STUDENTS ACTIVITY
So, what did we have learned in
our LP no.1?
Yes! We have learned about Soil
and Water.
There are 3 layers of soil. What are
these?
Give an example of soil that was
discussed last week.
This is a water that were stored
underground. What is this?
Give 5 examples of surface water,
and groundwater.
Let us now proceed to the LP no.2.
5. Motivation
Before we start, we will have a
short zumba, so that we can have
an energy for today. Shall we?
B. LESSON PROPER:
A. Activity
I have here a quick activity we can do.
Direction: Write the name of the
weather in the space provided.
B. Analysis
Now let us start with our discussion in
LP no. 2.
Based on the activity we had earlier,
what do you think is going to be our
topic?
Yes! It is about weather. We will be
learning about The Weather on
Earth.
The Weather is the condition of the
atmosphere over a short period of time.
The science that deals with the study of
the weather is called Meteorology.
A scientist that studies with the
weather and give forcasts or prediction
about what will, the weather will be in
the future is called Meteorologist.
Let us learn about the Components of
Weather.
This is a Thermometer, this is an
instrument that measure the air
temperature. The Air Temperature,
refers to the hotness and the coldness
of the atmosphere.
The other one is called a Barometer, it
is an instrument used to measure
atmospheric pressure. Atmospheric
Pressure refers to the force exerted by
the weight of the atmosphere.
Let us continue. Clouds, when you go
outside, have you noticed that there are
different kinds of clouds that you see?
What do you think a cloud is made out
of?
Yes! Clouds are made up of tiny
droplets that are combined together and
form into a cloud. The different
appearance of a cloud, indicates the
different types of weather.
