Ang kalikasan ang pangunahing pinagkukunan natin ng ating pang-araw-araw na
pangangailangan, mapa-pagkain, inumin, o pagkakakitaan man. Ngunit, sa mga
nagdaang taon, tila napapabayaan na natin ang ating inang yaman, tayong mga tao,
na unang nakikinabang sa angking yaman nito ang siyang sumisira rin nito.
Pagmasdan nalang natin ang ating mga ilog at karagatan, puno ng mga basura na
sumisira sa tahanan ng mga lamang-dagat. Halika naman at tumingin sa ating mga
kabundukan, puro patag at establisiyimento nalang ang ating matatagpuan. Tignan
mo ang mga puno, puro kalahati na lamang, mga ibon ay wala nang masisisilungan.
Mga mata ay itutok sa sangkatauhan, pilit na nag-aasam ng kaunlaran. Pera at salapi
lang ang pinapahalagahan, huthot nang huthot nalang kay inang kalikasan. Sa
patuloy nating pag-asam sa kaunlaran, paano na ang ating tahanan?
*Intro*
Aileen, a young brat from a prominent family, and a daughter of an environmental
officer, always disagrees with her mom when it comes to taking care of nature, born
with a silver spoon in her plate, she is used to getting everything that she wanted.
She doesn't even bother to save energy and water in their home and she's not even
interested in joining her mom to her environmental activities. That's why, when a
typhoon hits their town, her mom died due to car accident because of landslide
when she's about to go home. This is when karma hits her way as she mourn for the
death of her mother and realizes that if she only followed her mom's advice in taking
care of the environment, her misfortune would not happen.
From then, Aileen became a volunteer for several youth and enviornment
organizations, she did everything that she can to help the environment, from
planting trees, to conserving water, and educating others about environmental
welfare. She offered all of her great deeds for her deceased mother.
SEQUENCE #1 (Home)
*Sound: Running Water in CR*
Mother (Preparing to go to office in a green unifrom): Aileen, ilang beses ko nang
sinasabi sayo, turn off the faucet if not used! Pati ang lights sa CR! You are wasting
water and energy!
Aileen: Whatever, mommy! Duh, we have money naman to pay our water and
electrical bills, why worry about saving water and lights?
Mother: Hays, Aileen. II don't know what to do with you!
SEQUENCE #2 (School)
Teacher: So today, we will be having a tree planting activity to help our environment,
who wants to join?
*Everyone raised their hand except for Aileen*
Teacher: How about you, Aileen? Are you not interested, you're mom is a proud
environmentalist, don't you want to do the same?
Aileen: Tree planting, are you serious ma'am? Me, holding dirt and planting these
seeds? Ew, no thank you. Ayaw kong maging katulad ni mommy na sinasayang ang
oras for useless things.
Teacher: You will regret your attitude in the future, Aileen, you will regret it.
SEQUENCE #3 (Home)
*From the TV: Ayon sa PAGASA, may paparating na bagyo sa ating bayan, maaring
magdala ito ng malakas na mga ulan, pagbaha at maaring magdulot rin ng landslide.
Pinapayuhan ang mga residente na manatili sa kanilang mga tahanan upang
makaiwas sa mga aksidente at peligro.
Aileen: YAYYY! There's a bagyo coming! There's no class na naman!Hays, I can sleep
all day!
later that night, its already 9 P.M. and her mom has not yet to arrived home.
*Sound of thunderstorms and rain
Aileen: It's late na ah, bakit wala pa kaya si mom? She should be here anytime now.
*phone rings*
Caller: This is the municipal risk and safety officer speaking, nais po naming ipaalam
sa inyo na ang inyong ina na si _______________ ay natagpuang walang buhay sa
loob ng kanyang sasakyan matapos matambakan ng lupa dahil sa landslide.
Kasalukuyan po siyang nasa morgue.
*Aileen broke to tears as she heard the news.
Aileen: No! This can't be happening! You're lying officer, you are lying!
*end call sound*
After weeks of mourning, Aileen decided to repent her past mistakes for her mother.
*Aileen talking to her mom's picture*
Aileen: I'm sorry ma, I'm sorry for dissapointing you. I promise, I'll change.

* clean up drive moments*
Aileen (vlogging): Hi guys, this is your girlie, Aileen! Right now, I'm planting trees with
my co-volunteers because we're
