Methods – Data Analysis • States what is the statistical treatment used to interpret the data • Descriptive Statistics are statistical tools that help researchers summarize the overall tendencies in the data, provide an assessment of how varied the scores are, and provide insight into where one score stands in comparison with the rest of the data. (Central Tendency, Standard Deviation, & Percentile rank) Methods – Data Analysis • States what is the statistical treatment used to interpret the data • Inferential Statistics are statistical tools that researchers use in their quantitative data analysis to consider more than one variable such as comparing groups or relating variables and to make inferences from a sample to a population (t-test, ANOVA, Pearson's correlational, etc.) Final Group task • Submit the following • Methods • Whole paper (Introduction to Methods) • Make sure all errors are edited • References • AFTER SUBMISSION, evaluate yourself AND YOUR GROUPMATES Final Group task Filetype: Word document NO PDF FILNAME: MethodsLastNames Title of Research Paper Reference DEADLINE May 9-13
