-cities were overcrowded (factory owner were new middle class )
-working class (work a lot , very poor wages , women and children were oaid less , they live in small flats all
together , bad conditions)
-the working class started to rebel into combinations
-1799 combination act (combinations were illegal)
-the rebeols were called Luddites (the leader was Neil Ludd)
-They started to destroy machines in factories ,the governament sent the Army to stop the rebels
-1819 in Manchester St. Peter Loose’s MAssacre (eleven rebels were killed by the soldiers )
-1825 trade union act (combinations , called trade union , were made legal
