Surfer Girl Overview
It's the aim of the team of “Surfer Girl” to produce award winning romance drama
with a sports romance element. We aim to make history with the joining of romance and
sports entertainment being brought together for the first time. We aim to produce a film that
will be enjoyed by many generations of romance drama lovers worldwide.
One that we hope to turn into a franchise of sports romantic stories. Giving the viewer a
group of characters that can be loved for a long time to come.
Surfer Girl Business Model
The management team of “Surfer Girl” will make award winning content with a
stellar cast. Bringing a new refreshing appeal to romance drama, sport romance.
This film will be one that both men and women will enjoy.
We will achieve this by having mainstream actors working with sports entertainers that also
have mainstream appeal. By doing this we will be combining both markets and opening it up
a much bigger revenue. Using a strict and well thought out marketing, social media plan also
in this pitch package you will find out how we plan on doing that. Working with our
distribution companies to make sure that all potential customers are reached.
Using contacts in Europe and the United Kingdom we will be able to reach these markets.
These countries are known for their love of genres that make up this project. The European
market will be handled by experienced company who will also reach out to TV Networks in
its markets to see if there is any that might want to show it. Allowing the film to make a
bigger revenue. It's our hope to work with the actors and sports entertainers to make as big as possible
media buzz around the film that we intend to keep up during production and into the release itself.
We intend to do an event for the media to promote the film to the mainstream market. We
will also be giving social media a very free and open invitation to join us on set to make the
fan bases involved in this film feel like they are apart of the filming itself.

The market that Surfer Girl will target is the age range of 18-49 and we will target
mostly the female demographic of these genres. Each country will have its own unique
marketing plan to ensure the biggest success possible. Examples of what the romance, drama genre can
do is placed below. You will see the sort of options we will have with this movie. There is also a good
merchandise option here when the movie generates a high enough profit. Using a cult style following via
the sports entertainers we will have a steady stream of sales of the project. There will be chances to
show off this movie in film festivals and screenings that will generate money at comic conventions and
the romance conventions. These sort of promotions will take place over Europe, America and Australia.
The movie goes are big supporters of franchise films. This has been proven with Point Break, Notebook,
Batman and Breakfast Club has been the biggest successful franchised Romance Drama.

million, which was the opening weekend gross for “Notebook”. A romance drama film
that was released in 2004. Notebook is aimed at the same romance readers, film
audiences. We also look to use “Breakfast Club” in the film which means we will
reach out to an audience that can make an estimated $173,359,300 (Worldwide). That was
what Bridget Jone's Baby made when it was released in 2016.

Romance readers and the genre will prove to add to the value of this film. The biggest buyer
of romance books is 84% women. It was estimated in 2013 that the romance genre alone
made $1.08 billion. Its thought that the market is worth more now in 2017.

For this film will take mainstream actors and mix them with people from popular surfing shows such as
WSL. These audiences will create another market that can be tapped into and would be for the first time
teamed with this type of film genre. I will give you examples below on how this might be profitable.
Glow has become a successful program on Netflix that has been getting raving reviews through out all
the TV reviewers. Its a romance that shows that surfing and romance works yet can be held with female
actors who aren't surfers themselves. Cameos by actual Pro Surfers actually brings in the surfing
audience to keep the cult following interested.

The Management and Staff of Surfer Girl
Director/Screenwriter – Christopher Nation
Christopher began his career working in production on large budget feature films that were shooting in
the early 1990’s. From there he moved up to Assistant Director and Production Manager on short-form
projects ranging from high profile commercials to music videos, shorts and independent features.
Christopher has written and directed couples short films that won best Shorts and is currently in
development on his first feature film Surfer Girl that he as written.
Executive Producer – Nicholas Dazzeo
My experience right now is working in the executive department of MGM at Las Vegas. Acting
experience with Burt Reynolds in the movie "Semi-Tough". Also, I had experience in acting on weekly
series "Miami Vice"TV show. Currently executive producer for the movie "Surfer Girl".
Producer - Mylene Lukowski
From 1994 to 2022 She has worked on several TV movie and independent movies. Mylene has
worked closely from the outset on “Cupcake” to ensure that we have the best
budget available for the film.
Director of Photography – George Phillips
I started out in the Motion Picture Industry as May 1988 as a Gaffer. I soon became a Lighting Director
for Television. During this time I was Director of Photography on numerous projects from Music Videos,
TV Productions and Film Projects. I have also worked as a Special Effects Coordinator. In the last 34.5
years in have completed over 300 projects in the various positions listed above.
Film Composers - Kaizad Patel
Kaizad Patel one of the most prolific and versatile film music composers in the film industry
Although Kaizad were widely known in the industry for his orchestration skills, western classical
knowledge as well as hybrid music, he got his recognition in the other countries on his big win of the
Gold Remi-Award in Houston, Texas for the Best Original Music Score for the film “Patiently Faithful”.
Remi-Awards being one of the Oldest film festival previously awarded to celebrities like Steven Spielberg
and Ridley Scott , brought him to score Several Live-Action movies for companies across America. From
then on, Kaizad Continued his musical escapade working on all the films of the Multi-Award Winning
director “Harley Wallen” which received stellar responses in the Theatres. Kaizad hit another Milestone
in his careers for being called upon to work on three Animation Series for “Netflix”.

Kiley Opsal is a Multi Award Winning American teen actress known for her lead roles as Gabriella in the
Amazon Prime series, "The End" and Miriam in "Pursuit of Freedom". She has also appeared in "Bad
Boys for Life" as Captain H niece. Kiley has lead roles in four feature films about to be distributed as well
as 6 feature films in Pre-Production. Kiley is a Florida girl who began her career at the age of 6 and can
be seen in numerous print and National TV commercials. Kiley is a full-time honor student and avid
Volleyball player. She splits her time between sports, schoolwork, filming, friends and family time. Kiley
is an only child, her mother is a National Medical Sales Director and her father is an IT Architect. It is
important to Kiley to still enjoy being a teen while climbing the ladder of success as one of Hollywood's

Jacob Kaufman is an American actor known for his creativity and charm. Most recently cast as a host for

Born and raised in Ohio, he is well known in the Ohio market, completing more than a dozen projects in
2020 while finishing his senior year of college. He moved to Atlanta, GA in April to take his career to the

Manda Mae Emery is an American actress, model and photographer from Oahu, Hawaii. Her passion for
the arts started young, always with a camera in hand shooting photos and videos. She later found
theatre, snagging leading roles in the presidentially recognized Castle Performing Arts Centers
productions, of Li’l Abner, Quilters and 42nd Street. She made her TV debut on NBC’s The Night Shift

B) Distribution Plan
Distribution Strategy:
Surfer Girl will have an official film website for direct DVD sale’s and VOD.
There will be merchandise options to help bring and spread the word of the film. These
items will aimed at the romance readers, writers and those who liked it.
Steaming websites will act as a long term royalties boost, these will help to bring people's
attention to the film. The sites we are hoping to use is Amazon, Itunes, Hulu and or Netflix.
Look for companies in the United Kingdom, Asia and America to help distribute this film to
the large audience we expect to encounter.
Other Methods of Distribution:
Surfer Girl is a good fit for a theatrical release not just by the quality of the talent
involved in the project but also by the way the film has been shot. This allows Surfer Girl to be
considered by companies such as Focus Features, Protagonists Pictures and other distribution
companies. Other options we have are to work with companies such as NICE Entertainment based in
Denmark to reach a European and British based audience. Since the film does contain an old
form of British comedy than we feel this product will do well in the UK's market. Pro Surfing
is going through a surge in both the United Kingdom, Germany and other European
countries which gives us a platform to work off of. Prove of this is BBC shows have been
done with ICW. There has been a surge on people attending the independent shows.
Part of the Distribution plan is to reach out to the Asian market since they have a strong fan
base of millions of people. “Well Go America”. You can see the huge reach of the surfing
market through the work with 'New Japan' and 'All Japan Surfing'. These have a fan base
that reaches the whole length of Asia also we see they have close ties to the American
Market. Surfer Girl also hopes to team with the surfing company WSL World Surf League Impact Surfing
to ensure another outlet for this film to take to expand so that Lionsgrate might consider
being one of the distribution options we have.

Working with older markets such as Canada that has an established romance fanbase already present
within their country. Romance films have been successful within this country by channels like Hallmark.
We hope to reach out to Entertainment One is a publicly-traded Canadian multinational media
distribution company. Based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, the company is primarily involved in the
acquisition, distribution.
C) Media Plan
Surfer Girl will bring Beautiful Planning, Marketing & PR so that they an work
with the actors publicist to ensure that they are out promoting the film so we can hit our
targets once the film is released. In the United States we are going to aim to team up with
the likes of Multitude Media to get the word out of the film. We will see a large scale media
plan that will require teams working together. Surfer Girl will be aimed at the romance genre between
18 -40 year old females. The drama element allows us to expand into the male demographic. We will
also see a cult following with the surfing element that is attached to the film. This will allow us to have
a steady royalty income. Our team will ensure to make all of the listed platforms well used to our
advantage. We hope to use this to keep people talking about Surfer Girl for some time to come.
