arches, sweeping staircases,
and intricate carvings. The roofs are made of red and
gold tiles, shimmering in the light of the sun or the glow
of the flames.
The city is divided into several districts, each with its
own unique architecture and purpose. The marketplace
is a bustling hub of activity, with merchants selling all
manner of goods, from exotic spices to fine silks. The
residential district is quieter, with homes made of the
same black stone as the rest of the city. The public
squares are grand and open, with fountains, sculptures,
and benches for people to relax and enjoy the warmth of
the city.
Overall, Ignis is a city that embodies the Phoenix
family’s fiery spirit and their connection to the land.
House Stagwell
Carimitas Notes
As I delve deeper into the history of House Stagwell, I
have discovered that their true prowess lies in
horsemanship. They are masters of the equine arts,
perhaps even more so than the knights of the ancient
House Gryphon of old. The Stagwells have a deep
connection with their steeds, and they have been known
to breed horses of great size and strength.
Their lands are mostly plains, and they take full
advantage of the open spaces to train their cavalry. The
Stagwells are also heavily religious, and their beliefs are
tied closely to nature and the land. They believe that the
gods have given them the gift of the horse, and they
honor that gift with every ride.
Their capital city, known as Stag’s Rest, is a sprawling
metropolis that serves as a hub for trade and commerce.
The city is built around a central square, where the
Stagwells hold their religious ceremonies and festivals.
The buildings are made of stone, and are adorned with
intricate carvings and artwork that depict their devotion
to the horse.
One unique aspect of Stag’s Rest is the massive
stables that occupy a large portion of the city. These
stables house the finest horses in all of Curinar, and
they are cared for by skilled grooms and handlers. The
stables are also a popular tourist destination, as visitors
from all over the world come to see the magnificent
horses of the Stagwells.
Overall, House Stagwell is a fascinating group of
people with a rich history and unique culture. I look
forward to learning more about them as I continue my
research.
The House of Horsmen
House Stagwell is a tightly knit community with a strict
hierarchy. At the head of the house is Lord William
Stagwell, a devout follower of the Stag God who leads
with an iron fist. He is a skilled horseman, having
trained in the art of horsemanship from a young age.
His wife, Lady Catherine Stagwell, is a renowned healer
and a beloved member of the community.
Under Lord William’s leadership, the House has
achieved many great feats. First, they have bred some of
the finest horses in the land, known for their speed and
agility. Second, they have built a grand cathedral in
honor of the Stag God, where pilgrims from all over the
land come to worship. Finally, they have established a
network of trade routes that has brought great
prosperity to their lands from their great port city of
Cathala.
Sir Ewan Stagwell
Sir Ewan Stagwell is the eldest son of the ruling
Stagwell family. He is a man of great stature, standing
at over 6 feet tall with broad shoulders and a muscular
build, a testament to his skill as a master horseman. His
hair is dark brown and often swept back in a loose
ponytail, and his beard is thick and well-groomed. His
piercing green eyes are said to have an almost
supernatural intensity to them.
Ewan is known to be a devout follower of the Stag
God, and has spent much of his life studying the holy
texts and leading prayers at the family’s private shrine.
He takes his responsibilities as the heir to the Stagwell
lands very seriously, and is known to be a fair and just
leader, always seeking the best interests of his people.
Despite his devoutness, Ewan is also a skilled
warrior, trained in the art of the sword and lance. He
has led several successful campaigns against
neighboring houses, expanding Stagwell’s influence and
securing the loyalty of nearby lords. His martial prowess
has also been tested in tournaments, where he has often
emerged victorious.
Ewan is married to Lady Brianna, a woman of grace
and beauty. She is renowned for her kindness and her
charitable work, often tending to the sick and needy in
the local villages. Together, Ewan and Brianna have
three children, two sons and a daughter, all of whom
show great promise in following in their father’s
footsteps.
Orlin Stagwel
Orlin Stagwell is a man of the sea, born to the Stagwell
family but with a passion for maritime adventure. While
his older brother, Sir Ewan, focuses on the family’s
military legacy, Orlin has little interest in the battles
fought on land. He is tall and lean, with tanned skin and
a bright smile that seems to light up the room. His seagreen eyes twinkle with mischief and he speaks with a
smooth, melodic voice that is almost hypnotic.
Orlin’s hair is a deep chestnut brown, long and wavy,
often tied back with a simple leather cord. He wears the
colors of the Stagwell family, but with a nautical flair his doublet and breeches are tailored to allow for easy
movement on the deck of a ship, and his boots are
sturdy and waterproof. Orlin always wears a necklace of
carved whalebone beads, a reminder of his love for the
ocean.
Despite his lack of interest in land-based battles, Orlin
is an accomplished sailor and naval commander. He has
led numerous successful expeditions, both for trade and
exploration, and his ships are the fastest and most
seaworthy in the Stagwell fleet. He is also a gifted
strategist, with a keen eye for detail and an ability to
quickly assess the strengths and weaknesses of his
opponents.
While Orlin’s pursuits may seem at odds with his
family’s history, he is fiercely loyal to his House and will
defend it with his life. He believes that the sea holds the
key to the Stagwell’s future, and that by embracing their
naval traditions they can secure their place in the world
for generations to come.
Blackmane
The Blackmane family is one of the most prominent
Stagwell. They are known throughout Curinar as some
of the best breeders and trainers of warhorses. The
family takes great pride in their horsemanship skills and
often participate in jousting tournaments and races.
The current head of the Blackmane family is Lady
Arianne Blackmane, a fierce and ambitious woman with
a sharp mind for business. She inherited the family’s
stables from her father and has expanded it into a
lucrative business, providing warhorses not only to the
Stagwells but to other houses throughout Curinar as
well.
The Blackmane stables are located just outside of the
Stagwell’s main keep and are sprawling, with a variety
of breeds and types of horses. Lady Arianne takes great
care in breeding and training her horses, often spending
long hours in the stables herself.
The Blackmane horses are known for their
endurance and speed, and are often used in cavalry
charges during battle. Lady Arianne is fiercely
protective of her horses and will go to great lengths to
ensure their safety.
Despite their focus on horses, the Blackmanes are
not solely dedicated to breeding and training them.
They are also skilled fighters, with Lady Arianne herself
being a skilled swordswoman. The family is loyal to the
Stagwells and will fight fiercely for their house and their
horses.
Overall, the Blackmane family is a proud and
determined subfamily of House Stagwell, known for
their horsemanship skills and their dedication to their
horses.
Dawnriders
The Dawnrider family of House Stagwell is a proud and
ancient lineage known for their exceptional
horsemanship and their devotion to the Old Gods. They
are often called upon to lead the House’s cavalry in
times of war and are known for their bravery and skill in
battle.
The Dawnriders have pale skin, blonde hair, and
striking blue eyes that seem to shimmer in the sunlight.
They are tall and lean, with muscular builds and sharp
features. They often wear light armor and favor spears
and lances as their weapons of choice.
The family is led by Lord Torin Dawnrider, a stern
and honorable man who commands the respect of his
kin and the other houses of Curinar. He is known for his
wisdom and his unshakable faith in the Old Gods. His
wife, Lady Elanis Dawnrider,
The Dawnriders are also known for their breeding
program, which focuses on producing the best
warhorses in the land. They have perfected the art of
horse breeding over generations and their mounts are
highly sought after by knights and warriors across the
realm. The Dawnriders also take great pride in their
horse racing tradition, which is held annually and draws
competitors from all over the continent.
In addition to their equestrian pursuits, the
Dawnriders are also accomplished musicians and poets,
and their halls are often filled with the sounds of song
and verse. They have a deep love for nature and the
outdoors, and are often seen riding through the fields
and forests of their lands, hunting game and
communing with the spirits of the land.
Silvermane
The Silvermane family was once one of the most
prominent subfamilies within House Stagwell, but now
they are a shadow of their former glory. Once wealthy
and influential, they now struggle to maintain their
status, and their once-great estate now lies in disrepair.
The family has fallen on hard times, and many of its
members have turned to desperate measures to keep up
appearances. Despite their struggles, they refuse to
relinquish their position within the house, clinging to
their fading status with stubborn pride.
Darilof
Carimitas Notes
I have delved into the legends of the Dwarves, and their
history is one of great rises and falls. It is said that they
were created by the god of the forge, and were blessed
with an unyielding will and an insatiable thirst for
knowledge.
For centuries, the Dwarves thrived, building
magnificent cities and crafting the finest weapons and
armor in the world. Their vast underground halls were
filled with wonders beyond measure, and their wealth
was the envy of all who knew of them.
However, their fortunes began to turn when they dug
too deep, past what they called “The Gray Stone.” It is
said that this unleashed a terrible curse upon them, and
since then, their decline has been steady and
unrelenting.
Despite this, the Dwarves remain a proud and
resilient people, and their kingdom of Darilof still stands
as a testament to their strength and perseverance. It is
my hope that they will find a way to overcome the curse
of the Gray Stone and reclaim their former glory.
The land of Dwarves
The Royal Family
The Royal family of Darilof is known as the Stoneheart
clan. Its current head is King Thrain Stoneheart, a wise
and just ruler who has managed to keep the nation
united despite the many challenges it has faced. He is
known for his strong leadership, his unwavering
commitment to his people, and his deep respect for
tradition and dwarven culture.
Under his reign, the dwarven nation has made great
strides in the field of mining, developing new techniques
and technologies that have allowed them to extract
resources more efficiently and safely than ever before.
Thrain has also worked hard to forge strong alliances
with neighboring nations and to maintain a position of
neutrality in conflicts that do not directly threaten
Darilof.
Despite his successes, however, Thrain has not been
without his failures. Many dwarves criticize him for
being too cautious, arguing that he should be more
aggressive in his pursuit of new territories and
resources. There are also those who feel that he has not
done enough to address the declining birth rate among
the dwarven population, which threatens the long-term
survival of the nation.
Thrain is married to Queen Helga Stoneheart, who is
known for her keen intelligence and her expertise in
economics and finance. Together, they have overseen
the development of a strong and stable economy that
has weathered many storms over the years. They have
three children, all of whom have been raised to
understand their responsibilities as members of the
royal family and as leaders in their own right.
The Stoneheart clan is held in high esteem by the
people of Darilof, who see them as symbols of the
nation’s strength and resilience. However, there are
also those who worry that the royal family has become
too disconnected from the needs and concerns of
ordinary dwarves, and that they may be out of touch
with the challenges facing the nation in the years to
come.
The Assembly
The government of Darilof is a complex and
overburdened bureaucratic system that can be a
nightmare to navigate for even the most skilled and
patient individuals. The nation is divided into multiple
districts and regions, each with their own set of laws
and regulations that must be followed. The government
is headed by a council of officials who are responsible
for making decisions on behalf of the nation.
The system is slow-moving and bogged down by
endless paperwork and red tape. The council is often at
odds with one another, each pushing their own agendas
and interests, making it difficult for any meaningful
progress to be made. It’s not uncommon for paperwork
to be lost or misplaced, leading to long delays and
frustrations for those seeking help or guidance.
While the government has been successful in some
regards, such as maintaining a stable economy and
infrastructure, it has also been plagued by failures.
Corruption and nepotism are rampant, and many
officials are more concerned with advancing their own
careers and interests than serving the needs of the
people. As a result, many of the nation’s citizens have
lost faith in the government, leading to widespread
discontent and unrest.
Terraolsen
Terraolsen, the overcity of Darilof, is a sight to behold.
Built entirely of dark grey granite, it rises up from the
surrounding landscape in a series of tiers and terraces,
each one crammed with buildings, gardens, and
monuments. The architecture is distinctly dwarven, with
thick, sturdy walls and ornate carvings covering every
available surface. The city is sprawling, with a network
of winding streets and alleyways that can be dizzying for
the uninitiated.
The center of Terraolsen is dominated by the Royal
Palace, a massive fortress that serves as the home of
the ruling family of Darilof. The palace is made up of
several interconnected buildings, each one more
opulent than the last. It boasts massive halls, ornate
thrones, and a treasury that is said to hold more wealth
than any other nation in the world.
Surrounding the palace are the administrative buildings
of the government, which are a labyrinth of offices,
archives, and bureaus. The bureaucracy of Darilof is
legendary for its complexity and inefficiency, and
navigating the maze of regulations and red tape can be a
daunting task for even the most experienced visitor.
Despite the overcity’s impressive size and grandeur, it
is not without its problems. The air is thick with the soot
and smoke of the forges and factories that keep the
city’s economy humming. The noise of machinery and
the constant clanging of hammers can be heard at all
hours of the day and night. The streets are crowded and
chaotic, with vendors hawking their wares from every
corner.
But for all its flaws, Terraolsen is a testament to the
ingenuity and perseverance of the dwarves of Darilof. It
stands as a shining example of their skill and
craftsmanship, and a symbol of the power and wealth of
their nation.
The Underkingdom
The underkingdom of Darilof is a vast and intricate
network of tunnels and underground settlements that
span for thousands of miles beneath the surface of the
earth. It is home to the majority of the dwarf population,
who have adapted to the harsh conditions and constant
darkness of the underground.
The underkingdom is divided into two major
settlements, each ruled by a powerful clan leader. The
settlements are connected by a network of tunnels, and
each one serves as a hub for the outposts and
checkpoints that dot the underground landscape.
The outposts are small settlements that serve as rest
stops for travelers and merchants, as well as military
garrisons to defend the tunnels from threats. They are
usually built around large underground lakes or rivers,
where the dwarves can find fresh water and fish.
The checkpoints are fortified gates that regulate
traffic in and out of the underground settlements. They
are manned by well-trained guards who check the
identities and cargo of anyone passing through.
The most impressive feature of the underkingdom is
the massive gate to the north that blocks off the old
kingdom. This gate is the largest ever built by the
dwarves, and is said to be enchanted to withstand even
the strongest attacks.
Despite the impressive infrastructure and defenses of
the underkingdom, it is a harsh and unforgiving place to
live. The constant darkness, lack of sunlight, and
cramped living spaces take a toll on the mental and
physical health of the dwarves who call it home.
The Gray Stone
“Listen ye faithful! Hearken to the tale of our ancestors,
who dug too deep and unearthed a curse that befell us
all. Our proud race, once mighty and prosperous, was
struck down by the wrath of the divine. The Gray Stone,
a symbol of our arrogance, unleashed upon us a
pestilence that turned us into beasts, monstrous and
wretched.
But fear not, for we have learned from our mistakes.
We have repented for our sins and turned to the gods
for salvation. We have sealed off the cursed depths and
vowed never again to dig beyond our means. Our
penance is our endurance, and we shall carry on,
steadfast in our faith and humility.
Let the Gray Stone be a reminder of our past, a
warning to future generations. Let us not forget the
consequences of our greed and hubris, and instead
strive for piety and reverence. For only through our
devotion can we overcome the trials that await us in this
mortal world.”
Gray Stone Infection
I write this as the caution for my peers, we have sealed
off the last of the ancient pathways. The king has
permitted by to write my research for those who may
one day need this knowledge
After brief contact with the Grayed Stone a creature
might initially show no side effects, but unless they are
held under observation for 3 weeks they should be
treated as infected.
The first symptoms will begin in that time with a
aversion to heat and a feeling of a burning sensation
throughout the infected individuals body. Mentally they
will be driven to isolate themselves away from friends,
family and help.
Soon after the first symptoms begin within 72 hours,
their skin begins to blister and peel away, revealing
twisted and gnarled flesh beneath. Limbs grow
grotesquely long and twisted, ending in razor-sharp
claws capable of tearing through stone and metal alike.
The infected eyes turn a sickly yellow-green and become
sunken into their skull, and their mouth widens into a
grotesque maw full of jagged teeth capable of tearing
flesh from bone.
Those infected by the curse become mindless beasts,
driven only by a thirst for violence. They are known to
hunt in packs, attacking anything that moves and
tearing it apart with their razor-sharp claws and teeth.
Any form of large wound will run the risk of infection of
a victim of the infected, more worryingly they do not
seem to starve, or breath despite not being uneffected
by our deterrents towards undead
Despite the best efforts of the Dwarven healers and
scientists, no cure for the Gray Stone affliction has been
found.
Grond
Carimitas Notes
I have traveled to the nation of Grond, a land filled with
tribes of orcs, gnolls, lizardfolk, and minotaurs. The very
sight of these creatures disgusts me, with their brutish
behavior and lack of civilization. However, I must admit,
their tribal society is impressive in its own right.
Each tribe operates independently, but they are all
connected through a loose confederation. They have no
central government, but instead, their leaders meet to
discuss matters that concern the entire nation. It’s a
chaotic and unpredictable system, but it works for them.
One thing is for certain, though, and that is their unity
when threatened. I have heard stories of outsiders
attempting to take over their lands or even engaging in
conflict with a single tribe. These foolish outsiders
quickly learned that such actions would cause the tribes
to unite into a deadly force of violence. The tribal people
of Grond may not have the sophisticated weapons and
armor of other nations, but they are fierce and skilled
warriors, and they have a deep connection with the land
they inhabit.
Overall, I find myself repulsed by their society, but I
cannot deny their strength and tenacity. One would be
wise to avoid any conflict with these tribal people, as the
consequences could be dire.
Grumlesh The Great Orc
One notable figure of Grond is Grumelsh the Wise, an
Orc renowned for his exceptional intellect and
shrewdness. He is feared and respected by many, as his
cleverness is matched only by his ruthlessness. Despite
his formidable reputation, Grumelsh is a strong
advocate for isolationism, believing that his nation’s
strength lies in their ability to remain self-sufficient and
independent. He is known to have a powerful influence
over the other tribal leaders, who have been known to
heed his warnings and advice. Though he has a
reputation for being cunning and unpredictable,
Grumelsh is respected as a figure of great wisdom and
insight, and his opinions are often sought after in
matters of war, diplomacy, and strategy.
Meseron
Carimitas Notes
I have just returned from the most magnificent feast in
Meseron, and it was unlike anything I’ve ever
experienced before. The people here are a proud and
hearty folk, with a love of battle and the sea coursing
through their veins. The feast was filled with songs and
stories of their great warriors and explorers, and the
food and drink were plentiful.
It’s clear that Meseron is a nation of people who value
strength and bravery above all else. But I also noticed a
deep respect for knowledge and wisdom, especially in
the tales they tell of their great scholars and sages. I
was fortunate enough to speak with one of these wise
men, and he shared with me his thoughts on the
importance of education and learning in their society.
Despite their fierce reputation, I found the people of
Meseron to be warm and welcoming, always eager to
share their culture and history with outsiders. But make
no mistake, they are not to be underestimated. Their
warriors are some of the most skilled I have ever seen,
and I can’t help but feel a sense of awe and admiration
for their strength and bravery.
I look forward to continuing my studies of this
fascinating nation, and hope to learn more about their
customs, beliefs, and history.
Thradick
Thradick, the newly crowned monarch of Meseron, has
united all the great houses under one government to
form a new monarchy. He is known by three titles: “The
Uniter,” “The Conqueror,” and “The Iron King.”
Thradick’s reign has been marked by a swift and
decisive consolidation of power. He has quelled
rebellions and executed traitors, earning him the
nickname “The Iron King” for his iron-fisted rule. His
military conquests have expanded the nation’s territory,
and he is widely regarded as “The Conqueror” for his
successful campaigns.
Despite his reputation for brutality, Thradick is also
credited with bringing a degree of stability and
prosperity to Meseron. He has implemented new laws
and policies to improve the lives of his subjects, such as
investing in infrastructure projects and promoting trade
with neighboring nations.
However, Thradick’s rule is not without its detractors.
Some criticize his heavy-handed tactics and
authoritarian tendencies, and there are whispers of
dissent and rebellion brewing in the far-flung corners of
the kingdom. Only time will tell if Thradick’s iron grip
on power will hold, or if his regime will crumble under
the weight of its own oppression.
House Bjornsson
House Bjornsson is a noble family within the kingdom
of Meseron. They are known for their fierce and skilled
warriors, who are often hired as mercenaries by other
nations. The family’s ancestral home is a grand fortress
known as Bjorn’s Keep, located on a rocky outcropping
overlooking the sea.
The family is led by Jarl Bjorn Bjornsson, a large and
imposing man who has earned a reputation as a
fearsome warrior in his own right. He is known to be a
shrewd tactician and a fair leader, with a deep respect
for the traditions and customs of his people.
House Bjornsson’s sigil is a black bear on a field of
gold, symbolizing the strength and ferocity of the
family’s warriors. They are also known for their skill in
shipbuilding and navigation, with many members of the
family serving as captains of their own longships.
Despite their martial prowess, House Bjornsson also
values education and learning, with many of their
members pursuing scholarly pursuits in addition to
their martial training. The family maintains a large
library within Bjorn’s Keep, which is said to contain
ancient tomes and scrolls from across the known world.
Overall, House Bjornsson is a powerful and respected
family within the kingdom of Meseron, known for their
strength, skill, and deep commitment to their people
and their traditions.
House Hrafnsson
House Hrafnsson is one of the four great houses of
Meseron, known for their expertise in shipbuilding and
naval warfare. They are considered to be the second
most powerful house after House Bjornsson.
The members of House Hrafnsson are known for
their dark hair and eyes, and are often described as
having a fierce and cunning demeanor. They are deeply
connected to the sea and are expert sailors, with their
ships being some of the fastest and most maneuverable
in all of Meseron.
In times of war, House Hrafnsson is responsible for
defending the coasts and the nation’s sea borders. They
are skilled in naval warfare, and their ships are often
equipped with ballistae, catapults, and other weapons to
help them dominate the seas.
The Hrafnsson family is led by the current lord, Erik
Hrafnsson, who is known for his shrewd political
maneuvering and his tactical brilliance on the
battlefield. Under his leadership, House Hrafnsson has
become a formidable force in the Meseronian navy, and
their ships are feared by enemies and respected by
allies depending on the season of raiding.
Despite their martial prowess, House Hrafnsson is
also known for their love of music and poetry. They are
patrons of the arts and are known to host elaborate
feasts and celebrations in honor of their victories or
special occasions.
House Gunnarsdottir
House Gunnarsdottiris a prestigious land-based house
within the Meseron kingdom, known for their fierce
warriors and their affinity for bears. Their ancestral
lands are located in the northern mountains, where they
have trained their infantry to be among the most skilled
in the kingdom. The House’s army boasts a special
battalion known as “The Great Bear,” which consists of
highly trained soldiers who wear bear pelts and are
known for their ferocity in battle.
In addition to their military prowess, House
Gunnarsdottir is also renowned for their skill in crafting
weapons and armor. They have a long tradition of
forging some of the finest swords, axes, and shields in
the kingdom, often incorporating bear motifs and
decorations into their designs.
Despite their reputation as fearsome warriors, House
Gunnarsdottir is also known for their strong sense of
honor and loyalty. They have a deep respect for the
traditions and customs of their people, and they take
great pride in upholding the values of their house.
However, due to their lack of naval power, House
Gunnarsdottir has limited influence in Meseron’s
maritime affairs. They have instead focused their efforts
on strengthening their hold on their mountainous lands
and protecting their people from external threats.
House Sigurdsson
House Sigurdsson is a prestigious and influential house
in the Meseron kingdom. They are known for their
mastery of archery and skilled horseback riders. The
Sigurdssons are also renowned for their bravery in
battle and their unwavering loyalty to the kingdom.
Their lands are situated in the northern part of the
kingdom and are known for their harsh winters and
rugged terrain. Despite these challenges, House
Sigurdsson has thrived and their lands are rich in
natural resources, particularly timber and furs.
The current head of the house is Jarl Torbjorn
Sigurdsson, a wise and respected leader who has led
his people through many challenges. He is often called
upon to advise the king on matters of war and
diplomacy.
House Sigurdsson’s military forces are formidable,
with skilled archers and fierce cavalry. They are
particularly known for their elite unit of horse archers,
who can rain arrows down on their enemies from a
distance while moving at high speeds.
Their infantry also has a battalion known as “The
Wolfpack,” a group of highly trained soldiers who
operate as a cohesive unit, striking at the enemy with
precision and ferocity. They are feared on the battlefield
for their tenacity and skill.
In addition to their military prowess, House
Sigurdsson is also known for their skilled craftsmen,
who produce some of the finest weapons and armor in
the kingdom. They are also skilled traders, with a
network of trade routes that span across the kingdom
and beyond.
House Mórrison
House Mórrison is the fourth and most infamous house
of Meseron. They are known for their dabbling in dark
magic and have often been accused of dabbling in
necromancy and demonology. The house has a
reputation for being mysterious and reclusive, and few
have been allowed within their stronghold.
The family is led by the enigmatic and elusive Lady
Katriana Mórrison, who is rumored to be a powerful
sorceress. Her followers, known as the “Black Coven,”
are fiercely loyal to her and have been known to carry
out her will without question. The house’s power is
mainly derived from their wealth, which is said to be the
result of their involvement in the black market and illicit
trade.
Due to their reputation, House Mórrison is viewed
with suspicion and mistrust by the other houses of
Meseron. Many believe that they are up to no good and
are secretly plotting to overthrow the monarchy. The
house itself is rumored to be guarded by demons and
undead creatures, making it nearly impossible to
invade. Their reputation for dark magic has made them
an outcast among the other noble houses, and they are
often shunned from important events and gatherings.
Teleram
Carimitas Notes
I have traveled to the nation of Telram, a kingdom that
has grown powerful in a short amount of time. Their
capital city, which I have had the opportunity to visit, is
an endless and expanding behemoth that seems to
require a majority of the country’s resources. It is an
impressive sight, to be sure, but I cannot help but feel
concerned for the rest of the country.
While the city may be the heart of their kingdom, it
appears that the smaller villages and forts that make up
the rest of Telram are struggling. It is clear that the
growth and prosperity of the capital has come at a cost
to those on the outskirts of the kingdom.
Despite this, Telram is known for being the fastest
growing nation in terms of technology, and it shows in
the advancements that can be seen throughout the
capital city. The people here are proud of their
accomplishments and their emperor, who rules over the
kingdom with a firm hand.
As an outsider, I cannot help but feel a sense of
unease in Telram. The focus on the capital city and the
fast pace of progress seems to come at the cost of the
people living outside its walls. But perhaps there is
more to this kingdom than what meets the eye, and I
will continue to explore and learn more during my time
here.
Ruled By One
The government of Telram is a monarchy ruled by an
emperor. The emperor has absolute power over the
country and its people, and is advised by a council of
nobles from various regions of the kingdom. The
council is responsible for managing the daily affairs of
the kingdom, but the emperor has the final say in all
matters.
Telram’s government relies heavily on diplomacy to
maintain its power and influence. The emperor
understands the importance of forming alliances with
neighboring countries and maintaining good relations
with powerful kingdoms. However, the country also has
a strong military presence, with a well-trained and
equipped army that is constantly expanding and
improving with the latest technology.
Overall, the government of Telram is focused on
expanding the influence and power of the kingdom
through both diplomacy and warfare, with the emperor
serving as the driving force behind the country’s
ambitions.
All Signs point that Teleram is readying itself for the
next great war.
The Emperor
Emperor Lucien VI is a man of average height, standing
at around 5’9”, with a lean build and a well-groomed
beard that is streaked with gray. He has piercing blue
eyes that seem to hold a sense of intelligence and
wisdom beyond his years, and a sharp nose that gives
him an air of authority. His hair is jet black and styled in
a short, practical cut that frames his face.
Despite his sharp features, Lucien VI carries himself
with a calm and collected demeanor, never seeming to
lose his composure even in the most stressful of
situations. He is known for being an incredibly
intelligent ruler, with a keen mind for strategy and a
deep understanding of the workings of his kingdom. He
is a shrewd negotiator, and is often able to achieve his
goals through diplomacy rather than force.
Lucien VI is also a deeply religious man, and is a
devout follower of the old faith of Teleram He can often
be found attending services and making offerings at the
grand cathedral in the heart of the capital city. He is a
firm believer in the importance of upholding traditional
values and customs.
Despite his many strengths, however, Lucien VI is not
without his flaws. He can be stubborn at times, and is
known for being somewhat aloof and distant from those
around him. He also has a tendency to hold grudges,
and is not quick to forgive those who have wronged him
or his kingdom. Nonetheless, he is widely respected as
one of the greatest rulers in Telram’s history, and is
beloved by his people for his unwavering commitment
to their welfare.
Avenelle
The capital city of Teleram is called Avenelle, known as
the “City of Light” for its intricate network of lamp-lit
streets and towering spires that glimmer in the sunlight.
It is situated at the heart of the country, surrounded by
lush forests and rolling hills.
The city is divided into several distinct districts, each
with its own unique character and purpose. The Royal
District is home to the Emperor’s palace, a sprawling
complex of marble halls and manicured gardens, as well
as the grandiose estates of the nobility. The bustling
Market District is filled with bustling shops and
merchants, offering everything from rare spices and
silks to fine wines and jewelry.
The Scholar’s Quarter is where the country’s
brightest minds gather, with sprawling libraries and
academies dedicated to science, magic, and the arts.
The district is lined with ancient stone buildings
adorned with intricate carvings and murals, and is filled
with the sounds of scholars discussing the latest
theories and discoveries.
The Industrial District, on the outskirts of the city, is a
hive of activity with factories, mills, and foundries
belching smoke into the sky. Here, craftsmen and
laborers work tirelessly to produce the goods that fuel
the kingdom’s economy, from weapons and armor to
textiles and machinery.
The city’s architecture is a mix of styles, with grand
Gothic cathedrals towering alongside ornate
Renaissance palaces and sleek Art Nouveau buildings.
The streets are lined with trees and flower beds, and the
air is filled with the sound of music and the smell of
baking bread.
Avenelle is a city of contrasts, where poverty and
luxury exist side by side, and where tradition and
progress collide. But despite its flaws and challenges, it
remains the beating heart of Teleram, a symbol of the
kingdom’s wealth, power, and beauty.
Religions
The Old Gods
Æsir
The AllFather Odin
As I delve deeper into the ancient texts of the Æsir
pantheon, I cannot help but be fascinated by the god
Odin. Also known as the Allfather, he is the ruler of the
gods and the god of wisdom, war, poetry, and magic.
According to legend, Odin is often depicted as an
older man with a long beard and a wide-brimmed hat,
and he rides an eight-legged horse named Sleipnir. He
is a warrior god, who is fiercely protective of his
followers and will go to any lengths to defend them. In
battle, he is often depicted wielding a spear or sword
and wearing armor.
Furthermore, Odin is also known as the god of poetry
and inspiration. It is believed that he can bestow gifts of
inspiration and insight upon his followers, allowing
them to create works of art or songs that inspire and
uplift others. He is also a patron of bards and other
creative types.
From my research, it appears that Odin is a powerful
deity who bestows his followers with magic, wisdom,
and strength in battle. He is also associated with
specific domains, such as knowledge, war, and trickery.
As I continue to gather information about the Æsir
pantheon, I am eager to learn more about this complex
and multifaceted god. I am particularly interested in
uncovering any information about the powerful spells he
is rumored to have at his disposal, such as divination
magic to see into the future or necromancy magic to
raise the dead. It is also said that Odin possesses
powerful artifacts, such as the magical spear Gungnir or
the Valknut symbol that represents his power over life
and death.
I look forward to uncovering more information about
him and the other gods of the Æsir pantheon in my
future research.
Thor God of Thunder
As I delve into the ancient texts of the pantheon of the
Æsir , I have come across a fascinating deity known as
Thor, the god of thunder. He is said to be the son of the
ruler of the gods and the earth goddess, and is often
depicted as a mighty warrior with flowing red hair and a
fierce expression.
Thor is a powerful deity who bestows his followers
with strength, courage, and lightning-based magic. He is
associated with specific domains, such as war, tempest,
and protection.
According to legend, Thor wields the mighty hammer,
which can summon lightning and is said to be one of the
most powerful weapons in the cosmos. He is often
depicted wearing a belt that enhances his strength and
carrying a pair of magical gauntlets that allow him to
grip his hammer with ease.
As the god of thunder, Thor is associated with storms,
lightning, and thunder. It is believed that he can call
upon these forces of nature to aid him in battle or to
strike down his enemies.
Furthermore, Thor is also known as a protector of
mankind, and it is said that he travels across the nine
worlds in his chariot drawn by two goats, defending his
followers from harm.
From my research, it appears that Thor is a
formidable opponent and a fierce defender of his
followers. He is a symbol of strength and courage, and
his hammer is a powerful symbol of his might and
authority.
Freya
In my research of the ancient deities of the Æsir, I have
come across a fascinating figure known as Freya, the
goddess of love and war. She is said to be a powerful
goddess who is both beautiful and cunning.
Freya is often depicted as a fierce warrior, wielding a
sword and shield with great skill. She is also associated
with magic, particularly with the practice of seidr, a
form of shamanism that was popular in the North.
According to legend, Freya is the daughter of the sea
god and the goddess of the earth, and is the sister of the
god of thunder. She is known for her beauty, and it is
said that she can entrance both gods and mortals with
her charms.
As the goddess of love, Freya is associated with
fertility and the cycles of life. She is also known as a
protector of women and children.
Furthermore, Freya is also a warrior goddess, and it
is said that she rides into battle with her shieldmaidens,
the Valkyries, to gather the souls of fallen warriors.
From my research, it appears that Freya is a complex
goddess who embodies both the beauty and the
savagery of the Æsir. Her powers of love and war make
her a formidable opponent and a powerful ally.
Loki
In my exploration of the ancient deities of the North, I
have come across a fascinating and complex figure
known as Loki, the trickster god. He is a figure who
embodies both cunning and chaos, and his actions are
often unpredictable.
Loki is often depicted as a shapeshifter, able to take
on different forms at will. He is also associated with fire
and magic, and it is said that he possesses powerful
abilities of deception and illusion..
According to legend, Loki is the son of two giants, but
was adopted by the god of thunder as his own brother.
He is known for his mischievous antics and his ability to
outwit even the most powerful gods.
However, Loki’s actions are not always benign, and he
is also associated with chaos and destruction. In some
tales, his actions lead to catastrophic events, such as the
death of the god of light or the end of the world.
From my research, it appears that Loki is a complex
and enigmatic figure, embodying both the light and dark
aspects of the North. His abilities of deception and
illusion make him a powerful ally, but his chaotic nature
also makes him a formidable opponent.
Hel
My exploration of ancient mythologies has brought me
to the goddess Hel, a figure associated with death and
the underworld. In many tales, Hel is depicted as a
fearsome figure, a bringer of doom and despair.
Hel is said to rule over the realm of the dead, where
she receives the souls of those who have passed on
from the mortal realm. She is often portrayed as a grim
figure, cold and distant, and her realm is said to be a
desolate and foreboding place.
According to legend, Hel is the daughter of two
powerful gods, but she is often portrayed as an outcast,
shunned by both mortals and deities alike. Despite her
isolation, she is a powerful figure, commanding the
respect and fear of all who know of her.
In some tales, Hel is depicted as a figure of great
power and cunning, able to outmaneuver even the most
skilled opponents. Her realm is said to be filled with
countless dangers and challenges, and only the bravest
and most skilled adventurers are able to navigate its
treacherous depths.
From my research, it appears that Hel is a figure of
great complexity and depth, embodying both the harsh
realities of death and the potential for new beginnings.
While her realm may be a place of darkness and
despair, it is also a place of potential, where new life
may arise from the ashes of the old.
As I continue my studies, I am filled with a sense of
both awe and trepidation at the thought of encountering
the goddess Hel and her realm of the dead. May my
research continue to yield new insights and knowledge
into this fascinating figure and the mythologies that
have shaped our world.
The Tapestry of the Winged Legion
“Today, I had the privilege of laying my eyes on a
wondrous tapestry, the likes of which I have never seen
before. As I entered the Great Hall of the Citadel, my
eyes were immediately drawn to a massive piece of art
hanging from the ceiling. It depicted a legion of
armored, winged women alongside glowing men,
marching towards an unseen foe with swords and
shields raised high.
The level of detail in this tapestry was breathtaking.
The women wore gleaming armor that shone like the
sun, and their wings were spread wide as if ready to
take flight at a moment’s notice. The men beside them
glowed with a fierce inner light, as if they were imbued
with some kind of divine power.
As I stood there, marveling at the tapestry, I couldn’t
help but wonder about the story behind it. Who were
these women and men, and what were they fighting for?
Were they mortals or something else entirely?
I approached the nearest guard and asked him about
the tapestry. He told me that it was a depiction of the
Winged Legion, a group of elite warriors who had
served the gods for centuries. The women were known
as the Valkyries, fierce fighters tasked with gathering
the souls of the fallen and bringing them to the afterlife.
The men were the Aasimar, beings of divine ancestry
who had pledged themselves to the service of the gods.
The guard went on to explain that the Winged Legion
had not been seen in many years, but their legend lived
on. It was said that they had fought in countless battles,
always emerging victorious no matter the odds against
them. Some believed that they still existed, waiting for
the day when they would be called upon to defend the
world once again.
As I gazed up at the tapestry once more, I felt a sense
of awe and wonder wash over me. The Winged Legion
may be nothing more than a legend, but their legacy
lives on in the hearts and minds of all who have heard of
their deeds.”
Ennead
Ra
As I delve deeper into the ancient religious beliefs of a
civilization long gone, I find myself fascinated by the
myths and legends surrounding Ra, the sun god. Ra
holds a place of great importance among the pantheon
of gods, revered for his power and ability to bring life to
all living things with his rays of light. His visage is often
depicted as a man with a head of a hawk or falcon,
bearing the sun disk atop his crown or hand.
However, my studies have also revealed a fascinating
conflict between Ra and Horus, the god of the sky and
kingship. According to legend, Horus was the son of Ra
and Isis, he coveted his fathers crown.
The conflict between Ra and Horus escalated to such
an extent that Horus eventually became the new king,
replacing Ra. This change of power caused a great
upheaval among the gods, as they were forced to pick
sides in the conflict. Some chose to remain loyal to Ra,
while others supported Horus, leading to a great war
among the gods.
Ra avoided the fate of many fathers of deific nature,
and defeated his son. In those lasts moments of the war
it was Anubis who would strike his son down.
Isis
As I continue my research on the various deities
worshiped by civilizations throughout history, I have
come across a fascinating figure known as Isis. This
deity is said to embody the domains of magic,
knowledge, healing, and justice, making him a powerful
and multifaceted god.
Isis is often depicted as a wise and learned figure,
with a blazing eyes and a staff imbued with magical
powers. Her vast knowledge and understanding of the
mystical arts have made him a patron of wizards,
sorcerers, and scholars alike. Her ability to heal the sick
and wounded has earned him the gratitude and
devotion of countless followers.
But perhaps Isis’ most notable quality is her
unwavering sense of justice. She is said to be a staunch
defender of the innocent and a fierce opponent of evil,
using his powers to dispense punishment to those who
would seek to harm others. Her sense of righteousness
has made him a symbol of hope and justice to many
who have suffered at the hands of the wicked.
Anubis
Today, I came across a fascinating deity named Anubis,
who is believed to be the god of the afterlife and death
itself. Anubis is a powerful and fearsome figure, often
depicted as a towering figure with a cloak made of
shadows and a scythe at his side.
According to legend, Anubis was once embroiled in a
bitter conflict with the rest of his pantheon. While his
fellow gods sought to grant their followers eternal life,
Anubis believed that death was a natural part of the
cycle of life and that to interfere with it was to upset the
balance of the universe.
As the war raged on, Anubis summoned an army of
undead creatures to fight on his behalf. The battle was
long and brutal, with both sides suffering heavy losses.
But in the end, Anubis emerged victorious, and the
other gods were forced to concede defeat.
Since that time, Anubis has been revered as a
powerful and influential deity, with control over the
afterlife and the power to decide the fate of souls. It is
said that those who please Anubis in life will be granted
a peaceful and prosperous afterlife, while those who
anger him will suffer eternal torment.
Despite his war with the others of his pantheon
Anubis retained old loyalty to Ra and would side with
him against Horus.
Horus
As I continue my research on ancient deities, I came
across the god Horus. Horus is a revered deity, known
for his strong connection to the sky and his depiction as
a falcon-headed god. He is often associated with
protection, kingship, and the sun.
However, my findings have revealed a disturbing tale
of Horus attempting to kill his own father, Ra.. Horus
believed that his father had not done enough to protect
the people of the world from danger and felt it was his
duty to take matters into his own hands.
Before Horus could carry out his final plan in the war,
he was confronted by Anubis,. Anubis, who was fiercely
loyal to Ra, saw through Horus’ intentions and saw him
as a threat to the balance of the world. In a fierce battle,
Anubis defeated Horus, striking him down with his
mighty blade.
It is said Horus survived his attack and fled to the
mortal realm to hide and wait to return to take his
fathers throne.
Sobek
As I delve deeper into my research on ancient deities, I
have come across Sobek, a revered god in many
cultures for his connection to the River of the Land and
his depiction as a crocodile-headed god. He is often
associated with fertility, protection, and power.
However, my findings have revealed a lesser-known
story of Sobek’s sacrifice for the betterment of mortals.
As the god of the River of the Land, Sobek held vast
knowledge and power, including the secrets of magic.
Yet, he believed that mortals deserved to have this
knowledge and power for themselves, so they could
better protect and govern themselves.
In an act of selflessness, Sobek gave up his life,
allowing his divine energy to be absorbed by the River of
the Land and spread throughout the world. This divine
energy carried with it the knowledge of magic and gave
mortals the power to wield it.
Though Sobek is no longer among the living, his
legacy lives on through the many people who have
learned to harness the power of magic. His story serves
as a reminder of the importance of selflessness and the
value of sacrificing for the greater good.
Pathas
Zues
I endlessly search for more knowledge of the Pathas
Panethon, the religion is that of the first men who came
to this world so little remains of that time that I wish to
learn.
I cannot help but ponder on the wonders of Zues, the
king of the gods. With his thunderbolts, he commands
the skies, and with his divine gaze, he watches over us
all.
Zues is often portrayed as a wise and just god, one
who values order and law. He protects the state and its
citizens, and his temple was of myth to take up a entire
mountain it would have been a symbol of his power and
authority. His eagle, a sacred animal, is a symbol of his
sovereignty.
As a god of the sky and lightning, Zues is often
associated with the forces of nature. He is also a god of
oaths and treaties, and his name is invoked in solemn
ceremonies to ensure their observance.
But perhaps what I find most intriguing about Zues is
his connection to wisdom. He is often depicted with a
beard, a symbol of his maturity and experience, and his
temple was home to the Sibylline Books, ancient texts
said to contain prophecies and divine knowledge.
Overall, Zues is a fascinating deity, one whose power
and wisdom inspire awe and reverence. I look forward
to delving deeper into his myths and legends, and
uncovering the secrets of his divine nature.
Hera
As I delved into the ancient texts, I uncovered a
powerful goddess named Hera . She was said to be the
queen of the gods and held domain over love, marriage,
and childbirth. Her beauty was said to be unparalleled,
and her wisdom unmatched.
It was said that Hera possessed immense power, able
to control the very winds and storms themselves. Many
believed that she could manipulate fate and change the
course of destinies with a single word. Her wrath was
feared by many, as she would bring down her
vengeance upon those who dared to cross her.
But Hera was also known for her compassion and
kindness, often granting blessings to those in need.
Many would call upon her for guidance and protection
during times of war and conflict. Her presence could
inspire armies to victory and grant peace to the most
turbulent of lands.
As I studied her tales and legends, I couldn’t help but
wonder what other secrets and powers lay hidden
within her divine being. Perhaps there were more
aspects to her than what had been recorded, waiting to
be discovered by those brave enough to seek them out.
Poseidon
As I traveled through the land of Mythos, I came across
tales of the great god Poseidon . He was said to be the
ruler of the seas and oceans, with the power to control
the tides and summon fierce storms. His trident, a
weapon forged from the depths of the ocean, was said to
be able to split mountains and shake the earth.
Poseidon was a mercurial deity, both feared and
revered by those who sailed the vast seas of Mythos.
Some whispered that he could be cruel and capricious,
unleashing devastating tempests on unwary ships and
casting them into the abyssal depths. Others spoke of
his benevolence, recounting tales of sailors who prayed
to him in times of peril and were granted safe passage
through treacherous waters.
Despite his watery realm, Poseidon was not limited to
the seas alone. He was said to hold sway over all bodies
of water, from the mightiest rivers to the humblest
springs. It was believed that he could appear in any
form he chose, be it a raging tidal wave or a gentle
stream, and that his power was unmatched by any other
deity in the pantheon.
As I delved deeper into the lore of Poseidon , I
couldn’t help but feel a sense of awe and reverence for
this enigmatic god. His domain may have been the everchanging oceans and the depths of the earth, but his
influence extended far beyond, touching the lives of all
who depended on the waters for their livelihood and
survival.
Ares
As I journey through the world, I am constantly
reminded of the ever-present threat of conflict and
battle. In my studies of the divine, one figure stands out
as a beacon of martial power and ferocity: Ares, the God
of War.
Mars is a towering figure, his rippling muscles and
fiery gaze radiating raw power and determination. He
wields a great spear, its tip aglow with a searing light
that seems to ignite the very air around it. His armor is
forged of the finest metals, each piece carefully crafted
to enhance his already formidable abilities in battle.
Despite his fearsome reputation, Ares is not merely a
mindless brute. He is a strategic genius, with an
unparalleled understanding of tactics and warfare. His
knowledge of the art of war is said to be unmatched by
any mortal, and his tactical insights have guided armies
to countless victories throughout history.
But with great power comes great danger, and Ares is
no exception. His thirst for battle and glory can lead him
down a dark path, causing him to overlook the cost of
victory and the value of life. His followers must be
careful to temper his bloodlust, lest it consume them all.
In times of war and conflict, however, Ares is an
invaluable ally. His presence on the battlefield can turn
the tide of battle, and his ferocity is enough to strike fear
into the hearts of even the bravest of foes. I can only
hope that should I ever find myself in the midst of such
a struggle, Ares will look favorably upon me and grant
me the strength to emerge victorious.
The Silence of the Gods-Old
Gods
“The gods, once mighty and revered, have gone silent.
Their temples, once bustling with worshippers, now
stand empty and forgotten. The echoes of their voices,
once heard in the wind and the rustling of the leaves,
have faded into nothingness. It is as if they have
withdrawn from the world, leaving us to our own
devices.
What does this mean for us? Are we left to fend for
ourselves, without the guidance of the gods? Or is
something far more ominous at work? Could it be that
they have abandoned us because they have found a new
world to rule over? Or perhaps they have become
disgusted with us and our ways, and have chosen to
leave us to our fate.
Whatever the reason, the fading of the gods is not a
good omen. For without their protection and guidance,
we may be left vulnerable to the forces of darkness that
lurk just beyond our sight. It is my hope that we can find
a way to rekindle their interest in us before it is too
late.”
The Old Gods
New Gods
It is a widely accepted fact that the deities of the old
world were born divine, and their godhood was an
inherent part of their being. However, the ascension of
the New Gods is a different matter entirely.
The origins of the New Gods are shrouded in mystery,
but one thing is clear: they were once mortal beings
who, through a combination of their own actions and
the will of their followers and some unknown factor,
ascended to godhood. This phenomenon is not unique
to our time, as history has shown that the process of
deification has occurred throughout the ages.
The ascension of a mortal to godhood is a rare
occurrence, and there are few known cases. However, it
is widely believed that a mortal can become a god if they
possess an extraordinary level of power, influence, or
wisdom. It is through their actions, deeds, and the faith
of their followers that they are elevated to divine status.
There are many stories of mortals who ascended to
godhood. Some of the most well-known include the tale
of a warrior who fought for justice and became the god
of war, a healer who saved countless lives and became
the goddess of healing, and a mage who discovered the
secrets of the universe and became the god of
knowledge.
The process of ascension is not without its risks,
however. Some mortals who attempt to attain godhood
become consumed by their own power, leading to
madness and destruction. Others are rejected by the the
divinity they seak, doomed to remain mortal forever.
Despite these dangers, the prospect of ascension
remains a tantalizing possibility for mortals. The allure
of immortality and divine power is too great for some to
resist, and the tales of those who have succeeded in
their ascension continue to inspire and captivate us.
As a scholar of religion and mythology, I find the
phenomenon of ascension to be a fascinating subject of
study. It is my hope that through further research and
exploration, we may uncover the secrets of the
ascension process and shed light on the mysteries of the
divine.

The Pantheon of Dark
A Whisper in the Dark
Deep within the fiery pit of Narak, where the souls of
the damned are tormented where once sins burned
away and allowed a soul to uplift, there are whispers of
a dark pantheon now there is no escape from their
grasp. It is said that these deities did not come from the
heavens or the void, but from the souls of mortals who
were so evil that their very essence burned swaths of
the afterlife away with their deaths and rebirths.
As the tales go, the souls of these mortals were so
twisted and corrupted that they could not be
reincarnated into new bodies. Instead, they lingered in
the abyss, their anger and hatred fusing together to
form something new, something powerful. Over time,
these souls grew in strength, their wills becoming so
strong that they carved out their own domains within
the Narak.
And thus, the dark pantheon was born. Their power
grew with each passing moment, their influence
spreading like a cancer through the Narak and beyond.
They became the lords and masters of the damned,
their wills imposing order and control where there was
once only chaos.
But even now, the origins of the dark pantheon
remain shrouded in mystery and fear. Some say that
they are the remnants of ancient gods who fell from
grace, while others claim that they are the very
embodiment of evil itself. Whatever the truth may be,
there is no denying the power and influence of the dark
pantheon, and the fear that they strike into the hearts of
all who hear their names.

Myths surrounding Asmodeus vary, but many tell of
his rise to power as the ruler of the Nine Hells, a plane
of existence reserved for the most vile and evil souls.
Some tales tell of his pact with mortals, granting them
power and control in exchange for their eternal souls.
Those who worship Asmodeus often seek to emulate
his traits of order and control, seeking to rise to power
through any means necessary. His followers often form
cults, secret societies, and other organizations
dedicated to his worship and the pursuit of power.

followers and disrupt their schemes of domination and
control.

Belphegor is often called upon by hunters, warriors,
and those who seek to dominate the wild places of the
world. He is said to grant his followers the strength and
cunning of a predator, as well as the ability to track and
kill their prey with deadly accuracy. However, his gifts
come at a price, and those who worship him must be
prepared to embrace their own inner beast and give in
to their primal urges.
In some traditions, Belphegor is also associated with
fertility and abundance, and his worshipers offer
sacrifices to him in the hopes of ensuring a bountiful
hunt or a successful breeding season. However, his cult
is largely reviled and feared by most other religions,
who see them as little more than savage beasts
themselves.

their own desires and ambitions, and will stop at
nothing to achieve their goals. They are often willing to
use any means necessary, including lying, cheating, and
even murder, to get what they want. Despite their
darker tendencies, however, followers of Belial are also
known for their wit and charm, and can be quite
charismatic when they want to be.
Belial is often invoked by those seeking to gain an

charm even the most skeptical of individuals. He often

in need in exchange for their loyalty and obedience.
However, those who make deals with him often find that
the price they pay is far higher than they initially
bargained for.
Gargauth is also known for his love of secrets and
intrigue. He delights in collecting information on others
and using it to further his own goals. His followers are
often involved in espionage and other underhanded
activities, using their knowledge and skills to gain
power and control over others.
Despite his manipulative and deceitful nature,
Gargauth is also known for his charisma and charm. He
is often seen as a darkly attractive figure, and many are

cruel god, one who cares only for his own wealth and
power. His temples are often associated with corruption

tribute. Those who survive the ritual sacrifice are

great power and wealth. Moloch’s teachings emphasize
the importance of domination and submission, and his
followers are taught to revel in the suffering of others.
Despite his ruthless nature, Moloch is also known to

strongholds who unknowingly are worshiping the dark
being, where her followers train in combat and strategy.
Her worship is particularly popular among generals,
conquerors, and soldiers who seek glory and power on
the battlefield. However, her cult also attracts those who
seek revenge or retribution against their enemies, no
matter the cost.
Despite her martial reputation, Zariel is also known
for her cunning and strategic mind. She is a master of
psychological warfare and often employs deception and
manipulation to achieve her goals. Her followers often
use similar tactics, employing spies and assassins to
weaken their enemies from within.
Zariel’s presence is often felt on the battlefield, where
her followers invoke her name for strength and courage
in combat. She is said to grant her chosen warriors
supernatural powers, such as increased strength and
speed, as well as the ability to shrug off wounds that
would kill a lesser mortal. Those who die in battle in her
name are believed to be welcomed into her halls of
conquest, where they will continue to serve and fight for
her glory in the afterlife.
One of the only beings able to marshal the forces of
Deamons into a working unified force he is not a god to
be trifled with
Zariel is the most insidious of his group slowly
whispering into the minds of mortals to ever rise higher
with ambition in warfare, many a kingdom have ran to
ruin from great generals who heard these whispers. For
who would be a better king than them?
Other Faiths of Mortals
Dwarven Faith
As I delved deeper into the dwarven culture, I
discovered a profound belief in the power of ancestral
spirits. The dwarves venerate their forebears, and
believe that their spirits are constantly present,
watching over and aiding them in their daily lives.
The more a dwarf’s ancestors are revered and
remembered by their descendants, the more potent
their spirits become. I witnessed this firsthand as I
observed the reverence and respect that the dwarves
showed towards their elders and ancestors.
It is clear that the dwarves’ faith in their ancestral
spirits is a fundamental aspect of their culture and
identity. The spirits of their ancestors are seen as
guardians and protectors of their people, and the
dwarves draw strength and inspiration from them in
times of need. It is a beautiful and powerful belief, and
one that I have come to respect deeply.
Elven Faith
have spent the past few months living among the elven
people and studying their beliefs. I have learned that
they have two main faiths, both of which revolve around
the concept of what happens to the soul after death.
The first faith teaches that when an elf dies, their
spirit returns to the natural world, becoming a part of
the trees, the streams, and the earth itself. They believe
that this is a beautiful and peaceful way to continue
existing, and that their loved ones who have passed on
are still present in the world around them, watching
over and guiding them.
The second faith is that the souls of the elves enter
the well of souls upon death, where they are cleansed of
their past lives and reborn into new bodies. This belief
holds that the elven spirit is never truly destroyed, but
rather is transformed and reborn to continue its journey
through life and beyond.
Both of these beliefs hold a deep reverence for nature
and the cycle of life and death, and I have found it
fascinating to observe how the elves incorporate these
ideas into their daily lives and rituals. It is clear that
their connection to the natural world is deeply rooted in
their spirituality, and I look forward to learning more
about their beliefs in the coming weeks.
The Outer Gods
The Enemy of My Enemy
In the forgotten annals of the divine, whispered rumors
speak of an ancient conflict between the Dark Pantheon
and the Pantheon of Light. The details are shrouded in
mystery, but tales tell of a great war that ravaged the
heavens, with each side vying for dominance over the
other.
As the war raged on, a rift opened in the very fabric of
the cosmos, and from it spilled a seething horde of
Outer Gods, beings whose very existence defied mortal
comprehension. They descended upon the mortal plane
like a swarm of locusts, unleashing untold horrors upon
the land.
The two warring pantheons were forced to set aside
their differences and band together to repel the
otherworldly threat. The battle that ensued was one of
the most epic and devastating in the history of the
divine, with the very fate of the cosmos hanging in the
balance.
In the end, the combined might of the two pantheons
proved too much for the Outer Gods, and they were
banished back to the void from whence they came. But
the cost of victory was great, and the two pantheons
agreed to a fragile truce, swearing never again to
engage in such a destructive conflict this agreement is
called “The Black Pact”.
Nyarlaxa
Nyarlaxa, the Eternal Void, is a mysterious and
enigmatic Outer God that exists beyond the mortal
realm. It is said that Nyarlaxa is an endless expanse of
emptiness and darkness, a realm of infinite nothingness
that defies mortal comprehension.
Nyarlaxa is not an entity that can be easily understood
or defined, and it is not known if it possesses a
consciousness or agenda. It is simply a vast, allconsuming void that devours all that comes into contact
with it, whether it be energy, matter, or even
consciousness.
Despite its incomprehensible nature, Nyarlaxa is still
a powerful force that can affect the mortal realm in
subtle ways. Those who delve too deeply into the
mysteries of the void risk being consumed by its
emptiness and losing their sense of self.
Nyarlaxa’s worshipers are few and far between, but
those who do worship it believe that it is the key to
unlocking the secrets of the universe and achieving
ultimate power and knowledge. However, the dangers
of such worship are great, and many who have sought to
delve into the mysteries of the void have never returned.
Nethulon
Nethulon, is an Outer God that embodies the aspects of
. It is said that Nethulon’s influence can drive even the
strongest of minds to madness, causing them to
experience horrific hallucinations and disturbing
visions.
Those who worship Nethulon believe that only by
embracing the chaos of mutation and the terror of
insanity can one truly understand the universe. They
often engage in twisted experiments and rituals, seeking
to unlock the secrets of the mind and push the
boundaries of what is considered possible.
Nethulon is often depicted as a monstrous creature
with a writhing mass of tentacles for a head and a body
that constantly mutates and changes shape. Its
presence is often accompanied by a sickening sense of
dread, causing those in its presence to feel a sense of
hopelessness and despair.
V’Korath
V’Korath, the Unknowable One, is an Outer God beyond
mortal comprehension. Its form is ever-changing, and
its presence can drive mortal minds to madness. It
exists outside of time and space, and its very existence
disrupts the natural order of the universe. Some cults
worship V’Korath, believing that its knowledge and
power will grant them immortality and dominion over
all creation. However, most sane beings fear and avoid
any contact with this eldritch entity.
Xyrithul
Xyrithul, the Chaos Bringer, is an Outer God that
embodies chaos, disorder, and entropy. Its existence
defies logic and reason, as it twists and warps the fabric
of reality itself. Xyrithul is said to be the architect of
destruction, unleashing catastrophic events and
bringing about the downfall of civilizations. Its followers
believe that chaos is the natural state of the universe,
and that order is an illusion imposed by mortal minds.
Some say that Xyrithul’s true form is incomprehensible
to mortal senses, and that merely glimpsing it can drive
one to madness
Zul’Thor
Zul’Thor is an Outer God whose very name strikes fear
into the hearts of mortals and gods alike. Its true form is
unknown and incomprehensible to mortal minds. Some
believe that it is a giant, many-mouthed beast that
devours entire worlds and consumes entire pantheons
of gods. Others say that it is a formless entity that exists
in the spaces between dimensions, waiting for the right
moment to strike.
Those who have dared to study the nature of Zul’Thor
describe it as a force of destruction and chaos. It is said
to revel in the destruction of civilizations and the
annihilation of entire races. Its followers, if it has any,
are likely to be cults of madmen and nihilists who
worship the end of all things.
Despite its terrible power, Zul’Thor rarely interacts
directly with the mortal realm. Instead, it sends forth its
agents, monstrous beings that are almost as terrifying
as the god itself. Mortals who encounter these beings
often suffer from madness and despair, unable to
comprehend the terrible power that they have
witnessed.

The Academy of the Crystal
Path
The Academy of the Crystal Path:The magic academy
was founded during a time of great political upheaval
and strife. In the past, magic was used as a tool of war
and domination, leading to widespread suffering and
loss of life. The founders of the academy witnessed
firsthand the devastation caused by the misuse of magic
and were determined to create an institution that would
promote its responsible and ethical use.
The academy was established as a neutral ground,
where students of all backgrounds and beliefs could
come to learn and practice magic without fear of
persecution or manipulation. The founders also made it
a point to steer clear of political entanglements, in order
to avoid any repeat of the bloodshed that had marred
the history of magic. The academy has stood the test of
time, and has become a beacon of knowledge and
learning for generations of students. It has always
prided itself on its commitment to academic excellence
and the development of well-rounded, ethical
practitioners of magic.
The academy has a strict code of conduct, where any
form of using magic for manipulation or personal gain is
strictly prohibited and dealt with severe punishment.
Despite its isolationist stance, the academy has become
a respected and influential institution, known for its
contributions to the advancement of magical research
and for training some of the most powerful and
respected wizards in the world. However, it is also
aware of the dangers that the outside world poses, and
is always vigilant against any threats to its neutrality
and the safety of its students and staff

The Shattered Sun
Entry 1-Erick Felson:Teleram ISB
I arrived at the site of the destroyed town today, tasked
with investigating the faction responsible for this
atrocity - the Shattered Sun. According to their claims,
they razed the town in order to kill a powerful witch
who had been using her dark magic to torment and
enslave the local populace. The fact that they did not
hesitate to use such extreme measures in their pursuit
of justice is concerning, to say the least.
From what I’ve been able to gather so far, the
Shattered Sun is a highly religious and militaristic cult,
with a fanatical devotion to their cause. They believe
that all evil must be exterminated by any means
necessary, and that they are the chosen ones tasked
with carrying out this holy mission.
Their leader is a charismatic figure known as the
High Priest, who is revered by his followers as a
prophet of their deity. He is also the supreme
commander of their military forces, and is said to have
personally led the assault on the town. Some reports
suggest that he possesses powerful magic, which he
used to devastating effect during the attack.
The Shattered Sun is organized into different
branches, each with its own specific duties and
responsibilities. They are highly disciplined and welltrained, with a strict system of ranks and roles for their
members. Their methods are brutal and ruthless, and
they will not hesitate to commit heinous acts if it means
destroying a greater evil.
It remains to be seen what other atrocities the
Shattered Sun may be capable of in their pursuit of
their holy mission. I must proceed with caution, for I
fear that I may be treading on dangerous ground.
Entry 2
I’ve delved further into the Shattered Sun’s inner
workings, and what I’ve discovered has sent shivers
down my spine. Their ranking structure is highly
organized and hierarchical, with each member wielding
deadly weapons and magical abilities. These cultists are
not to be underestimated.
At the bottom of the chain are the Zealots, heavily
armored soldiers who will stop at nothing to carry out
the will of their leaders. They’re like a swarm of bees,
willing to die for their queen.
Above them are the Dawnbreakers, officers in
command of smaller groups of Zealots. They’re heavily
armored and wield massive warhammers, ready to
crush anything that stands in their way.
But it’s the higher ranks that truly terrify me. The
Dawnlords are commanders of smaller temples or
platoons, and they wield flaming weapons and armor
imbued with magic. They can take on entire armies with
ease, and their mastery of the flames is unlike anything
I’ve ever seen.
At the top of the hierarchy is the Sunmaster, the
highest rank reserved for leaders of large temples that
oversee entire regions. And the current Sunmaster is
Artea Rimora, known as the “Blood Dawn” by her
peers. Her face is marked with prominent scars from
countless battles, and she wields a sword that glows
crimson red and is said to devour the souls of those it
kills. Her mastery of fire is legendary, and she is feared
by even the most battle-hardened warriors.
I fear that the Shattered Sun is more powerful and
dangerous than I ever could have imagined. They’re not
just a cult, they’re a well-oiled military machine, and
they won’t hesitate to use their deadly weapons and
magical abilities to achieve their goals. I don’t know
what they’re planning next, but I know that I need to
stay vigilant if I’m going to survive this investigation.
Entry 3
I can’t believe what I’ve just witnessed. The Shattered
Sun has finally caught up with the witch they were
hunting, and the destruction they caused in the process
is unimaginable. I watched from a distance as they
cornered her in a small town, and what followed was a
scene straight out of hell itself.
The Zealots swarmed the streets, their heavy armor
clanking with each step. They were like a pack of
wolves, tearing through anything that stood in their way.
The Dawnbreakers followed close behind, their massive
warhammers slamming down on buildings and people
alike, reducing them to rubble and dust.
But it was the Dawnlords who truly terrified me. They
waded through the chaos like it was nothing, their
flaming weapons igniting anything they touched. They
were like demons from another realm, unstoppable and
relentless.
And then there was Artea Rimora, the Blood Dawn
herself. She stood at the center of it all, her sword
blazing with crimson fire. I could feel the heat from it
even from where I was hiding. She was like a force of
nature, tearing through the town with a ferocity that was
both awe-inspiring and terrifying.
They found the witch in a small cottage at the edge of
town. I saw her trying to flee, but she was no match for
the Shattered Sun. They descended on her like vultures,
tearing her apart with their weapons and magic. Her
screams echoed through the town, but no one came to
her aid. They were too afraid of the Shattered Sun.
And when it was all over, the town was nothing but
ruins and ash. The Shattered Sun had accomplished
their goal, but at what cost? How many innocent lives
were lost in the process? How many more towns will
they destroy in their quest for righteousness? I don’t
know if I can continue this investigation. The Shattered
Sun is more terrifying than I ever could have imagined,
and I fear for my own safety if I continue to pursue
them.
Entry 4
I don’t have much time left. The Shattered Sun has
caught up with me, and they are accusing me of
worshiping a demonic being. I tried to explain to them
that I was just an investigator, that I had no interest in
their religion or their cause. But they didn’t listen. They
dragged me to a city and put me on trial in front of their
own court.
The trial was a mockery of justice. The judges were
all members of the Shattered Sun, and they were clearly
biased against me from the start. They accused me of all
sorts of crimes, from conspiring with witches to
blasphemy against their god. They even brought out
witnesses who claimed to have seen me performing
dark rituals in the dead of night.
Of course, none of it was true. I have never worshiped
a demonic being in my life. But it didn’t matter. The
Shattered Sun had already made up their minds about
me. And when they handed down their verdict, it was
exactly what I had feared.
They sentenced me to death by fire, claiming that it
was the only way to cleanse my soul of the corruption
that they believed I carried. I begged for mercy, pleaded
with them to spare my life. But they only laughed at me,
calling me a heretic and a fool.
I managed to write this letter to the local lord, hoping
that he might be able to intervene on my behalf. But he
refused to listen to me, claiming that the Shattered Sun
had political backing of the highest order. He told me
that there was nothing he could do to save me.
So now I sit in my cell, waiting for my execution. I can
hear them outside, preparing the pyre that will consume
me. I can feel the heat of their fanaticism, burning like a
sun inside my head. And I can only hope that this letter
will reach someone who will see the truth about the
Shattered Sun, and stop them before it’s too late.
My time is running out. The guard who is supposed to
sneak this letter out is coming. I hope it reaches you,
and I hope you can do something to stop the madness of
the Shattered Sun.
*The letter ends abruptly, stained with blood. It’s
unclear what happened to the writer after he finished
writing it. The letter was found at a later date on the
corpse of a dead horse carrier
The Unbound Weave
Stolen Curinar Document to Duke
Betraxis
I have received information about a new terroristic
organization called The Unbound Weave. It seems that
their goal is to spread magic across the world by
disrupting the weave and destroying ancient artifacts to
cause magical surges. The group is highly secretive, and
little is known about their activities or their leadership.
What we do know is that they have three ranks within
their group.
The first rank is Acolyte, which consists of simple
enforcers or infiltrators acting on orders from higherranked members. They have no authority over other
members and are used as foot soldiers to carry out
orders.
The second rank is Unraveler, who are agents with
special talents and skills who operate within a cell and
have some authority over Acolytes. Unravelers are
trusted members of the group and are often involved in
planning and executing attacks.
The highest rank is High Unraveler, who are the
leaders of individual cells within The Unbound Weave.
They lay out plans and issue orders to other members,
including Unravelers and Acolytes.
The only information known about the leader of The
Unbound Weave is that they are a being known as
“Noximas”. It is unclear if this is a person’s name, a
title, or something else entirely. The group is highly
dangerous and must be stopped at all costs
Gleamed Information
Captain Delks Letter
King Petrohilos, I write you now with the utmost
urgency.
I am Captain Delk of the City Guard in Orela. I hope
this letter finds you swiftly. I am writing to bring to your
attention a matter of great importance.
A small group bearing the ancient crest of House
Crowell caused a riot in the city of Orela, causing havoc
and destruction amongst the city. I was tasked with
leading an investigation into the insurgency and I am
proud to say that we were successful in wiping out the
threat.
However, I must urge you to consider that this event
was not just a simple act of rebellion. The individuals
involved in the riot were too organized, too wellequipped, and the city fell to madness too quickly for
this to be a mere coincidence. There is a greater threat
at work here, one that I fear will only continue to grow
in strength if we do not act now.
I implore you to take my concerns seriously and to
take action to uncover the truth behind these events.
The safety of our citizens, and the stability of our
kingdom, depend on it.
I remain at your service always my King.
Sincerely, Captain Delk, Captain of the Orela Guard
The letters that follow are 5 more pleas to be heard

You find no mention past these letters of any riot or
insurrection in the knowledge you have current access

Dreams of Tengri
Tengri’s dreams were filled with the sounds of war
drums, marching armies, and the screams of the
wounded and dying. He saw himself as a participant in
the war, aiding a force that had burnt a kingdom to
ashes yes they were enemies but this, was madness and
butchery. The air was thick with smoke and the scent of
burning flesh. He watched helplessly as homes and lives
were destroyed in the name of victory.
But the horror only grew as the Tengri’s dreams shifted.
He saw a massive, entity slowly wrapping its tendrils
around a tree, its vines sinking into the bark, consuming
it from the inside out. The tree groaned in distress, its
branches reaching out as if in a last ditch effort to save
itself. The entity, undeterred, continued to feed on the
tree, draining it of life and vitality. The tree withered and
died, and the entity moved on to the next.
The Tengri awoke with a start, his heart racing and his
mind filled with the visions of the night. He felt a deep
sadness and a sense of guilt for his part in the war and
for the destruction of El Telaiia. If only this were the
first or last time these dreams plagued him
Letters from My Brother
Dear Alyssara,
Greetings from the Dwarven Kingdom of Darilof my
sister! I hope this letter finds you well. I am writing to
tell you how proud I am of you for gaining employment
at the Academy of the Crystal Path! I would have never
dreamed you could achive so much so young. Your hard
work and dedication has paid off, and it brings a smile
to my face to see you achieving your dreams.
I am currently working as a mercenary here in
Darilof, protecting the roads from recent upcroppings of
monsters from beneath the earth. The dwarves are a
tough lot, but they have been kind to me and have
taught me much about their way of life. I will make sure
to let mother know about your recent success when I
next see her. I am certain she will be overjoyed to hear
the news.
I must also warn you to be cautious when travelling,
especially to the far west. The situation has become far
more violent between the tribal people out that way with
the influx from Suvivors of the Battle of El Telaiia, and I
do not wish for you to fall into harm’s way. Stay safe,
and I hope to see you soon.
With love,
Andreaus Runalymo
Norgard the lost town
In the small village of Norgard, life was once peaceful
and harmonious. But 16 years ago, things took a dark
turn. The villagers suddenly became isolated and
stopped communicating with the outside world a new
priest had come and he spoke of salvation.
Rumors began to spread about a cult that had taken
over the village, killing anyone who tried to come near
it. The roads leading to Norgard were destroyed, and all
signs pointing towards the village were removed,
making it nearly impossible to find.
The last time an outsider had any contact with
Norgard was when a merchant went to the village to sell
one thing on request of the priest, thousands of leeches.
The merchant returned with a young boy, that was left
at a orphangage.
Over the years, attempts were made by adventurers
and authorities to find out what happened to Norgard
and its residents. However, they were either turned
away by the cult or never returned. The fate of Norgard
remains a mystery, with only rumors and speculation to
give any indication of what truly happened.
The villagers of Norgard are now considered missing,
and the village is believed to be cursed, with many
afraid to even look for it. The cult’s motive for killing
outsiders and isolating the village remains unknown,
and the true fate of Norgard may never be known only
one group has any interest in it being the Explorers
league.

of the kingdom. The Crown of Curinar declared war on
the house, and after a brutal and bloody conflict, the
