Hello, every body. My name is khaled. 1So, now that we know what is the European union and
why the UK has lest it, let us now divulge into the positive as well as the negative political
aspects that the UK had as a member of the European Union.
-before we start, can any of you guess what are the benefits and disadvantages for the uk in the
eu ?
**if they started answering** Am not going to say, whether you are correct or wrong; I just
want to head your opinions on the matter.
The Merits and Drawbacks for the UK as a member of the European Union:
The European Union is a supranational political and economic union of 27 member states
that are located primarily in Europe. Upon joining it, the United Kingdom gained many
advantages and disadvantages.

The Merits for the UK as a Member of the European Union:
1. By being a part of the EU, the United Kingdom benefits from trade deals between
the EU and other world powers.
2. The European Union is the main trading partner for the UK
3. By pooling sovereignty, the UK is able to exercise more global influence as part of
the EU than by itself.
4. With the nations of Europe working together, it has created a society that is
somewhat borderless for travel purposes; allowing citizens of its members to travel ,
live, and work freely
5. The EU creates a stronger level of international security

to live in the UK ; causing the rate of immigration to skyrocket.
