Sturgeon Point Productions Presents Aria Pacheco Sturgeon Point Productions will be hosting its 5th Annual Script to Screen series, every Friday night this April in our Studio G screening room. All employees, interns, and film students with current school ID are welcome to share in this totally free, exciting evening, where our award-winning filmmakers from our Documentary and Short Feature Film Departments give a first-hand account of the filmmaking process and the challenges that went into their particular projects, from the script phase through production and finally, in distribution and marketing. This year, we are proud to kick off the series with Aria Pacheco, who will discuss her multi-award winning documentary, “Through the Cold.” This film documents the perils and triumphs of a team of scientists living in Antarctica. This compelling story, rich in visual complexity, follows the team as they prepare for the six months of darkness in the winter season. Celebrated film critic, Georges Harold, will be conducting an interview with Ms. Pacheco and select members of her crew following a screening of the film, which will take place on Friday, April 5th at 8 p.m. This event is guaranteed to fill up fast, so we suggest you get in line at least one hour prior to the screening. “Through the Cold” has been heralded by critics across the country. Don’t miss this chance to meet one of our greatest documentary filmmakers. Date: April 5 Time: 8 p.m. Place: Studio G Screening Room Документ1
