OVE/WPP/M3DRA/001/R1 ALTERNATIVE GANGWAY INSTALLATION PROPOSAL PROPOSAL 1: SHIFT GANGWAY LOCATION TO SOUTH (WITHOUT TUGGER UNIT) FIGURE (1) Comments: Proposal (1) is to shift gangway landing point to south, eliminate the use of air tugger (significant reduction of weight). Rigging up of gangway and tensioning of slings using 4 units of 10MT chain blocks (configuration, hooking points based on drawing no. T7-PCSB-AIP-DWG-022-22. Suggest to replace chain block with turnbuckle once the gangway in the position for long term at Platform M3DR-A. High tide or low tide use to be adjusted from PAP at barge. OVE/WPP/M3DRA/001/R1 FIGURE (2) Comments: After survey perform at Platform M3DR-A on 11/12/2022, OVE propose reposition the primary line to reduce the tension and avoid air tugger winch handrail removal. Also, the secondary line shall relocate from the cellar deck main beam (W36 X 210) to Universal beam (W24 X68). For lateral hold back line shall remain for movement of the gangway. For this option require longer lead time to supply the materials (EH36) 4 - 5 working working weeks including fabrication in Labuan. Furthermore, the padeyes installation should include additional workscope of welding habitat, MPI and Loadtest that high possibilities to impact cost and schedule.
