SOLUTIONS TO BREATHING PROBLEM DUE TO RAW SEWAGE
Definition of raw sewage
Sewage that has not yet been processed or treated to separate and remove
contaminates. It comes from residential properties, like houses and apartments, as well
as commercial buildings and industrial processes. Toilet flushing and other types of
human waste which can also be part of sewage as they may contain things as toilet
paper and wipes.
What causes raw sewage?
Flushing anything down the toilet that are made of plastic or non-biodegradable,
sanitary towels and napkins which can travel through the sewers and end on back on
our beaches.
Implication sewage does on humans.
It causes fever, abdominal pains, diarrhea, and vomiting.

● Lack of maintenance
● Urbanization due to the physical disturbance of land due to the constructions of
houses and roads.
● Everyone in the community but mostly children and people with chronic diseases
because of their weak immune system.
● Community members are responsible because they build houses on top of
sewage pipe lines without any inspections or land survey.
● The municipality is also to blame since they do not maintain the sewage systems.
● The municipality must maintain the sewage system every 5 years.
● PVC pipes and STORM pipes for good quality and specious.
● Bacterias and micro-organisms.
