Inclusivity In Diversity, Equity to Equality, For the Youth SUBJECT: INCLUSIVITY is the practice or policy of providing equal access to opportunities and resources for people who might otherwise be excluded or marginalized, such as those having physical or intellectual disabilities or belonging to other minority groups. EQUITY is the quality of being fair, impartial and recognizing imbalances and giving more attention and importance to those who really needs. PROBLEM: Whereas, the mistreatment that is currently happening amongst the youth. the discrimination experienced by youth is becoming increasingly problematic. This results in unequal opportunities and triggers a human’s nature to be envious. Whereas, not only are the youth suffering but also their love ones, having endure the worrisome feeling knowing that their love one has problems. Bullying can be experienced by the victim, whether physically or online. EXISTING PROJECTS: GENDER AND DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM Shall refer to a development perspective which promotes greater focus on people both as development agents and participants. It encourages the equal contributions of women and men in all aspects of development. Such a perspective involves the process of searching of new and innovative initiatives which help transform unequal gender relations into opportunities which equally both men and women. GENDER EQUALITY Is the role required by or expected of women and men as prescribed by society. As a key to development, gender equality means the equal empowerment and participation of women, men and other subgroups of society, i.e., homosexuals, in all spheres of public and private life. Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Workplace Gender Equality Agency Philippine Commission on Women Fundamental Rights Agency RESOLUTIONS: Resolved that, the mistreatment shall be fixed by those who have experience and can lead. As a youth, we should speak up on the matters that are timely and relevant to avoid discrimination, and we must change the negative thoughts to maintain a healthy relationship with the youth and their fellows. Resolved that, we recommend the youth to cooperate with the said agencies to avoid discrimination and its effects. Equal treatment and rights for all. Resolved that, the subject VALUES/ESP can be use as tool to educate the youth to open their heart for empathy and a rational mind to have positive thoughts that’ll help us through.
