Camila: Welcome to our company, Rita. I’m Camila, it’s a pleasure to meet you. Rita: Thank you, nice to meet you too. Camila: So, how are you today? Rita: I’m fine, thanks for asking. Camila: Great. I hope we haven´t kept you waiting too long. Rita: Oh no, don’t worry, I even had a chance to speak with some of your engineers while I was waiting, and everyone/everybody seems very nice. Camila: Oh, that’s wonderful. Shall we get started? Rita: Yes, of course. Camila: First, let me introduce myself. I'm the human resource manager of our engineering department here and we have an open position, so we've been interviewing candidates to fill the position as quickly as possible. Rita: Yes, miss. I read about the position in your website, and I think I suit in your company. Camila: I hope so, currently we have several projects going on, and the project team has been very busy, if you get the job, get ready to work hard in the coming months. Rita: That won't be a problem, I consider myself a hardworking, committed, and proactive person. So, what are the essential qualifications required for the position? Camila: This is an entry-level engineering position, we will provide you a lot of training here. But we do require that you have at least a bachelor's degree in Industrial engineering and if you have previous experience in the field, that’s an advantage. Rita: Oh, I have no experience in the field, actually I have never worked before but I would love to learn from you and develop my skills as an engineer. Camila: Well, it looks like you have the will and desire to learn. But to gain this position, you should have previous knowledge in management and production. But nothing is lost yet, as we will offer training focused on these areas. Rita: As I said, I have never worked in the area, however, throughout my course I developed several projects on management and production, so I think the training will be easy for me. Camila: Very well, what do you expect from this job? Rita: This work should definitely help me grow in my career. I will be delighted to learn and grow working in a reputable company like yours. Camila: You are right. There are many possibilities for progression in our company. What are your strengths? Why should I hire you? Rita: I consider myself a proactive and organized person and I am a fast learner. I am very eager to learn. I like to work in team and I’m also very social and very easy going. Camila: Hm, very well. Do you mind working overtime? Because we are sometimes overwhelmed with a heavy workload. Rita: No, I don’t. I think I can handle it well. Camila: Amazing, do you have any questions for me? Rita: No, I think I have understood the requirements. I believe I can handle this with ease, and the fact that you provide all the training sounds great. I Hope to have the opportunity to work for you. Camila: Very well Rita, it was a pleasure to meet, I can say that you are a strong candidate to the position, thank you for your time. Rita: Nice to meet you too, thank you for the opportunity. Camila: Thank you for coming and good luck.
