Electronics Project Progress Report Submitted by: Daniyal Tahir 210501016 Abdullah Tafzeel 210501068 Annas Shahid 210501047 Department: ME-10-B Submitted To: Mr Mudassir Qamar PROGRESS REPORT The following components were purchased for the Project • • • Ultrasonic Ranging Module HC-SR04 LCD 1602A Arduino UNO REV3 SMD Details of each component is given next ULTRASONIC RANGING MODULE HC-SR04 Ultrasonic ranging module HC - SR04 provides 2cm - 400cm non-contact measurement function, the ranging accuracy can reach to 3mm. The modules include ultrasonic transmitters, receiver, and control circuit. The basic principle of work: (1) Using IO trigger for at least 10us high level signal, (2) The Module automatically sends eight 40 kHz and detects whether there is a pulse signal back. (3) IF the signal comes back, through high level, time of high output IO duration is the time from sending ultrasonic to returning.
