1. As a student of Tayabas Western Academy,
how can you make good governance happen?
One say’s that, “Governance is too complex task to be left alone to
politicians especially to the irresponsible and the corrupt” (Anonymous). So, as a
student of Tayabas Western Academy, we should be responsible enough to make
good governance happen by means of being a good constituents of the
community where we follow the rules and regulations that was being prescribed,
because a good leader is also a good follower, based on the opinion of Jingcky
Catapang (BSED-IV). She added that, “good governance would disregard
corruption and against to illegal doings.
According to Laura Mae Salonga (BEED-IV), as a student, I can make the
good governance happen my doing my responsibilities wether as an officer or a
leader or as a follower. I will cooperate on the schools activities and I will attend
meetings, for me to become updated and informed of the plans and as a student,
whenever I have ideas or suggestion for the better plans, I will tell it to them.
Good governance will happen if every of the group cooperates and actively
participates and if there is unity and peace among the members. It would be easy
to have a good governance, if every member will be open-minded and humble to
accept opinions, complains, and suggestions.
While to ClaribeL Baldos (BSED-IV), to build good governance, I will make
this happen by gaining trust and cooperation of the people. Because I believed
that, “Two heads are better than one”, that’s why involving people in governance
will be much better. Because partnership between the government and the
constituents would make good emphasis in the governance. With me being
accountable, fair, and transparent and with them having trust, cooperation and
confidence, I think in that way I can make good governance happen, without
promising but by just doing what is best for the government and its constituents.
Furthermore, Aloha Joy Pedrosa (BSED-IV) added opinion, that good
governance possess transparency, accountability, integrity, trust, innovation,
social and economic responsibilities that will help the community become
progressive.
In addition from Donna Lingao (BSED-IV), to make good governance
happen the government itself need good leaders that has personality like
prioritizing first his/her constituents so that they will know what are they
concerns of.
2. In relation on question number 1, develop a
vision for good governance.
