Did16022022 The secy to PCMM/swR(pc.09sw6p003) has been transferred and posted as
sMM/s&T in Medical department against the post of SMM/MSD/UBL (pc:09sw6p003) to toor
after the procurement of Medical items and he will be under the administrative control of
PCMMiSWR.
As per para 3.6 of JPo Dldjs.022022 under reference (2), the purchase powers for
procurement of medicine and other related ilems, shall be as per the powers delegated in tr/odel
SOP-2018 Part-D (Stores matters).
It is to submit that, in terms of Railway Board letter No.2017/Trans/01/policy/pt-S dt08.03,2018, the following instructions iss,ued by ihe Railway Board vide letter under refe'rence (3).
para (b) one sr. scale stores otficer (sMM) may invariabty be posted in all zonal
Hospitals
reporting to MD of the hospitat.

Nominated sMM shall exercise same direct acceptance purchase powers as
exercised by JAG/SG stores officers. This shall include procurement of Medical
and
surgical as well as general items including proprietary Medical and surgical itemi.
