In some countries, owning a home rather than renting is very important for people Why might be the case? Do you think this is a positive or negative situation? In particular countries, for people having a house rather than renting one is crucial. I believe, there are some fundemental reasons for this situation but one of them stands out; economic conditions. Also, in my opinion, it is resulted in disadvantages for people. First of all, economic conditions have huge impacts on people who do not have any house especially in poor countries. This is the major cause of this situation because rent payments has the biggest share in monthly spends for people. Moreover, it is not affordable in the long run. Why rent payments cover most of the budget in month for a person? Because in most countries construction and real estate one of the most valuable and lucrative sectors. Additionally, bad economic figures in these countries causes increasing rents. Although prices of houses increase simultaneously, it is still more senseful that having a house rather than renting. For instance, people take credits in Turkey from the banks with a long run payment and montly credit payment almost equals the rent. This conditions encourage to people to buy a house. According to me, it is a negative situation because people work for years to buy a house and after eventually they have a home, they became old individuals who miss beauties and opportunities of the world. So, people should not spend their lifes to buy a house or anything. For example, people can attend lots of courses or travel rather than paying these credits if renting is relatively cheaper. Taking everything into consideration, today in several countries, people try to buy a house while they can rent and it is essential milestone on their lives. In my opinion it has a negative impression on them overall.
