responsible for breaking down the food that we
are eating.
Now class, I will be showing you a picture. All
you need to do is to observe the picture.

Very Good, the picture represents the Digestive
System.
And our digestive system plays a fundamental
role in our body. Today, we will talk about it,
what are it’s parts, function and where it is
located.
Before we start our main lesson, allow me to
give you our objectives for this lesson.

for digesting foods and liquids.
It is a muscular tube through which foods
passes from the pharynx to the stomach.
It is a muscular, elastic, pear- shaped
organ located between the esophagus and
small intestine.
It is the first part of the digestive tract.
It is also called as colon and is the next
organ after the small intestine.
