The pandemic has caused educational institutions all over the world to reassess their learning strategies. Several distance learning modalities have been introduced to provide students with an alternative learning strategy during the pandemic to be able to continue the learning process. However, not eve ryone agrees with this 'new normal' learning system, as it may have increased the students' already existing stress. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the struggles of Grade 11 Senior High School students and their coping mechanisms to help the researchers understand how it is suitable to the blended learning modality implemented currently in Legazpi City Science High School during the school year 2021-2022. The study will give benefits by raising awareness and improving the applied learning system. The study made use of the Convergent Parallel Design to analyze the quantitative data and Thematic Analysis to analyze qualitative data. The data gathering procedure includes seeking participants using the Purposive Sampling Method and collecting the responses. Statistical tools were used to analyze and interpret the results. The findings of the study show that there are a lot of challenges experienced by the students in which they use several coping strategies to lessen their stress. It is implied that there is a need for improvements in the implemented blended learning modality Ang pandemya ay nakadulot ng muling pagsuri ng mga akademikong institusyon sa buong Pilipinas. Ibatibang “distance learning modalities” ang ipinakilala upang bigyan ang mga estudyante ng alternatibong istratehiya ukol sa pag-aaral sa panahon ng pandemya para ipagpatuloy ang kanilang proseso ng pagkatuto.
