We previously had an orientation in JANUARY to advise them of the basic preparations and expenses that they may incur in completing their application among our preferred industry partners. Given that 1200 OJT students will be deployed this summer, we organized early orientation so that we could already identify our student’s industry partner’s preference and reserve their slots ahead of time. So, it is only empirical that we take into account the schedule and availability of our hotel partners in order to employ all of them. Below are the details of requirements, deployment schedule and OJT destinations with existing partners: • • • • • Waiver and Parents Consent (notarized) Standard Resume with 2x2 Picture Endorsement Letter (c/o the department) Memorandum of Agreement (notarized) Medical Certificate via HealthScreen Clinical Laboratory • • • • Healthcard Vax Card (Fully Vaccinated) Drug Test (only if required by the industry partner) Barangay and NBI Clearance (only if required by the industry partner) Expected In-House Training and Schedule of Deployment: Inhouse Training - April 10 – May 22 Deployment - 1st Week of July and Ends on 1st Week of November OJT Destinations with existing Partners (For 2nd Year, Summer): 1. Iloilo 2. Boracay OJT Destinations with existing Partners (For 4th Year, 1st Sem): 1. Iloilo 4. Baguio 2. Boracay 5. Manila 3. Cebu 6. Palawan They have been instructed to start the early processing of their initial internship documents (Resume, Waiver, MOA and health cards) as early as 4th week of Feb. Please take note of the payment deadline for MOA and Waiver Notary Fee – February 27, 2023. Also, you are requested to attend a Parent’s Meeting on March 3, 2023 (Venue and Time - TBA) to discuss important matters about your student’s On-the-job Training.
