Cloud computing question 1

Cloud computing program was first mentioned to me when I was in IT fundamentals
program. After I learned more about cloud, and my mentor gave me an insight of cloud, I was
intrigued by it. I want to grow in the tech field. The cloud computing program gives me an
opportunity to advance my career in IT. I decide to enroll into NPower’s cloud computing
program instead of other programs across the net, because I’m confident it will help me to
acquire the skills I need in future positions similar to IT fundamentals.
Cloud computing program is not the only program I was curious about. Cybersecurity is
also a potential path I will like to pursue. Both cybersecurity and cloud computing program are
appealing to me, since these two fields are the fastest growing industries in tech. I was debating
whether to choose a career in cybersecurity or cloud computing. I decide to get certifications on
both. The certifications I m planning to earn first will be AWS cloud Practitioner and AWS
solutions architect through Npower. I might enroll into cybersecurity as well once I complete the
cloud computing program. I remember a guest speaker was mentioning that cloud computing
program is design for those already have a job. If I don’t have a job, I will not even get a chance
to enroll into this program. I happen to be currently working as an IT setup technician for HTx
Services. The client is MUFG Bank. I learned MUFG Bank adopted Microsoft Azure as its cloud
service recently. I’m planning to be managing this bank or other institutions’ cloud service in the
future.
The opportunities for cloud computing are endless and evolving according to my mentor.
My mentor showed me how cloud functions and how I can manage it. I understand cloud is not
just limited to infrastructure management but also includes many other areas like network
management, security, data protection, and disaster recovery. I can see myself as a cloud
computing engineer to develop, implement, and maintain cloud software infrastructure. This role
is tech-focused and less involved with business requirements. I always been more interested in
technical side more than the business side. My goal is to find a hybrid position that compose of
cybersecurity and cloud computing.
I decide to enroll into NPower’s cloud computing program instead of other programs
across the net, because I’m confident it will help me to acquire the skills I need in future
positions similar to IT fundamentals. I’m aware AWS certificates are sought after certifications
in the tech field. AWS is create for beginners to navigate the cloud platform. I believe NPower’s
cloud computing program will able to provide me resources to jump start my career in cloud
computing.
