Pitch Media is a boutique below-the-line media agency, based
in Cape Town. Pitch Media was started in 2018. The Pitch
Media team has a number of key stakeholders that come from
various different media & sales backgrounds. Pitch Media's key
focus is competition advertising, as well as traditional media
advertising.

The Morning Show:
What is The Morning Show?
The Morning Show has recently moved to a brand new studio. The show has
seen a steady increase in viewership numbers which could largely be based on
the number of people now working from home. The show peaked with over 1
million viewers last week. The competitions that we put together are done so to
bring much needed relief to viewers that are also facing some financial strain.
However at the same time, we also want to provide an affordable platform for
brands to market themselves. From past campaigns we have noticed that the
“Spring Clean” campaign achieves huge entry numbers, it could be largely due
to the time of the year and that the summer feeling is on its way back.
Where can I find The Morning Show?
The Morning Show airs live every Monday to Friday between 05:30am to 8:30am
on eTV (channel 194 DSTV) kick starting your day with a nutritional dose of
current affairs, fitness, infotainment, cooking, comedy, sports, trends and much
more. The Morning Show has a daily viewership of 1 million & has quickly become
the number 1 morning show in the country. The viewership is equally matched
between men & women & 75% of the viewer is African & falls in the LSM group 69.
More about the competition:
The competition will run from Monday to Friday, each competition sting will be
45 to 1 minute long. As the competition sponsor, you would provide the
suggested presenter’s script as well as all the branding elements that will be
showcased during the competition sting. There will be a total of 3 competition
stings per day. Viewers will be invited to enter the competition by SMS'ing the
name of the sponsor to 34865 & the presenter will also notify the viewer to
follow 1 of the sponsor's social media handles as part of the call to action.

We request that the brands do their own
social media posts ahead of the
competition. Rest Assured ran a
Valentine's competition in February. The
boosted post on the left had a reach of
over 300K & their Instagram following
increased by over 700 followers just from
this post.
Once the competition is completed we
then also ask that the brand announces
the winners on their social media handles.
This then gives the competition credibility.
The Morning Show will also announce the
winners on their Facebook page.

Show" between 5:30AM & 8:30AM
2 X Facebook competition post on the Morning Show page. (100K+
Likes & 300K Followers) on the Monday & Wednesday of the
competition week.
1 X Facebook winner announcement post on the Morning Show
page = Following Monday.
Each SMS entry in the competition also gets an automated reply
confirming the entry and also states that the viewer is required to
follow the brand’s social media platforms and/or we can direct the
customers to your website. The link to the page is included in the
automated reply.
