is now more and more focus on water

pandemic.

Vietnam has 381 industrial zones
using wastewater treatment plants
for treating about 1 million m3 of
wastewater per day from tens of
thousands production facilities,
where many (industrial) companies
are located which have good
infrastructure and accessibility.

Registered FDI to Vietnam in 2022
reached nearly US$27.72 billion
and a record disbursement of
US$22.4 billion. The number of
newly registered FDI projects
reached 2,036 projects, up 17.1%
over the same period.
Vietnam’s water market stood at
$263.77 million in 2021 and is
expected to grow at a compound
annual growth rate (CAGR) of 9.88
per cent in 2023-2027 to reach
$448.21 million by 2027.

The Ho Chi Minh City - Moc Bai highway & Xuyen
Tam canal project have been approved
The goal by 2030 is to harmonise and distribute water resources
fairly and reasonably among sectors, localities, and water exploiters
and users according to the integrated planning of inter-provincial
river basins.
The People's Council of Ho Chi Minh City approved the
investment policy of the project of dredging and
renovating Xuyen Tam canal (9,700 billion VND) and the
construction investment project of the Ho Chi Minh City
- Moc Bai highway (6,000 billion VND).
Vietnam – Israel Intensifying Cooperation in
Aquaculture, Water Treatment
Invest more than 2,000 billion VND to build 9 new
bridges in the Mekong Delta
According to VCCI Vice President Nguyen Quang Vinh, the trade
turnover between Vietnam and Israel in the first half of this year
reached US$1.14 billion, up 55% over the same period in 2021,
so the two sides need to further strengthen cooperation in this
area. In addition, Vietnam wants Israel to share experience in
formulating policies to support start-ups, promoting innovation
development, science and technology, especially in smart
agriculture and high-technology aquaculture.
The Minister of Transport signed the Decision approving
the investment project of the project to raise the air space
of road bridges crossing the national inland waterway - phase
1 (southern area). Accordingly, this project has the goal
of building 9 new bridges, upgrading and renovating 1
bridge and removing 1 bridge crossing national inland
waterways in order to improve the transport infrastructure
system in the Dong Nai region. along the Mekong River,
helping to synchronously exploit waterway transport on
the whole route.
