heart of the town. Molo Plaza is located at Barangay San Pedro, Molo district2, the Plaza
is very well maintained and full of huge old Balete and Kalachuchi trees. Beside the plaza
is the majestic Molo Church built in 1863.
7:35- 8:20Am ( First Tour Molo Church )
- Molo Church is a famous Spanish-colonial church and heritage site in Molo District. It
known for the prominent red spires that crown its tall bell towers and as “the feminist
church” because of the all-women ensemble of saints represented in 16 statues perched
on the aisle pillars. Built in neogothic style, the church is one of the Iloilo City’s most
familiar landmarks and top tourist attractions.

- The Molo Mansion walking distance from Molo Plaza, Molo masion also known as the
Yusay-Consing Mansion, is one of the most outstanding historical homes in the
Philippines. It was built in the 1920's and was reopened to the public in 2015. It currently
serves at the backdrop of art exhibits, markets, fairs, special occasions, and photo shoots.

The Lopez Heritage House or Mansion de Lopez (or otherwise known as
the Nelly's Garden) is a national heritage house built in 1928 located at
Jaro, Iloilo City by an Ilonggo statesman Don Vicente Lopez and his wife,
Doña Elena Hofileña. The mansion was named after the couple's eldest
daughter, Nelly Lopez y Hofileña. Due to its grandiose architecture
highlighting the province's aristocratic past, it is regarded as the "Queen of
Heritage Houses in Iloilo". On March 28, 2004,it was declared as a
National Historical Landmark by the National Historical Institute.

La Paz Batchoy also referred to as batchoy or batsoy, is a famous noodle soup from La
Paz, Iloilo City, made with pork offal, crushed chicharon, meat stock, and fresh egg
noodles. It’s said to have originated from the Chinese community who lived in the La
Paz district. Batchoy came from the word “Ba-Chui,” which means pieces of meat in
