Directions: Answer the following questions:
1. How did Jesus Christ and His Apostles start to build the Church?
 Jesus accomplished all of this for three purposes: the
encouragement of His Body of Christ and the empowering of
the saints (followers) for the job of His ministry. His goal was
for the entire Body to unite in its faith, its knowledge of Jesus
Christ, its maturity, and its participation in Jesus Christ's
fullness.
2. What are the significant events in the life of the early church?
 The death and resurrection life of Jesus, whom Christians
consider to be the Son of God, and those whose life and beliefs
form the cornerstone of Christianity, are the most significant
events in Christianity (see Easter Day).
In Bible terms, the church is made up of every person who has a
personal relationship with Jesus Christ. How will you develop your
relationship with Christ the head of the church?
You must establish a personal relationship with God in order to genuinely become the
person He made you be, as this is the only way you can accomplish the goals, He had for you
when He created you. Being in a relationship with Christ is simply realizing and accepting that
what the Bible says about who Jesus is and your need for Him as your Savior is accurate. A
relationship with Christ can be established without the use of any mysterious procedure.
The ability to completely comprehend your emotions wants, and desires without feeling
embarrassed or bashful about them are made possible by establishing a relationship with God.
Imagine becoming more aware of yourself each day, talking to God, attempting to connect with
everything that does not speak your language as well as yourself, and attempting to connect with
the enormous beauty all around you. Perhaps the connection to the divine gives us the fortitude
to continue, to accept a different kind of love, to always wonder, to question, and to strive to
learn more about the world and ourselves. There are no boundaries or limitations in our
relationship with God. It enables us to break free and return home.
An important first step to having the accountability and support to live out your new
commitment is to find a suitable church home with like-minded believers. You'll not only
continue to advance spiritually, but you'll also discover that there is power in numbers. The right
church will provide you with opportunities to interact with sisters and even a mentor who will
support your spiritual development, as well as opportunities to learn and grow through the
pastor's teaching. You were not made to work alone; you were made to be part of the
community.
