The Financial Accountability Office of Ontario provided us with the budget used
for the Ontario education system. 27,057 million dollars are used approximately
each year for the education system.

The Ontario Newsroom website provides us with valuable insights regarding a
new tool to help prevent human trafficking. The tool we mentioned in our solution
is called “The Trap” which is a digital educational tool. This information helped us
develop our solution for the Secondary School population, to inform and educate
the students about this issue.

The stats found on Statistics Canada provide us with information regarding the
province of Ontario specifically, and how the rates compare to other provinces
and the national average rate.

The United Nations website provided us with valuable information about human
trafficking, such as 79% of human trafficking is sexual exploitation and there are
approximately 40.3 million victims of human trafficking globally. This website was
very insightful and added significant value to our findings.
