Lesson Plan: Vocabulary – Feelings
The Objectives of The Lesson: By the end of the lesson, the student will be able to:





Know feelings and what they mean.
Describe how they feel.
Feel empathy to others.
Give answers: ‘I feel x’.
Express their feelings in the proper way.
Student Profile:
Age:10-12 Years
Class: 5/A
Numbers: 30 Students
Duration:40 Minutes
Materials:Smart Board, Worksheets, Musics, animations and stories and some materials.
Warm-Up: (10 mins)
The teacher enters the class and greets the class. He asks them how they feel and
after getting answers from class, he explains his feelins via gestures.
Then teacher tells the class that they are going to listen to a song, after explaining
teacher proceeds to play the song.
After Playing the song teacher opens some flash cards and shows students the
feelings and makes them repeat what he says.
Presentation: (15 mins)
The teacher then shows an animation to students that explains the feelings. He
emphasizes on what he taught.
After that he hands out worksheets and gives students 5 minutes to finish it.
In the end teacher plays a story which emphasizes the topic further and better.
While doing these, teacher stresses the feelings by explaining them in simpler
words.

Practice: (5 mins)
In this stage teacher divides the class into groups and makes them talk about their
feelings for a couple of minutes, in the end teacher gets feedbacks from the class.
Production: (10 mins)
Teacher brings out a hat and puts some folded papers in it. He asks the class if
anyone wants to get up.
After the students get up, he explains the game. Teacher will play a music and
students will hand the hat to each other, when the teacher stops the music the last student that
has the hat will pull a paper. When student pulls the paper he/she will open the paper and
show the feeling with gestures and the class will guess it.
In the end teacher will hand out homeworks and ends the class.
