Cash and Cash Equivalent

offset- something that counterbalances, counteracts, or compensates for something else; compensating
equivalent.
maturity- A maturity date is the date when the final payment is due for a loan, bond or other financial
product.
bank overdraft- cash in bank account that has a credit balance
undelivered or unreleased check- recorded but not given to the payee before the end of the reporting
period
post dated check- check drawn, recorded & already given to the payee but it bears a date subsequent to
the end of reporting period
stale check- a check that was not encashed by the payee within a period of time
