PRACTICUM 1 AND 2 PROJECT PROPOSAL PROPOSAL TITLE: iCOVID: A mobile-based COVID 19 summary and comparison app. PROPONENTS NAME: -Jorelle Sison -Renz Palacio DESCRIPTION OF THE PROPOSAL: The app helps inform the users about the summary and history of the COVID 19 pandemic, the preventive measures and hygiene control, General information on the laws about being on quarantine or on lock down, valuable fact checked information and articles from WHO(World Health Organization), and lastly helpful articles from News media sites, The app also tracks the statistics of Positive cases, PUIs and PUMs, aswell as the Recovered Cases in the affected locations by the COVID 19 pandemic, via Google maps style UI and a statistics panel on the side when searching or sorting information from the location. IDENTIFIED MODULES AND ASSIGNMENT: Information Module -History and what we know as of now (A panel that informs the user of the history of COVID 19 and where it came from) -Preventive measures and hygiene control (A panel dedicated to hygiene and preventive measures of COVID 19) -live list of links from WHO covering COVID 19 (An automated update list that tracks articles coming from WHO about COVID 19) -live list of links from News Media sites covering COVID 19 (An automated update list that tracks multiple News articles about COVID 19) Statistics Module -Sort or Search by Location and if Positive, PUI, PUM, and Recovered -Interactive Globe with Statistic Panel on the side (An interactive scaled down version of Google maps that you can navigate to know information regarding Positive cases, PUIs and PUMs, and Recovered cases.)
