Syber Security Road Map (CompTIA Way)
CompTIA recently launched a major expansion of its credentialing program with the introduction of
CompTIA Stackable Certifications, which are earned by achieving a combination of related
CompTIA certifications along the CompTIA infrastructure or cybersecurity pathways. Stackable
certifications recognize deep expertise and strong commitment to continuous professional
development and growth. Students do not need to do anything additional to earn these certifications.
If a student has earned the relevant individual certifications, he will automatically receive the
appropriate stackable certification.
CompTIA Stackable Certifications follow the two CompTIA Career Pathways:



CompTIA Cybersecurity Career Pathway

Specialist (early-career IT professionals with 0–2 years of experience)
 A+ and Network+ = CompTIA IT Operations Specialist (CIOS)
 A+ and Linux+ = CompTIA Systems Support Specialist (CSSS)
Professional (mid-level IT professionals with 2–5 years of experience)
 Network+ and Cloud+ = CompTIA Cloud Admin Professional (CCAP)
 Network+ and Server+ = CompTIA Network Infrastructure Professional (CNIP)
 Network+ and Linux+ = CompTIA Linux Network Professional (CLNP)
