34 Chemical and physical changes are alike in some ways and
different in others. They are different because in a physical change the
appearance or form of the matter changes but the kind of matter in the
substance does not. However in a chemical change, the kind of matter
changes and at least one new substance with new properties is
formed.Also with physical change the identity of it stays the same. For
chemical change it is different, it changes the entire identity of it.
Physical changes’ combinations of molecules result in mixtures, But it
is different for chemical changes’ there combinations/Reactions of
molecules result in products. Physical and chemical changes are alike
because they are both types of changes that can occur in various forms
of matter. Both types of changes cause alterations to the original
matter involved. In Conclusion this is how chemical and physical
changes are alike and different.
