What is Career Planning
• Career planning is a process that an individual commits to with the motive of
identifying personal skills, values, and motives, establishing goals and
objectives, and identifying ways to achieve them.
• Also selecting a suitable career, establishing objectives and goals, and
deciding on the educational path required to achieve the specific career
objectives.
Marketing
• Marketing is a division in a company that attempts to encourage market
participants into buying their company’s products or services and to commit
loyalty to the company.
• The importance of Marketing is to increase a company’s growth and that is
achieved by attracting and retaining old and new customers through various
marketing strategies and policies created by the marketing team.
Global Marketing Manager
ROLE
• The role of a Global Marketing Manager is to handle the promotion of a
company’s products and services around the globe.
• Identify the competition and work with the sales and product-development
departments to determine what products and services need marketing.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
• Develop strategic marketing plans which include pricing and promotional
planning, maintaining and planning budget for products.
• Coordinate with global managers and prepare strategies to achieve growth in
markets
• Develop and maintain relationships with all marketing teams and develop
effective strategies for individual countries and maintain knowledge of all
customer markets.
