As be seen from the graph, employment was the key factor leading to residents being displaced, while the least important reason was adventure, which is lower than moving for family and friends. In addition, moving for academic purposes witnessed the steed increase near the end of the period. The proportion of relocating for work started at 60,000 in 2000, then rose steadily to over 85,000 in 2005 before reaching the highest record of the period, at about 92,000. Although, it was the only strategy that experienced a fall, finishing at around 88,000 in 2015. While moving to study saw a moderate increase in 5 years at the start, from 25,000 to 48,000, and again at the end of the period, this figure rose significantly to 88,000 after seeing a gradual growth of about 5,000 from 2005 to 2010. According to the line graph, the number of residents displaced for family and friends had the same start as adventure’s figure, at 11,000 in 2000. Then the adventure strategy maintained a slight rise by 5,000 (11,000 to 15,000) at the end while the figure for family and friends climbed substantially to 22,000 over the first 10 years. After that, this figure rose modestly by 1,000 and leveled at approximately 23,000, becoming the second-least motivative reason to relocate after adventure.
