SHS VISION
The Senior High School Department of the University of San Jose-Recoletos envisions to
become a certified leading provider of excellent and holistic quality Christian communityoriented education in the Philippines that produces global learners from various tracks
and strands with character, competence and commitment towards sustainable
development and societal transformations.
SHS GOALS OR OBJECTIVES
Specifically, the Senior High School Department aims to:
1. become the leading SHS institution for excellent and quality Christian Education in
the region and in the Philippines;
2. develop the culture of research and other scholarly works among its students, faculty,
administrators and staffs as basis for critical judgment and decision-makings;
3. internationalize the multi-cultural education in the Philippines through the student
cultural exchange program;
4. imbibe the Josenian core values in becoming excellent, productive and global citizens
through their acquired leadership capabilities and entrepreneurial skills;
5. develop individuals with effective and profound responses on sustainable
development initiatives and high ethical standards in social, professional, intellectual
and spiritual challenges and technological practices.
6. produce future innovators and creators of new knowledge in all fields of learning
through holistic and transformative learning experiences;
7. strengthen linkages amongst industry practitioners within the community locally,
nationally and internationally;
8. provide balance learning opportunities for a comprehensive and holistic development
of learners through the curricular, co-curricular and extra-curricular activities.
