The true cost of a power disruption
Can you afford it?
• Preventive maintenance
maximizes your uptime.
Financial impact of 1 hour’s production shutdown
• Thanks to scheduled
equipment outage, less
disruption to activities and
less stress is generated.
• It takes less time to perform
preventive maintenance than
emergency repair while
mitigating the risk of
emergency shutdown.

The 3 types of maintenance
• Corrective maintenance
• To repair equipment
• Not scheduled (occurs after a failure)
• Preventive maintenance
• To keep the equipment working (failure is to be avoided)
• Scheduled (independently of the real state of the critical components)
• Periodic (or systematic)
–The operation is done systematically (period of time, or number of cycles)
• Condition-based
–The operation is done depending on the analysis of a measurement
• Predictive maintenance : with monitoring system

Explanation of spare part references
MTZ spare parts have SP at the end of the commercial reference:
- unique components,
- supplied with an IS (Instruction de Services)
ex. LV8xxxxxxSP
Catalogue numbers & pare parts 2017
Catalogue numbers (without SP):
- are sub assemblies made up of unique components created to ease the ordering and
configuration of the device
OR
- are parts shared with other ranges (IFE, I/O, AD Module).
ex. 54446 battery module 24VCC
-> catalogue number is not referenced into SPEED
For Example : 24VDC Standard XF closing release
–
–
Catalogue number LV848481 = 24VDC Standard XF closing release + Terminal Block
To order the same as a spare part, you would need to order :
LV833659SP = 24VDC Standard XF closing release only
LV847849SP = Terminal Block only
