Letter to editor Aprel 6, 2023 Sir John Reith BBC Buildings. 35 Marylebone High Street The first headquarters of the Radio Times Dear John I am writing to express my concern about the growing influence of India's big conglomerates, particularly Ambani and Adani. These companies have become so large and powerful that they dominate entire industries, making it difficult for smaller companies to compete. While I understand the benefits of having large corporations in the economy, I believe that the concentration of power in the hands of a few is not good for the country in the long run. These conglomerates have significant political influence, which can lead to crony capitalism and a lack of transparency in decision-making. Therefore, I urge the Indian government to consider breaking up these conglomerates to promote competition and prevent the concentration of power. This will not only benefit smaller businesses but also ensure that the country's economy is more resilient and less dependent on a few powerful players. Thank you for your consideration. Sincerely Quvonchbek Qurbonov
