Activity 1 - “Multiple Choice”
Directions: Choose the letter of the best answer. Write the
answers on your paper. You have 5 seconds to answer after
each question.

what is an adverb? ADVERB is a word or phrase that
modifies a verb, an adjective, or another adverb. Today,
we will be focusing on the adverb of time.

and answer the following activity.

Directions: Read and understand each sentence. Rewrite
each sentence using the appropriate adverb of time. You
may choose your answer from the parentheses. You are
given 5 minutes to answer.

3. My sister is celebrating her debut on (May 22, 2023, May
22, 2022).
4. I am visiting my grandparents (tomorrow afternoon,
yesterday afternoon).
5. My family and I had dinner at Tuburan Streat Food
(next weekend, last night).

Directions: Fill in the sentences with the correct adverb of
time. Write the answer on your answer sheet. You may
choose the answer from the word pool. You have 10
seconds to answer each item.
