HISTORY OF PRIRATES
A pirate is a person who steals or robs from ships. Pirates have existed
since ancient times [eg: 800 BC plus]. In 800 BC and over, there were
people called ‘The Lebanons’ and they had a lot of ships carrying
valuable items across the Mediterranean Sea. The pirates would rob and
attack the ships that carried valuable items and take them back to their
country as their own. In the Mediterranean Sea in the 1st century BC
pirates ‘lived’ in the ocean or camped out in the ocean and await the
arrival of the Lebanons with their gold/valuable items.
