Anil Babu 2020 2. of Methodology Results/ conclusions Drawbacks/ limitations A conference paper on Indic script keyboard. Keyboards were originally designed to input text in roman scrips. This was designed to create a natural C-v sequence for the user where they can type a consonant followed by the vowel Keylekh[6] could achieve its primary design objective to make typing in Indic language easy to use and easy to learn specially for children with age 2-5 years . instruction seemed to easy to remember Three issues related to Indian languages pose for the design of input devices. 1. Structure of Indic Scripts. 2. Large number of characters JETIR research journal @2020 of The functionality Encoder[1] is to convert into code from a set of input signal, The encoder has a main role Based on the logical expressions by taking n inputs where is normally 4,8,16 where data m is usally binary code indicate the forced input. The encoders is one of the crucial components in many applications so it is efficient in terms of its design metrics then it will help in improving efficiency of entire design. The main issue is encoder generates an error output when more than one input is high. 4 Research Gap Identifying Research Gaps in “Devanagari Script Encoder” there was a minor discrepancy in connection of components with each other while designing the PCB. The paper also defines that a research gap rises in, as the main issue is encoder generates an error output when more than one input is high and the issues which Indian and regional languages pose for the design of input devices. 1. Structure of Indic Scripts. 2. Large number of characters 5 Proposed Solution • In order to inculcate the pronunciations of the alphabets in children, there are various ways, one among them is our self-made DEVANAGARI ROBOT. • This device will currently work as regional language script encoder[1], but in later upgrades this will be modified to DEVANAGARI version of text to speech robot [2]as end result. This will provide audio support to enhance the pronunciation on entering VARNA using keyboard.[3] • As far as script encoder is concerned it will work similar to the morse code encode. Each individual VARNA is represented as for 3 bit binary code [4]. For reference the index is attached. • This code will further be forwarded to audio device which will pronounce the respective VARNA.[5] 6 Fig 1. Index 7 Comparison/competition in the market • • • • The main aim of our project is that it should help the children to learn their regional language through attractive toys. These comes under educational toys .The market of educational toys and specially of those which help the children to learn English alphabet is very vast. Based on the age group the market is categorized into 0-4 years,4-8 years, and above 8 years. The 0-4 years segment is forecast to dominate the market over the forecast period. The increasing need to boost children intelligence quotient from a tender age is surging the demand for these toys in these segment. 8 Block Diagram Fig 2. Block Diagram 9 Circuit Fig 3.
