Science and Technology Writing New World Health Organization (WHO) Report Reveals Alarming Levels Of Air Pollution Across The Globe New data released according to a Monash University study has found an alarming percentage of the world’s leading environmental health risk factor - that only 0.18% of the global land area and 0.001% of the global population are exposed to levels of PM2.5 . The study highlights that lack of pollution monitoring stations globally for air pollution, has meant a lack of data on local, national, regional and global PM2.5 esposure. The release of the WHO report comes amid growing concern about the impact of air pollution on public health and the environment.
