Gogh created a remarkable piece with the use of mainly curved lines to form different illusions and shapes. Collectively, they produce a beautiful picture. Gogh also used complementary colors (blues, yellows) in different tones (warm, cold) to suggest emotion in his piece. His brushstrokes build a smooth texture that adds dramatic effect and style that he popularized. 2. Discuss the principles of visual art in Vincent van Gogh’s piece. Gogh dramatically gave life to this painting by creating little strokes that show movement and rhythm. It leads the viewer's eyes to a focal point. He used asymmetrical elements and made the piece look well-composed. 3. Overall, do you like Vincent van Gogh’s painting? Explain your answer. To be honest, I believe this painting gives much emotion. How this piece is recreated and reproduced countless times prove how much most of us are fans of The Starry Night.
