Setting up a new Marketing Campaign for Whole Organics1 Whole Organics was founded in 2018 and is a privately owned Australian manufacturer and retailer of organic skin care products. The demand for organic products is growing in Australia, as is the market. Established and new retailers now offer a range of organic skin care products at a competitive price, leading to increased competition in the market. The product line is based on sustainably produced, ecofriendly personal care products including moisturisers, cleansers, and hand-washes. You have been appointed as the Project Manager by Whole Organics (The Client) to set up their marketing campaign. The client has asked you to work with designers and marketing specialists to plan the campaign which will incorporate a spectrum of media, including TikTok, Instagram and Facebook and live events such as a local sustainability expo. Whole Organics asked you to prepare a Project Charter that will outline the scope of work. The project scope will include, but is not limited to understanding the customer profile, key campaign messages and offers, design work, content format, advertisement channels, setting up the campaign budget, and campaign execution. You need to work with the Marketing Manager to understand the targeted demographic more clearly, then with the designers to story board the campaign content and subsequent execution of the campaign. The launch of the campaign is scheduled for 1 August 2023, but the Project Charter needs to be ready well in advance, to allow enough time for detailed project planning and implementation. As with every project, there is always some level of uncertainty, and you need to make assumptions, or research information that is not provided in this request for a project. That means you are required to clearly define and scope the project as you see it. You will have opportunity to consult with the client on the scope of the project (during the Lecture). You need to also estimate project budget. At this stage of the project, the budget does not have to be detailed. You will manage a team of 4 (two Designers, Marketing Manager, and IT specialist). Each team member will offer you 4 weeks of work at your discretion, at a cost of $100.00 per hour for a 35-hour work week. They are all experienced, but they may do many other jobs related to their functions. You will be charged at a cost of $120.00 per hour for 5 weeks at 35 hours per 1 Neither the company nor the project are real. These resources are allocated for the entire project including preparation of the charter. Other costs will be as proposed by you and your team. The time allocation for each team member can be spread over the duration of the project and can be allocated to a number of different tasks.
