How often is alcohol consumed by adolescents in Bartica Secondary Schools?
What is the cause of alcohol being consumed?
How does it affect them?
What are the measures that can avoid them taking alcohol?
TASK 2
Alcohol has been used by adolescents in the past and will continue to be used by students in
school. When students start consuming, it is likely that they will face sanctions for this habit.
Global statistics show that 6.4 percent of adolescents ages 12-17yrs had alcohol use disorder in
the past year (National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism, 2019 NSDUH). This is also
a big problem in Bartica. The researchers have chosen this topic because of how adolescents are
corrupting their life mentally and physically. This behavior has been seen too many times,
drinking alcohol cannot only harm them but also affect the people around them.
TASK 3
The researchers plan to use a questionnaire.
The questionnaire is a structured technique for collecting primary data in a survey. It is a series
of written questions for which the respondent provides answers.
