7 PILLARS BY TAHA HILMI Chapter I -The As start of everything - Neves walked towards his kitchen, he noticed how the light from the sun illuminated his living room in a way that made it look almost surreal. The rays of the sun streamed through his windows, casting intricate shadows on the walls and reflecting off his dog's shiny coat, making it look like it was on fire. He smiled at the sight and walked over to his pantry to look for some cereal. After a brief search, he found a box of his favorite cereal, and his dog wagged its tail in anticipation. Neves poured the remaining cereal into a bowl, and as he opened the fridge to grab the milk, the cool air rushed out, making him shiver. He closed the fridge door and poured the milk on top of the cereal. The sound of the milk splashing on the cereal made his dog's ears perk up, and he started to lick his lips in anticipation. Neves grabbed a spoon, took a bite of his cereal, and savored the sweet taste. His dog looked up at him with big, pleading eyes, and Neves chuckled before giving him a few treats. As he ate, Neves thought about his work as a scientist. He had spent countless hours in his lab, experimenting with various chemicals and materials to find solutions to some of the world's most pressing problems. He had made breakthroughs in fields like renewable energy and medicine, but his work often went unnoticed, as big corporations would swoop in and take credit for his discoveries. Despite the setbacks, Neves remained determined to keep working and making a difference in the world. Stepping outside of his slightly broken house, he was ready for another boring day of the usual daily routine of work, he works in a company, Tli, is one of the largest companies, mostly known for their scientific creations, from robots to biological development, they had it all, but they were missing one thing, and one thing only, a time machine, even though it was thought as impossible, everything Tli had made before, was also considered impossible, Tli was so powerful, it scared the strongest of countries of its time with its creations, from invisible airplanes to packable planes, it was obvious to see why. He had now worked there for 10 years and had seen many unusual kinds of stuff during his time there. Today was a day that Neves knew would be different, but he didn't expect it to be so drastically different from what he had envisioned. As he stepped into the Tli headquarters, he could feel a sense of unease in the air. He walked towards his office, and as he opened the door, he was greeted by the sight of his boss, looking stern and unyielding. Neves knew what was coming, and he braced himself for the worst. His boss informed him that the company was facing budget issues and that they needed to cut costs. The solution they had come up with was to create a duplicating machine, which could duplicate any object or material, thus increasing the company's revenue. However, Neves knew that the implications of such a machine could be disastrous for the economy, and he declined to work on the project. His boss was furious at Neves's refusal and promptly fired him on the spot. Neves was shocked and stunned, but he knew that he had made the right decision. As he stepped out of the Tli building into the rain, he could feel the small droplets hitting his face, and he couldn't help but feel a sense of numbness. He had worked for Tli for ten years, and now, he was out of a job, but he didn’t need one, as his last paycheck was enough for him to retire. He had started building a little lab in his basement, to continue his entertainment, and had found something, something very scary, something that could end the world with its powerfulness. After years of discovery, he had been able to find out, but now it is time to build it, but we are getting ahead ourselves, we must now go back in time to see how we got here. Chapter II -The Past- Neves's past was a difficult one, filled with darkness and tragedy. He was born into a strict family, and his childhood was marked by the loss of his two sisters. They both died at the age of 16 in a murder case that still remains unsolved to this day. The incident shook Neves's family to its core and left them reeling with grief and pain. After the loss of his sisters, Neves became the only child in the family. But his misfortunes did not end there. His father was later found dead outside next to the garbage. It was understood that he had died from a heart attack, but the circumstances surrounding his death were mysterious and left Neves with many unanswered questions. With his two sisters and father gone, Neves was left with his mother as the only living relative. However, their relationship was far from perfect. Neves's mother had always been strict and distant, and they never saw eye to eye on anything. Their relationship was strained, and there were times when they would go for days without speaking to each other. Despite the difficulties of his past, Neves was determined to make a better life for himself. He turned to science as a way to escape the pain and tragedy of his past. Science gave him a sense of purpose and direction, and it helped him to find meaning in his life. Neves knew that he could never change the past, but he was determined to shape his future into something better. H Neves often thought about his parents and their wasted potential. Both were geniuses, but they never got the chance to fully explore their talents and passions. Instead, they spent their lives working day in and day out to make ends meet. After the incident with his sisters, Neves isolated himself from others. He found it difficult to trust people, and the thought of being controlled by others terrified him. He had become a recluse, spending most of his time in his lab, working on his experiments and inventions. The little boy was in love with inventing, he had started inventing since he was 7, and his parents knew he would be different, so they were very strict on the little and weird boy, he had gotten a best friend, who was not very smart, and his parents hated his best friend so much, because they thought he would affect their little baby, that they did everything in their power to stop them from talking to each other, and it had worked, but it really affected the little boys feelings, as now he was the laugh stock of the school, but sooner or later, it would all end. At only the age of 12 he started to invent things 25-year-olds are usually caught inventing, although his parents took the inventions and sold them to big companies so they wouldn’t have to work again, which is a partial reason of why he hated both of them so much, one day he had made an invention that would scare anybody, it was a jumps scare machine, he put it under one of his classmate’s( one that always made fun of Neves a lot) and waited, the classmate sat down and when he wasn’t expecting it, a big, black, horrifying monster of a clown appeared out of nowhere, making him almost have a seizure, no one knew who put it there. He was 14 when his sisters died, and he wasn’t sad at all, almost like by that age, he had lost his emotion, he hadn’t shown a lot of emotions since the age of 14, and his sister's death meant nothing to him, he was like an owl in the night, they don’t know anything about you. 3 years later his father also died, and again, he had no emotions, he just stood there like a tree, his mother had almost killed herself because of all the pain in just 4 years, and it wouldn’t do any better than a year later her son left her to be lonely, she managed to find a sustainable job, but wouldn’t have a good relationship with her son, as he would block her in every way imaginable. They wouldn’t meet again for a while. Neves had moved out and found a good job in a small company called Tli, which grew into one of the biggest companies soon. One day as Neves was on a break at the Tli building, he stumbled against someone, someone that said something he would never forget: “Hey how is it going?” said the man “Not too much so far, just another normal day at work, nothing unusual so far, you?” replied Neves “Oh nothing. Did you hear what Tli is now working on?” answered the man “No, not yet, what is it, something crazy, I mean what can it be, we have made everything we need so far.” “This information is top secret, and a friend of mine told me about it, Tli is now working on a time machine, they had just started researching and got their best scientists to work, I mean you're like the best person here, I thought they would have hired you too!” “Oh, wow I didn’t know, something is wrong with this company now, I mean they went from just inventing stuff to all this, it's almost like a story we are in, huh?” “Yeah” “Am going to retire soon anyways, I can't wait for sweet retirement” “Oh really, have a good retirement then!” “Thank you, I will catch up to you later!” Chapter III -Discovery- One day as Neves had finished eating breakfast, he decided to scroll into the deep internet, and managed to stumble against the same man that told him about the time machine, almost instantly it clicked, he had everything to build it. It was time for an adventure, after he had found out that he could, technically, build the one thing that humankind has been wanting for years, he started, first, he needed a metal, a metal so strong that it could ensure that traveling through time itself and it can endure it, he needed to find a metal that’s organized well too, for that he needed to travel far into the universe that he had lived in, he needed a spaceship and some space gear, he went into Tli requesting permission to barrow a spaceship of theirs, which they rejected, after leaving he walked into their sidewalk for a while until he stumbled against their waste materials, he strapped himself in because he knew he was in a treat for sure. “Alright it is time to dive in,” said Neves. “What are you doing?” Laughed the garbage man. “Searching for some materials, why would you care?” Replied Neves “You look stupid, I will just let you be, "smirked the garbage man. After a short interruption, he got back to researching in his little dream of trash, after almost stabbing himself with a giant needle, he got all the materials he needed, and walked to the street nearby, ordering a truck to come to pick up all the materials. The truck driver was surprised by the size of the objects! On the way the compelling force of one of the metals behind called: NitroOnium, and they end up crashing very badly into a giant rock, the driver died, and Neves was terribly injured but managed to escape the fire of hell surrounding the car, on the way out he found a card dropped down, it was a Tli card, the driver was a spy for Tli getting information out of Neves, thankfully he escaped, not soon after extinguished the the fire flames department that almost came in caused a forest fire, the materials were fire-proof and unharmed, he got home safely not long after and was able to steal instructions on how to build a spaceship from Tli. He collected the materials and melted most, putting them in shape containers to give them a specific shape, after that he combined all of them like a puzzle piece, some parts were hallowed to put the engines on, but he needed something to fuel it, so he went back to Tli, secretly, going into their building, sneaking behind the corners, almost getting caught and was able to enter their garden room, where he stole 15 Eflowers from a crate, Eflowers help fuel engines like oil but better, after going back home and fueling the machine, he got in and went on a test drive, he opened the engine and almost fell off because of the speed the Eflower had given the machine, he reached the moon very fast, in about 10 mins, he knew that the jet was small but could still work. Chapter IV -Finding the Multiverse- He started off by exploring the moon, collecting samples, it was now what his hobby is, he would go out on space-drives, where he would just fly around with his jet, until one day, he stumbles against a red planet, he needed a break, so he got out and into the planet he went, as he was walking by and stretching, he stumbled against a red orb, it looked really blurry, he tried entering, but got pushed out, he fell on the red musty grass, this time he tried with force, and managed to go in, he had seen something unseen before, 7 pillars, in a circular pattern, just standing there, with drawings on the ground, he explored and took photos, these didn’t look human, he was asking himself if humans were alone in this universe, but whatever it is, it gave him power when he entered, he felt divine, stronger than ever, almost like it was giving the power, but he was smart, he knew it was trying to control him and lure him, or at least he thought, then he heard his families voice calling for him, it was the first time in years he had felt horror, his heart fell into an ocean filled with cold ice water, he ran back to his jet without looking bad, through the red musty grass, getting into his plane, and escaping, he didn’t know what had happened, and what those 7 pillars were, without saving their location, he left. He went back home and studied the pictures he took. It looked like he had almost seen it before, the dark red Brickstone was for sure not normal for it to spawn. After close analysis, he decided to leave the project and continue with his life, as it was either Tli, another secret company, or just a natural structure. Another day of exploring had come around, and as he got into his, very smooth, clean-shaped jet, and flew very far away, he felt something, the same feeling as the 7 pillars, almost like it was attracting him by a mysterious force, it wasn’t human anymore, and now for sure, he knew. The mystery had just begun, and it looked like it was going to be harder than ever, as it was not explored by humans yet, so there were no theories, facts, books, or sites on such objects, he had to start from 0, going back home, he worked, he worked all night, drunk coffee every bit, he was going crazy, not understanding this puzzle placed by god himself, it was something else, something straight out of a movie, and he needed more information, but where would such one place exist, a place where all the information he may seek for? With all the technological advancements and years of exploration of the universe, it was only logical that the first idea that came to him was “Tli,” because he knew that they had some information to give him an edge. He was not able to simply enter the grounds of Tli and take the information out, he needed a plan, and for a plan he needed a partner, a partner he may trust, at his current moment, no one existed, and planning to go in one of the most secret bases in the world was a hard task, a task most wouldn’t even dare to think about, but he was one of the few he guessed. There were many factors that he had to be careful about: #1 Security: Tli has strong security so breaching it wouldn’t be such an easy task after-all, he needed a way to go in, and that's where his old card came in, you see Tli gave all its employees a card to be able to enter and leave without any trouble from security, even though his card was old, he could just say that the card is broken. #2 The inner building: The inside of the building is even more secure than over as it has many security guards in their cars roaming around the building, and if one of the employees recognized him, he would be caught, and it could end badly for him. #3 The folders room: Entering the folders room is the 2nd most secure area in the building as it contains everything ranging from secret folders of flying cars to weapons that may be able to end the world. #4 Escaping: Escaping is going to be harder, as he needs a way to stop the alarm system, it would be hard, but there are different ways to do so. He had a plan ready; he would enter the building with his old ID card tricking the guards, using a fake mask that Tli provides for children as a way to make profit, he bought one and decided to use it on his face to not be spotted by the guards, he can now safely enter the folders room, but he couldn’t send any information to his device as it would be sent to the chief’s office, he needed to print it using his own device, but then he would need a working ID which he didn’t have, stealing one would be hard, as then it would increase the chances of being caught, so he needed a way to print it without the alarm going off, thankfully he had been working there for a while, so he knew a lot, by just putting the electrical charge off, it would work. Now it was time to follow the plan instructions, he went in and showed his old ID card to the security guard, whom allowed him to enter without any trouble or issues, then came the part where no one had to recognized him, and this is where the first mistake of the mission played out, a worker had tried starting a conversation, he knew that worker, but he couldn’t talk as he would recognize his voice, and he didn’t have a voice changer, so he decided to act sick by coughing out loud, the worker understood that he couldn’t talk and skipped him, now he needed to go back in the rooms and input a device that will shut down the electricity so the alarm, nor a message will be alerted/sent, then he went back, found the folders room, entered and printed out the paper, and in a few milliseconds the electricity went off, the machine self-destructed its-self and he was able to leave with no harm. He had stolen every single piece of information from them, he couldn’t believe it was that easy to steal so much from a large company... He returned home. Finding food in his fridge was a struggle, as he didn’t go out a lot, but now he had a purpose and the purpose was to do 1 thing, and 1 thing only, to find out what those 7 pillars were, and what type of energy was that, as he felt more powerful than ever, he grabbed a chips and a soda can, so he walked to the garage/lab. [House door opens silently from an agent] Starting to study, he found out that they had been trying to find this divine energy for decades, to create a time machine, and for world control, he had now known that he had to step in. [Footsteps] He knew it was important to help the world. [Footsteps get louder] As the sun went down, and the brightness of the moon came up from hell, he knew someone was there, and he wasn’t there to greet him, but to brutely injure him, it wasn’t his first time having a fight with these agents, it would be his 3rd. The door opened in a burst, almost like the wall beside it was broken, a man entered the lab, pulling out a gun, and started shooting everywhere, Neves and to lure him out, as he didn’t want any of his equipment to break by the gunfire caused by the agent, he was able to escape with the backdoor, where he went into an alley, the agent chased him down, and in the alley he wondered where Neves had went, until suddenly, all he saw was darkness by a bag placed over him, and then he just felt a lot of pain, next thing he knew he was knocked out cold. Chapter V -The semi stages- The agent tried to rub the headache away from his temples, trying to focus on Neves, who was standing in front of him. He had known Neves for years, but he had never seen him so serious before. The agent knew Neves was a brilliant but dangerous man, and he knew better than to cross him. Neves's words had a chilling effect on the agent. He knew that Neves was not someone to be taken lightly, and he didn't want to risk his life by being anything but honest with him. He took a deep breath and tried to compose himself before speaking. Neves was a man of few words, but when he spoke, he made sure his words carried weight. The agent listened intently as Neves spoke, his voice low and controlled. Neves was asking him questions about the mission he had assigned to the agent, and the agent knew that he had to be careful with his answers. As the conversation went on, the agent began to feel a sense of unease. There was something in Neves's tone that made him feel as though he was walking on thin ice. He knew that one wrong word could be the difference between life and death. Despite the danger, the agent knew that he had to be honest with Neves. He answered all of his questions truthfully, hoping that his answers would satisfy Neves and prevent any further harm from coming his way. “Hello old friend,” said Neves. “What were you doing there!” Replied the agent. “I ask the questions around here,” said Neves. “And since when was that?” Replied the agent. “Last time I checked I am the one who isn’t tied up and has the gun” “Fine, what do you want” “Why did they send you” “To fulfil the job” “What job” “Didn’t you hear, they placed a bounty on you, 500 million dollars!” “Why would they put such an amount on me?” “You stole billions maybe even trillions dollars of information, what did you expect” of [Bang] [knocking on the door] Neves answer it peacefully, it was an old woman that had asked if he was alright, as he had heard some gunfire shots, he did confirm he was alright and it was a speaker that made that sound, he apologized, and she went home. He had just finished studying the documents, and understood everything, he had to take control over the 7 pillars before Tli does, and now with a big bounty on him, he needed partners, so on the jet he went. Once Neves had learned of the existence of other beings, his curiosity had been piqued. He had heard of Tli, the cruel organization that had been torturing them for years. With this knowledge, Neves had set out to find other allies to join his cause against Tli. He had heard rumors of a secret bunker where a prison full of aliens was being held, and he had landed on the planet to investigate. Neves had sneaked into the dark prison, searching for the key to open the cells. He had found the key, but there was a sleeping guard close to it, making it a risky endeavor to take it. However, Neves had managed to sneak his way through and had decided to take the key instead of pulling the cell-button that would have opened all the cells. He didn't want to release everyone, and He also didn't want to set off the alarm system. After some searching, Neves had found three allies: an avatar, a Goblin, and a mob. They had formed a bond and had already completed several missions together to free other prisons from the clutches of Tli. However, their success had not gone unnoticed, and Tli had taken Neves's dog into custody, sparking an all-out war between the two organizations. Both Neves and Tli were after the location of the seven pillars, a mythical location that had been theorized to hold immense power. Neves had stumbled upon its location by accident but had not saved it at the time. Thus, the search for the seven pillars had begun, and both organizations were determined to find it first. As the search continued, tensions rose between Neves and Tli, and it became clear that only one organization would come out on top. The fate of the universe hung in the balance, and Neves knew that he and his allies had to be ready for whatever came their way. They had to find the seven pillars before Tli did and use its power to bring an end to Tli's reign of terror once and for all. After 50 days of hard work and relentless effort, Neves had finally managed to locate the seven pillars. The location was far away, and he knew that he needed a bigger spaceship to get there. With the help of his goblin-made robots, he tirelessly worked to build a large spaceship that would take him and his allies to the pillars. However, his plans were interrupted by a message from Tli. Although the sound was unclear, Neves was able to make out some words like "Dog", "Give", "Your Mother", "Secret", "Location", "7", "Pillars", and "Karbaham". He knew that Tli had his mother and dog in custody, and they were demanding the secret location of the pillars. The word "Karbaham" caught Neves's attention, as he knew it was a large bomb that could destroy the entirety of Europe. With no other options, Neves had to give in and reveal the secret location to Tli to save countless lives. As soon as he had given away the secret location, Neves and his allies had to act fast. They finished the construction of the big spaceship and set out to reach the pillars before Tli did. The stakes were high, and they knew that they couldn't afford to waste any time. The journey was long and perilous, but they remained determined to reach their destination. With each passing moment, the pressure mounted, and Neves couldn't shake off the feeling that Tli was always one step ahead of him. He knew that he and his allies had to be ready for whatever came their way, and they had to act fast to prevent Tli from gaining control of the pillars. The fate of the universe hung in the balance, and Neves knew that failure was not an option. Chapter VI -Finale- As they made their way towards their destination, the atmosphere was thick with tension. The journey was grueling, with no opportunity for rest, as the looming threat of the Tli hung over them like a dark cloud. They knew they had to be prepared for anything, as this journey promised to be a long and perilous one, filled with terror and heartpumping adrenaline. The anxiety among both organizations was palpable, as they had not been able to fully equip themselves with all the necessary supplies and tools for this daunting task ahead. The weight of their unpreparedness added to the already escalating sense of dread, making every step they took feel like an insurmountable feat. Every moment felt like a battle, a test of their strength and resilience against the unknown. Despite all the challenges that lay ahead, they pushed forward, determined to reach their destination and achieve their goal, no matter what it took. After what felt like an eternity, the group finally arrived on the planet with the red grass, their hearts pounding with anticipation and fear. Their mission was clear - they had to find the 7 pillars, no matter what it took. But as soon as they landed, they realized that the Tli had already arrived, and they were dangerously close. The group braced themselves for a fight, knowing that they were outnumbered and outgunned. And so, a war broke out, with gunfire and explosions echoing throughout the planet. The ground shook with each explosion, sending clouds of dust and debris into the air. It was a scene straight out of a horror movie, with the group struggling to stay alive amidst the chaos and destruction. Despite the mayhem, the group managed to keep their wits about them, relying on their training and instincts to guide them through the battle. The goblin-robots, which had been brought along as support, were the only ones harmed during the fight, much to the relief of the crew. However, the same could not be said for the Tli, who suffered heavy losses at the hands of the group. As the dust settled and the last echoes of gunfire faded away, the group stood victorious for now but more were coming. They knew that their journey was far from over, and that they still had to find the 7 pillars. But for now, they allowed themselves a moment to catch their breath and steel themselves for the challenges ahead. Amidst the constant threat, Mob's height proved to be an asset. His towering stature allowed him to see far beyond the trees, scanning the horizon for any signs of danger. And it was during one such moment of observation that Mob spotted something peculiar - a red orb, glowing in the distance like a shield. Neves, who had studied the legends surrounding the 7 pillars extensively, immediately recognized the orb as a significant clue. It could only mean one thing - the location of the 7th and final pillar. The group knew that they had to follow the trail and find the pillar at all costs, even if it meant facing the Tli head-on. With their resolve renewed, they set off towards the red orb, their hearts beating with a mix of fear and excitement, but they were being followed... As the group finally arrived at the location of the 7th pillar, they were ambushed by the Tli. The sudden attack caught them off guard, and they were quickly captured and tied up. It seemed like all hope was lost, and the mission had failed. But the Avatar, with his slender frame, managed to slip free from the ropes and escape. He quickly untied the rest of the group, and they set off in pursuit of the Tli. As they chased their enemy through the maze-like terrain, tension was high, and the danger was palpable. In the chaos of the chase, Neves was caught by one of the Tli soldiers. He was about to be blasted to death when Mob, with his towering height, intervened. Mob took the blast instead, sacrificing himself to save Neves. The loss of Mob was a devastating blow to the group, and Neves was overcome with grief and rage. He felt a surge of power coursing through his veins, and he burst out flying towards the Tli, his eyes blazing with fury. As Neves unleashed his wrath upon the Tli, he felt something strange happening. He could feel the power of the 7 pillars flowing into him, filling him with knowledge and understanding beyond his wildest dreams. He realized, with a shock, that he was the one who had killed his two sisters, and he was the one who killed his father, as when his father tried to take out the trash, while opening the trash can, old Neves came out, giving his father a heart-attack, he couldn't bare it and caused a giant explosion, wiping out all of Tli and the planet, the 7 pillars were no more, the avatar and the goblin escaped, but they were wondering, has Neves died?
