Umar(Ra)’s greatest quality was his humbleness like when he reached Jerusalem, he was wearing dirty
clothes and it was him who was holding the leash of the camel on which his slave was sitting. His clothes
had multiple patches on them. He never had bodyguards and even though his life was in danger, he did
not have security and was praying in the open. He could have ordered Aisha (Ra) to be buried in her
apartment but instead he sent his son to ask her. He never abused his power. When he was shown a
prayer area in Jerusalem, he went outside the city and prayed showing his religious tolerance and
humbleness. When Firouz threatened to kill him, he did not arrest him on charges of suspiciousness,
which his companions asked him to do.
